Downward Trend

Although it was nearly 10 p.m. when my younger brother arrived home last evening from his daily socializing, I was still sitting up here at my computer in my bedroom. However, I soon enough remedied that and put myself to bed ─ my cellphone alarm was set for 4:30 a.m.

I do not sleep well. Even when I go to bed tired, sleep eludes me.

My decision had been made that my early grocery shopping would be at the Save-On-Foods outlet not quite a mile from here, for I was not keen on challenging my lame left leg with a lengthy walk home from a more distant store whilst bearing groceries in each hand.

I still do not know for certain what happened to that leg ─ and I believe that I have said that it occurred last Monday evening, but it was definitely Tuesday evening; still, one possible diagnosis might be a high ankle sprain.

Of course, I am guessing or at best surmising, for I have not yet sought any medical attention for a more professional medical opinion. And I have certainly never suffered from one before to compare this with, nor have I ever known of anyone who incurred one.

I am flying blind.

But it would be nice to know certainly what is amiss. I may ponder visiting the walk-in medical clinic about four blocks from here at some point this coming week. I just do not want the physician I might see to fob me off by trying to send me off to a hospital for X-rays or some such. I might be amenable to such a further diagnostic, but I absolutely am not going to be cabbing to the nearest hospital because some appointment gets scheduled for that same day.

The nearest hospital is approximately as far from here as was Save-On-Foods ─ I can walk to it relatively easy enough. But it is in the opposite direction from the medical clinic from the vantage of where I live. Thus, to walk to the clinic, and then an equal distance back this way equates to a mile. Then I would have nearly that again ahead of me, quite apart from the walk back home.

In other words, any hospital visit would have to be a subsequent day to the walk to the medical clinic ─ I can NOT afford taxi rides.

But all of that is for near future consideration, and nothing to be fretting through today.

Despite the better than six hours in bed that I acquired last night, I was not feeling perky when my 4:30 a.m. alarm sounded. As I was to soon learn, my eldest stepson evidently had a 12-hour shift he was soon to rise for ─ he works at Tree Island Steel, and would have a 6 a.m. start.

His start was approximately when I was thinking of leaving home to shop.

He and I never spoke this morning, for I never left my bedroom in the time that he was up and readying for work. He did pass by my bedroom ─ with its somewhat open door ─ on his way to and from the bathroom here upstairs, but he said nothing as he did so.

I suppose that it was nearing 10 minutes past 6 a.m. when I left home. It was still beautifully dark. My immediate destination was the elementary school playground where for most of the year thus far I have been occasionally stopping to perform a few sets of pull-ups on the gymnastics-style rings featured there.

As I wrote about in my post of Friday when I stopped at a different elementary school playground that had no such rings, and I was forced to attempt pull-ups and chin-ups on bars instead of any rings, doing so is a whole different exercise! It's far harder!

So this a.m. I forsook the rings and instead worked at doing a few sets of regular pull-ups and chin-ups.

I am so pathetic. I cannot haul my carcass high enough for me to comfortably place my chin above the bar ─ not even once. Consequently, that is the exercise I shall be focusing upon hereafter ─ not doing pull-ups on rings.

Despite that stop, I was still at the store environs a little ahead of its 7 a.m. opening, so I slowly ambled about that vicinity until the place was available for shopping.

All told, my total walk might have attained two miles as a round trip.

After I was back home, I remained up until shortly after 8 a.m. when I became aware that my brother was by then showering, so I took that as my cue to seek some further bed rest.

I was back out of bed fairly soon after 9 a.m. And when I heard him turn on the T.V. awhile later, I then went downstairs and joined him.

We learned on the T.V. news that our efforts in voting in the just-past B.C. municipal elections here in Surrey were to no avail. Our party choice ─ People's Council Surrey ─ performed abysmally.

It is most discouraging.

When my brother offered control of the T.V. to me so that I could put our Android TV Box into action, I led us off with Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson's upload to Rumble a day or two ago ─ the video was almost 1½ hours (1:29:46): Collapsing Global Finance with Martin Armstrong.

We talk to Economist Martin Armstrong about QE (Quantitive Easing) and the effect on Global Financial Markets. He will also explain why Canadian should have US dollars. He will also talk about how banks have become enamoured of cancel culture.

Martin Armstrong may only have been featured for the first half or so of the show.

The next video I tuned in was far shorter ─ not quite a half hour (21:43). It was an upload by Bright Light News to Rumble two days ago: An Interview With Dr. Jessica Rose (Better Way Conference, Vienna, Austria)

Join just for this intimate interview with Dr. Jessica Rose, PhD, as she discusses the OPENVAERS adverse events data on Covid-19 "vaccines," their overwhelming harms and the tribulations of speaking out on behalf of humanity at the peril of reputation, career, family and friends. Dr. Rose, a computational biologist, has studied the OPENVAERS data extensively and shared her findings on the unprecedented harms cause by the experimental gene therapy on her Unacceptable Jessica substack.

Enjoy this interview filmed after the Better Way Conference in Vienna, Austria.

As I recall, the interview was actually filmed on September 22, I believe.

I always enjoy dear Dr. Jessica.

Her interview brought my brother and I quite near to the noon hour, and my brother announced that he planned to get out early for some exercise before he got involved in his usual nonsense (my word).

I had a first meal of the day, and then decided to have a bath instead of my early afternoon nap. Unfortunately, I was not feeling too hale, and the bath left me feeling even more depleted. I had scant choice but to retire to my bed to try and recover for an hour or so.

Even that was small benefit. But since the day was warm and sunny (the earlier T.V. news claimed that we were supposed to reach into the upper 20s degrees Celsius today, if not even hit 30ΒΊ ─ which would be 86ΒΊ Fahrenheit), I of course had to sun.

It was no problem wearing just a pair of cutoffs in today's temperatures, but I never did perk up much. I still feel lacking here into my evening.

Anyway, if I failed to acquire 75 minutes out there, I definitely came near to that mark.

I have no fire to be engaging any exercise that I probably ought to do, but I do feel rather like having a few drinks. So maybe I will call this post quits, and get my private blog's post out of the way as well, and then see if I have time for a Christmas movie ─ my excuse to indulge in some wine or rum.
