Try as I did early last evening, I was unable to locate a source for the movie I wanted to watch ─ this is uncommon. I did locate one or two sources that played the movie with a Russian narration ─ even the opening credits were spoken aloud in Russian.
Why would a Russian want to watch a movie ruined like that? Dubbing is one thing, but a narration / translation by a male voice that obliterates any of the movie conversation?
I spent a long time futilely seeking a movie source, and finally had to give it up for I had left myself too little time to watch a movie ─ I needed to be finished watching it before my younger brother arrived home from his daily socializing.
But in making one further attempt for purposes of this post, I have managed to come across a working candidate. Consequently, if I manage somehow to find the time, I might try to watch it later. Unfortunately, this is both a bath day; and it is also my plan to rise at 2 a.m. for one of my 5½-mile walks, so I need to be to bed reasonably early this evening ─ I cannot be available when my brother arrives home following his daily socializing.
To that end, I have written down the URL of the movie in case I am unable to locate the link again if I must resign myself to watching it tomorrow or otherwise on the weekend.
By the way, the movie of concern is 2000's Playing Mona Lisa.
Later that evening after my brother was home, I was unable to locate a suitable source for episode eight ("Stamp Duty") of the old BBC series Shoestring. We had previously watched the earlier episodes on YouTube, but from this point the episodes become spotty ─ I think that only three are represented for the second and final season.
I had one source all lined up for play on T.V. via a browser app that I have downloaded into our Android TV Box, but to our huge disappointment the concerned website source played the episode so quietly that a person needed to be seated right by the T.V.'s speaker(s) to easily hear conversation. And I had our T.V. cranked up to the maximum!
I now may have an alternate source that plays the episode louder, so I will see if I can locate it tomorrow evening when I am watching T.V. with my brother.
When we rose this morning, it was to find that it was and had been lightly raining, and that was to last into the latter morning, I suppose. It would be nice to not have to contend with anything serious on my projected walk in the very early a.m. tonight.
We were to watch a couple of videos this morning of some interest, both of which had been streamed yesterday.
The first was Odessa Orlewicz's that topped 1½ hours (1:34:39): Interview With Dr.Makis re: Evidence Of Government Cover Up About Excess Deaths In Canada.
Appalling information about the Canadian government and Health Authority's cover up, presented by Canada's Dr.William Makis on Liberty Talk Canada.
Dr Makis's substack is makismd.substack.com
I had to refer to the video's Rumble source for the description ─ none is offered at Librti.com.
Coincidentally, the second video also featured Dr. William Makis for approximately half of the video ─ also on Rumble, this time it was Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson doing the interview, and the video was nearly as long (1:32:42): Live with Dr. William Makis.
Dr. William Makis joins us today and we will be talking about his most recent substack article where he details the surge in excess deaths in Alberta.
Dr. Mark Sherwood a former gubernatorial candidate for Oklahoma will join us and talk about why he thinks we are experiencing 5th generation warfare.

We could likely have watched a sitcom thereafter, but my brother started phoning to arrange a hook-up with one or more of his drinking buddies at a specific pub to which he would be busing in order to avoid running the risk of an impairment charge.
This almost guarantees that he will not be home until after mid-evening, thereby allowing me to get to bed rather early for that late night walk.
After he sought some bed rest ere leaving early this afternoon, I logged into my banking account online and noticed that my wife's account was far over $200 into the negative ─ it seems that the life insurance company that she has policies on each of us with, attempted to levy a payment debit against her account that was essentially $400!
She must have recently borrowed money from them against her personal policy, for this is the first time that she has ever had payments that bloody high ─ my policy requires just under $210, and I am her senior by something over 23 years.
She is presently in Rome, Italy, visiting a sister of hers who lives there, so I alerted her to the problem. Not only will the life insurance company likely attempt the debit again ─ probably within the next few days ─ but our financial institution will smack her with a $48 penalty fee for not having the funds for that transaction.
And they did just that after they reversed the transaction.
So she begged me to transfer enough money into her account to cover the next attempt by the life insurance company to extract payment.
I actually transferred over $340 to leave her something like $15 in her account to cover anything like errant interest charges for one thing or another that might get applied to her account ─ as often happens to both of us.
She promised to repay the figure before mortgage day, which is supposed to be on the 21st of each month. She had darned well better, somehow. Otherwise, her eldest son will be my sole recourse for a mortgage shortfall if that date becomes imminent, and he would be furious ─ she has already bilked him of a large quantity of loaned money that she gambled away at a casino near where she was working hereabouts.
She is addicted to gambling, and one reason for this trip was to escape the lure of that infernal establishment. She hopes to earn money through her sister. And rather tragically, sell some land that she owns near her home village in Thailand, for she has accrued an enormous amount of debt through her ridiculous gambling.
I just hope that she does not get introduced to any casinos in Rome by her sister ─ nor learn about any on her own!
I am going to close this post here ─ I want to get in some exercising before that hot bath that is only going to deplete me.
