No nap this afternoon ─ recidivism overruled. And I was not even in that mood. Instead, I fell strictly through curiosity and boredom.
My younger brother was home earlier than usual last evening, but I could tell that he was very drunk by his characteristic breathing. We never communicated. I was still here at my computer and just about to begin work on a post in my private blog (I keep my computer upstairs in my bedroom).
I had not as yet supped, but when I finished the post and investigated, I saw that my brother had obligingly passed out in his favourite living room chair as he was watching T.V. That made it easier for me to fetch myself some fare to ingest here at my computer.
I had no intention of watching T.V. with my brother, for I wanted to get to bed fairly early so that I could rise at 2 a.m. to see if my damaged lower left leg ─ the inside lower half of the lower leg ─ would allow me to have one of my 5½-or-so-mile walks.
I keep confusing myself as to when the injury occurred, but it had to have been on the evening of October 10th. As I was slowly elevating myself from a fairly low seating position while watching T.V. alone, I felt an odd burning sensation that sort of expanded throughout the area above and maybe beside my inside left ankle.
As I stated before, at the time I wondered if perhaps I had burst a large blood vessel; but into the following day, I began to feel that I may have torn a longitudinal muscle or tendon stretching down the lower half of my leg alongside the shin and to my ankle.
Quite possibly I have a high ankle sprain. Since I have never had one before, nor has anyone that I know of, I have nothing previous to which I can compare the injury.
No, I never did seek medical attention. But I have a swollen foot and I also have no visible ankle due to the swelling all around it.
Anyway, I got to bed well before 10 p.m. last evening, with my cellphone alarm set for 2 a.m. And although sleep did not arrive soon, that is nothing unusual for me, unfortunately.
Also unfortunately, during the space of time before my 2 a.m. alarm sounded, I actually rose three times to micturate. I know that I most likely have an enlarged prostate; I just hope that it is benignly so, and not cancerous.
My wife had worked that day at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, but did not arrive home after her full day until just after I had returned to my bedroom following my second visit to the bathroom.
She and I have separate but adjacent bedrooms.
She was to have to work another full day today, so she did not delay in getting to bed. No doubt, she had some drinks in her at that time.
When my alarm sounded and I rose to begin readying for my walk, I took the time to check my chequing account online, and saw that she had withdrawn over $1,000 from it ─ this tends to signify that she has lapsed into her gambling addiction. However, I saw that she also later transferred an equal sum back into the account.
A darned good thing, for the monthly mortgage will be getting debited from the account anytime from tomorrow until maybe Monday, and there would not have been sufficient funds had she not made that replacement.
I managed to ready myself for my walk and was locking up the front door at 2:15 a.m., all set to go.
Rather happily, I was to find that I was able to not only walk quite rapidly, but I could do so without a limp.
Very early into my walk, I stopped at an elementary school playground to perform two sets of pull-ups on a bar, two more sets of chin-ups, and then two final sets of pull-ups on a pair of gymnastics-style rings.
When I attempted the pull-ups a week ago (pull-ups on a bar are done with an overhand grip; chin-ups employ an underhand grip), I found that I could not raise myself sufficient to perform even one pull-up or chin-up with my chin placed above the bar.
This time, I managed three of them in the first set, but not quite a full pair in the second set. I did manage two repetitions of chin-ups in each set. Pull-ups on the rings are easier, so two pairs of reps in each set there were also accomplished.
My last walk early Tuesday a.m. was only 1½ miles or so, for my limp was too pronounced due to the burning pain. Last night, I began wondering if I might actually manage the 5½-mile walk that had been my pre-injury norm.
Alas, after I had progressed beyond the 1½-mile mark, I was finding that a limp was creeping in and the burning increasing. And so I elected to turn about. Nevertheless, overall, I feel that I probably totalled around 3¼ miles at minimum.
I do not now precisely remember, but it was either just before or just after 3:45 a.m. by the time I was back outside the locked front door. And I think that I got back to bed a bit ahead of 5 a.m.
