Amongst the most morally scurrilous am I.
It was rather pleasant having my wife home all of yesterday for a rare change. And it seems to me that she may have retired for the night before 10 p.m., for as I recall, it was right after my younger brother had arrived home from his beering ─ or 'socializing' ─ not too very long after 9:30 p.m. At the time, I was watching an episode of Riverdale ─ episode 14 of season three, for as I explained in yesterday's post, I had mistakenly tuned in episode 15 that evening because the link I had used for episode 14 brought up a recently viewed episode, and I was led to believe that my brother and I must have already viewed it even though the episode description seemed new.
I did not expect that my brother would much care to watch that missed episode, since we essentially already knew what was to occur after it; and so last evening I tuned it in for myself.
Note that as many as three of the links for it that I tried each brought up the same earlier already-viewed episode that sent me wrong two nights ago, so I was becoming doubtful that there was a misfiling ─ maybe my faculties were failing me in my old age, and the unfamiliar description was a bad sign of my weakening mental prowess.
But I was steadfast, and finally hit upon the correct episode 14 which was definitely previously unviewed by me.
Anyway, once it was over with, I then tuned in an episode of Inspector Morse ─ the first episode ("The Way Through the Woods") of season eight.
Although I was using our Android TV Box, we watched that episode at YouTube. Provided that this search link remains valid, you should be able to see that the entire Inspector Morse series is available there ─ I only discovered this last week.
Concerning the episode, I was delighted to discover the introduction of Clare Holman as the rather pert pathologist / coroner who is so prominent in the Lewis series ─ her character and D.I. (Detective Inspector) Robbie Lewis eventually become romantically involved in the latter series and end up living together. I had no idea that she was originally introduced in the Inspector Morse series ─ this truly was a treat.
Also concerning that episode, I was convinced that guest supporting actor Malcolm Storry (as DCI Martin Johnson) was actor Adrian Dunbar from Line of Duty, but I see now that he is definitely not the same actor.
There are some episode clips of both Clare Holman and of Malcolm Storry in the blog Morse, Lewis and Endeavour where it methodically dissects that very episode that my brother and I watched last night: INSPECTOR MORSE: Episode 29: The Way Through the Woods: Review + Locations, Literary References, Music etc. SPOILERS.
My brother and I were to finish off the T.V. viewing with two episodes ─ the second and third ─ from the British sitcom The Strangerers. That short-lived series is also available on YouTube, as this search ought to show.
My brother went to bed thereafter, but I pursued ignominy and may not have finally gone to bed until nigh 4:30 a.m. At least I first watered garden plants in the front yard.
My morning began around four hours later. My brother had not even emerged from his bedroom as yet.
When we got together for some morning T.V. and he turned it over to me in order for me to put our Android TV Box into play, I led things off with Odessa Orlewicz's video from yesterday ─ it was just over an hour (1:04:27) in length: DARPA, Our Minds, and The Slides Of Human Blood In 2022.
I was not impressed, for it focused on a DARPA video from 2017 ─ a lecture by a chap whose glibness rubbed me most wrongly.
We next watched a 2020 35-minute (35:20) documentary titled Psychological Operation.
This BitChute search should turn up some sources ─ just look for any of that exact length.
The final video we were to watch was at YouTube, and just over an hour (1:04:24) in length: Phoenixtears RSO with Daren McCormick. "RSO" stands for Rick Simpson Oil ─ you would have to be open-minded that cannabis bud oil might be extremely therapeutic to find this video of interest.
My brother sought some bed rest after this, and I soon enough sought a nap. He was gone for the day when I rose. However, his van was still here, so he would have bused off to rendezvous with one or more of his drinking buddies at a pub.
I intend to be in bed early this evening ─ I have an early a.m. walk scheduled that will require me to rise at 2 a.m.
By the way, my brother did vote yesterday afternoon in the 2022 British Columbia municipal elections ─ yesterday was the first advance polling day. However, he reported that even though he had all of the vetted names he intended to vote for, he could not find all of them listed for school trustees, and maybe even city councillors.
When I vote on the weekend, I am going to have to be very vigilant.
My wife had to work a full day today at the Thai restaurant where she has part-time employment, so she rose around 9:45 a.m. to shower and otherwise begin readying for the fairly long drive and her long day (the restaurant opens at 11 a.m.). I just hope that she does not get foolish after work and rob money from my chequing account ─ I intend to withdraw at least $200 for safekeeping from her when I am out on my a.m. walk.
The afternoon was a sunny one, albeit a little hazy. So at 2:32 p.m. (I believe) I was out in the backyard in cutoffs and managed to log a bit over 1¼ hours in the sunshine.
I want to recognize that it was exactly one year ago when I made my last post for nearly a month ─ I became deathly ill. As a result of that event, I am going to be most solicitous of my health as we head deeper into the Fall.
