Franklin Credit Union Scandal: Alisha Owen Today

My wife arrived home ahead of my younger brother last evening following her long day of work at the Thai restaurant where she has part-time employment. He had bused off in the early afternoon to hook up with a friend or two at a Port Kells pub where he would likely be doing some heavier than usual drinking.

The pub's location did not favour any of the drinkers, so each would have to sacrifice somewhat to arrive there. In my brother's case, that meant two buses.

And so it was nearly 10 p.m. before he made it back home again; but since I had no earlier a.m. plans for today, I sat up to operate our Android TV Box and watch an episode each of a couple of the T.V. series we follow (Doctor Who and Chapelwaite).

(Note that my brother and I have only followed Doctor Who after Jodie Whittaker debuted as the Thirteenth Doctor. We were never fans previously.)

I had drank a glass of wine early in the evening, and had two cans of strong (8% malt) once I was watching T.V. with my brother. He was of course drunk, but not so mentally impaired that he was passing out or unable to follow the shows.

We called it quits around midnight; and when I got to bed ─ probably early in the second half of that hour ─ my wife was still up and in her bedroom with the light on and the door slightly ajar, so I did not disturb her just to bid a goodnight.

I slept reasonably well; but around 5:30 a.m. I was unhappily awake. Trying to sleep on my stomach can be a remedy, so I gave that a shot, and was not to check the time again for about two hours. And so I was up for the morning ahead of 8 a.m.

My brother soon followed suit, and had on the T.V., but I remained here at my computer until maybe 8:50 a.m. before going downstairs to boil water for a mug of hot instant coffee with 'the works'. Then I joined him in the living room, and was soon enough invited to take over and put our Android TV Box to use.

I led us off with Odessa Orlwewicz's latest video of 55 minutes' duration.

I followed that with one of Joseph Mercola's videos on BitChute ─ the hour and 24-minute feature was titled General Principals to Consider When Treating Chronic Illness- Interview with Dr. David Minkoff.

Dr. David Minkoff is a pioneer in natural medicine with an active practice in Clearwater, Florida. In this interview, we dive deep into some of his best strategies to optimize your health and resolve common health challenges that conventional medicine is incapable of resolving.

Chronic illness is typically caused by some underlying cellular dysfunction, and two of the primary reasons for that are toxicity and/or poor gut health.

Infected root canals and cavitations are also common causes of chronic health problems.

Oxygen therapy stimulates your body to heal itself. You can stimulate joint cartilage to grow, strengthen your immune system, kill off pathogens, keep viral infections at bay and much more.

Alternative treatment modalities that can help facilitate healing where conventional medicine fails include prolotherapy, ozone therapy, prolozone (a combination of prolotherapy and ozone), hyperbarics, chelation, UVBI (ultraviolet blood irradiation), EBOO (extracorporeal blood oxygenation), photobiomodulation and more.

It managed to hold some of my brother's attention, for it was not excessively technical. However, both doctors are heavy aficionados of complex medical testing and various therapies that put themselves far out of the reach of people like my brother and I ─ these are doctors for 'the rich', and not people with very limited means.

The only way I could ever seek attention from someone like Dr. Minkoff would be if I had a winning lottery jackpot under my belt.

The final video I was to tune in was an hour and 18-minute YouTube video uploaded (I believe) April 29: Alisha Owen | The Nick Bryant Podcast.

This episode of The Nick Bryant Podcast features Alisha Owen, one of the victims of the Franklin Credit Union Scandal of the 1980s in Omaha, Nebraska. Sexually trafficked as an adolescent and set up for a prison bid, Alisha spoke out about her perpetrators and became an enemy of the state. State and federal grand juries indicted her on 16 counts of perjury, and she was staring at 200 years in prison, but she refused to recant accounts of her abuse. A Nebraska state Kangaroo Court found her guilty on all counts of perjury, and she was sentenced to between 9 and 15 years in prison. The authorities really attempted to destroy her by placing her in solitary for nearly 2 years. This is her first ever podcast interview. Alisha demonstrates that people can have spirits that are indestructible.

I don't recall ever hearing of the Franklin Credit Union Scandal, nor of Alisha Owen.

It took me awhile to adjust to Alisha's halting manner of expressing what she wanted to say, but once my brother and I both got some understanding of who she was and what she had to go through, the interview got to be very interesting.

I found Alisha to be entirely credible. And with my utter distaste for the legal systems anymore ─ they have all become grossly corrupted ─ I suspect that there was child trafficking happening. Perhaps not toddlers, of course; but rather, young teens.

However, it was overrunning the noon hour, so my brother bowed out around 12:45 p.m. to get some bed rest before he left for the afternoon to once again engage in his daily 'socializing'. Since I have nothing planned for tomorrow's early a.m., I am again willing to sit up beyond 9:30 p.m. if he is not home by then.

My wife had to put in another full day today (the restaurant opens at 11 a.m.), so she had risen and was in the bathroom readying for her day when my brother left to pick up his girlfriend Bev at 10 a.m. to drive her to work ─ Bev lives a little over two miles from us, but works quite near to where she lives.

He has this duty four days a week at present, and I try to take advantage during his absence for a session of exercising out in the backyard toolshed. Most of the time I will return into the house to find that ─ when my wife has to work that day ─ she will already be gone. That was not the case this morning, though.

Before she left, she asked me to cook up for myself a package of ground turkey that she has not had the time to do anything with, so it has just been sitting in the fridge.

Well, I had it towards mid-afternoon ─ I cooked it up with a quantity of leftover Jasmine rice, using plenty of coconut oil and some butter. It was delicious! And for once I know that I will be acquiring a healthy quantity of animal protein in my diet today ─ something I am unable to regularly do.

I ought to here mention, though, that I weighed myself before eating anything today; and while entirely naked I was at least 193 pounds, so I am not dropping weight as yet.

I have a hankering for another glass of red wine now that I am early into my evening, so I am going to being this post to a close.

The day has been dry and mostly overcast, but there was considerable sunshine during the morning.