By the way, yesterday I wrote that our defective old Honeywell MagicStat 32 CT3200 Programmable Thermostat that entirely quit working two days ago, mysteriously kicked into life in the early a.m. of yesterday. My brother had actually gone and bought a more modern Honeywell, and now it seemed that it was not yet needed.
Well, the old Honeywell quit working last evening ─ the LED screen is entirely blank and will not display a thing. It is only a matter now of one of us feeling the gumption to make the work of replacing it with the new one we have.
I managed to begin my day this morning before my brother had yet emerged from his bedroom, so I suspect that he either hit some hard liquor last evening, or else he stayed up swilling beer later than he otherwise would have.
It was lightly raining outside at long last.
All this year I have almost miraculously avoided finding my walks to have been scheduled for the same incidence as a rainstorm, and that trend is continuing.
Anyway, this morning my brother and I were to watch quite an assortment of programmes via our Android TV Box, beginning with Christopher James Pritchard's (A Warrior Calls) latest of yesterday: Corrupt Maggots All of Them.
Christopher covered quite a lot, but this video was basically a 'call to action':

WE THANK EVERYONE SO MUCH FOR PUTTING THESE PEOPLE ON NOTICE.
I must soon get around to creating an anonymous E-mail address so that I can participate in these operations.
The second video that I tuned in was uploaded to Rumble back in February, and was only about 6½ minutes in duration: WHO IS ZEXI LI?—A PSY-OP AGAINST THE CANADIAN PEOPLE?—NANO NEWS.
I was unaware of the attractive woman, but nonetheless the video was most interesting ... and now I am informed.
The third video we were to watch was uploaded to Rumble five days ago by Steve Kirsch, and was only about 11¼ minutes in length: Ryan Cole is the only pathologist in the US willing to test for the vaccine "fingerprints".
If you know someone who died post-vaccine and want to find out whether the person died from the vaccine, you'll want to send the autopsy tissue samples to Dr. Cole to be examined. He's likely the only pathologist in the US willing to do this work.
I had not before realized that Dr. Cole had such leading-man good looks.
The fifth video we were to watch had been uploaded to Rumble by Tessa Lena a week ago: New York State Isolation Camps: Tessa Lena talks to attorney Bobbie Anne Cox.
In this episode of the "Make Language Great Again" podcast, I talk to attorney Bobbie Anne Cox who recently defeated New York State isolation camps regulation.

Yes, this one was specific to New York, but it was definitely interesting. I had to wonder to my brother where the altruistic lawyers were here in Canada? Sure, we have our fighters, such as a huge legal name favoured by Tanya Gaw ... but we do not have any that I know of who will lift a finger in this fight unless paid to do so.
The sixth and final video I tuned in was uploaded by Australia's 'Mariazeee' to Rumble two days ago, and was somewhat more than an hour (1:09:54) in duration: Dr. Andrew Kaufman - Do Viruses Really Exist & Can They Be Transmitted?
Dr. Andrew Kaufman joins us for an in-depth discussion on the existence of viruses and whether they can be transmitted, taking us through a history of previous "pandemics" such as the Spanish Flu where researchers were not able to prove human-to-human transmission, even though they desperately tried to.
To follow Dr. Kaufman's work, visit his (extremely censored) website uding alternative search engines on the link below:
https://andrewkaufmanmd.com/
Dr. Andrew Kaufman is a strong proponent of the terrain theory ─ or at least, he does not believe in the existence of viruses. And even though I am still not fully convinced he is right, I do think the claim may have substantiation. In other words, I am open to it.
My brother never really did get bed rest following that final video ─ he was too anxious to get away and hook up with a drinking buddy for pool games. I hope he comes home in better shape than he did last evening, for I intend to watch some T.V.
Sunning was impossible today, even though it did not rain throughout ─ we have even had some drying, but no breaks in the cloud cover. And showers are still possible overnight as well as tomorrow.
My wife went to work on time this morning (the restaurant opens at 11 a.m.), but it seems that she does not trust herself to not jeopardize the chequing account and our ability to pay the mortgage. When she left for work this morning, she left me her debit card so that she cannot make any withdrawals later after work or over the weekend.
She also paid back a further $100.
