A Nearly Pointless Undertaking

Sea of Mud Apparel Co.

Following my younger brother's arrival home well into the latter evening yesterday, I used our Android TV Box to locate an episode of The Graham Norton Show ─ episode eight of season or series 31.

Until this episode, we had watched the earlier season's episodes using the Cinema HD app, but this time it came up with no sources; consequently I resorted to the BeeTV app and was rewarded. The episode had only just recently aired (November 24), so the next one apparently aired just three days ago ─ it might be best not to expect to find any sources as yet.

I may be checking that out as early as this evening, if I undertake yet another after-dark walk instead of rising at 1:30 a.m. tonight to ready for it. I am supposed to run an errand primarily on behalf of my wife that requires visiting a post office, so I was considering doing that at Surrey Place (Central City) before it closed at 7 p.m. However, we have been having some darned serious rain today!

Surrey Place is a mile from here, but I would afterwards add distance to make the walk worthwhile if I am having to undertake this errand.

Anyway, after watching The Graham Norton Show last evening, I then tuned in an episode of American Ninja Warrior.

Wikipedia makes it extremely difficult to identify the actual televised episodes for season 15, but I suspect that we watched National Finals Stage 3 televised as episode 13 ("Las Vegas Finals 3").

Then we tapered off the night with some YouTube videos before calling it quits. I drank three cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol) over the television entertainment, so I cannot say certainly that I got to bed by 2 a.m. What I do recall is that I was somewhat annoyed to discover after getting to bed that I was very close to feeling that wretched alcohol-induced vertigo once the lights were out.

My morning was to commence around 8:30 a.m., and shortly after 9 a.m. I joined my younger brother for some further T.V. At his invitation around 9:10 a.m., I put our Android TV Box back to work and tuned in Odessa Orlewicz's 39-minute (39:42) audio video from yesterday: Day 8 & 9 -Petitioners Lawyer Comes Back To Debate Bonnie's and Her Lawyers Respone To Their Case.

As Promised Here Is Days 8 & 9 Audio Summary. They Are Now On A Break Until Dec 18th. I Will Resume Reporting Dec 18th (Re: Healthcare Workers Against Bonnie Henry's Vax Mandate.) This one is worth a listen to, as the petitioners lawyer comes back to debate Bonnie's and her lawyers reply to their arguments.

After that it was over to Rumble's America's Untold Stories channel and a video streamed back on January 25 and which just exceeded an hour (1:07:34): The Ladies of LBJ.

People like to say that John F Kennedy was a womanizer... He had nothing on his successor Lyndon B Johnson. LBJ had a staggering number of dalliances and seemed to have very few filters.
Mark Groubert and Eric Hunley are conducting the daunting task of going through the affairs.

And we finished up with an episode of Baddiel's Syndrome ─ all episodes of the only season are presently available at YouTube's Lovecraft Comedy channel. Unless I botched things, we have now watched a dozen episodes, for this morning's was episode 12 ("En Suite").

I'm unfamiliar with guest Gail Porter, so I had no idea that the character was a real personality. She was quite cute! Apparently about four years later she was to be stricken with alopecia totalis, says Wikipedia.

oooooooooooooo

I took a rather abrupt break to ready for my errand ─ I needed to take a barcode that I had printed out and present it to someone at a post office who would then somehow verify my identity for purposes of opening up an account at a financial institution.

It was a process new to me, but the clerk knew all about it.

The rain was nasty, but at least it was mild out.

However, it was all for naught. Despite the instructions I have that clearly state that provincial photo ID is acceptable, the clerk insisted that I needed to also bring something like a bank statement or some sort of bill that had been mailed to me.

So I confronted the busy very late afternoon and early evening for nothing, really. Yes, I did get in my five-mile+ walk, but I wanted this wretched errand over with. Now I have to return to the damned place tomorrow.

Maybe the weather will be better.

It was just about 8 p.m. by the time I was back home.

I have yet to sup, so I am going to do that, and be done with blogging for today.
