I only watched a little T.V. last evening ─ as I recall, an episode of The Goldbergs (the 10th season's episode 17 "A Flyer's Path to Victory"), and one women's MMA match on YouTube. I cannot recollect anything else.
I was to bed, possibly at 9:30 to 9:45 p.m., for I believe that I was allowing myself a full minimum of four hours of bed time before my cellphone alarm would be sounding at 1:45 a.m. to get me up to ready for my planned five-mile walk.
It was probably raining very lightly, so I was uncertain of what to expect. I was definitely not expecting that I would be doing any barehanded pull-ups or chin-ups at the elementary school playground early into my walk ─ and I was right about that.
At something like 12:31 or 12:35 a.m., I had to rise to use the toilet. In doing so, I could see that my younger brother was still downstairs in front of the T.V. ─ I was unsure if he was conscious or not.
When my cellphone later chimed, I was to find that he was still downstairs in front of the T.V., but at least he was conscious. I expect that he must have earlier spent a considerable amount of time passed out, for otherwise he would never still be sitting up.
As well, one of my stepsons was shut up in the bathroom showering.
Behind my closed bedroom door, I began my readiness routine, and was fortunate in that my brother had decided to finally come upstairs to his bedroom for the night; and then what was probably my youngest stepson quitted the bathroom, thereby allowing me another needed visit to the facilities.
The lad had gone directly to the lads' den area where he has his bed, so the remainder of the house downstairs was dark. As far as I know, I was able to leave on my walk unnoticed. I think that my eldest stepson was working a 12-hour graveyard shift until 6 a.m.
It was 2:15 a.m. as I set off after locking the front door, and it was lightly raining.
By the time I got to the school for the six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, my quite heavy denim jacket was becoming distinctly damp. Happily, though, it was not at all a cold wet. I was actually feeling a little humid beneath the jacket.
I removed it for the exercises ─ conditions were that mild. However, even though I managed four repetitions in the first set, and then two repetitions in each of the next four, the final set ─ which comprised pull-ups between two bars ─ saw me only able to manage one full pull-up and then just half of the second.
So I held the elevation for a 10-count.
I think that my failure had much to do with the oppressive humidity that was hampering my breathing.
I have nothing else to report about the walk, except that at the halfway mark I realized that the light rain was actually negligible ─ it had basically petered out without me realizing.
And when I was less than 1½ miles from home, the only rain I could feel were vague spittings of specks of rain. It was 4:11 by the time I was outside the locked front door, and the house was in darkness.
I was likely back in bed by 5:30 a.m. at latest.
When next I checked the time, it was well past 9 a.m., and I believed that I could hear the T.V. playing, so I rose. Well, I was mistaken, but I remained up regardless, spending time here at my computer which I keep in my bedroom.
When I rose, I had been daunted by the sudden recollection that I was undergoing a Sabbath fast and would be unable to have a desired mug of coffee. I will not be ingesting anything but water until after 9:30 p.m. this evening. Actual sunset seems to be anywhere from 9:14 to 9:17 p.m., depending upon what source I reference.
And yes, I deem Saturday to be the true Sabbath ─ not Sunday. I have been aware of this distinction since my teen years back in the 1960s, even though I am not a churchgoer. I last attended a normal church service (and on a Sunday) sometime around mid-1964.
Anyway, my brother soon enough did turn on the T.V., so I did get around to joining him. And then when he left to pick up his girlfriend Bev at 10 a.m., I assumed control of the T.V. and put our Android TV Box to work, setting up yesterday's upload of the livestream (1:23:41) of two days ago to Rumble's Vaccine Safety Research Foundation channel: Full Episode 80: Vaccine Injuries: How to Sue?
Tune in to VSRF LIVE this Thursday as Steve Kirsch and VSRF Director of Research Lisa Laehy speak with leading Covid Litigator, Attorney Tom Renz. They’ll dive into the crucial topic of legal compensation for individuals who have suffered adverse effects after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine. Renz will walk us through the various pathways available for those seeking justice and reparation for the harm they endured as a result of mandatory vaccination. This thought-provoking broadcast promises to shed light on the complex issues surrounding vaccine injuries and the legal landscape surrounding them.
Karen Cowan is a CA attorney working with Children's Health Defense on a Workers Compensation awareness campaign. Karen is here to talk about Workers Compensation benefits that may be available to workers injured by employer mandated jabs and her work with CHD.
It was quite interesting, but my fear is that we have yet to see the worst ─ truly, this concern of mine always offsets the hope and optimism these sorts of videos so often extend to viewers.
Although the video probably ended by 11:45 a.m., my brother was already inclined for some further bed rest. Yet even though I was desirous of more sleep to escape the weakness and mental fog caused by my fast and caffeine withdrawal, I had not yet returned to bed well into the noon hour when my brother emerged from his bedroom and announced his departure for the day.
I think that there was still some light rain in the morning, but some later drying was to take hold, and towards the end of the afternoon I even noticed the Sun vaguely breaking through the cloud cover.
I appreciate having a break from afternoon sunning duty for the 1½ or so hours it costs me, for those sessions do very much deplete me. This is now my second day of liberation. But I do pale up fast in the face especially, so I do not in good conscience want this break to be prolonged. Rather, I wish that such breaks occurred for short duration every week to 10 days. A couple of days of moist weather with that freqency would be wonderful over the coming Summer.
Obviously I will be sitting up late this evening watching T.V. ─ I am keenly looking forward to my later meal, and a couple of cans of the strong (8% alcohol) malt that I keep myself stocked with.
I hope that my brother is not too terribly late in getting home. Regardless, I will tune in one of the shows we follow in common at 11 p.m. if he is still not here ─ he will probably just be passing out through it anyway.
