Just as I was getting to bed last evening around 9:45 p.m., I heard my wife enter the house and engage conversation with one of her sons, but I had to adhere to my plan ─ my cellphone alarm was set for 1:30 a.m. to get me up to ready for a five-mile+ walk. We have separate bedrooms.
Although I did waken and rise ahead of 1:30 a.m., I now cannot recall the exact time. The house was in darkness.
An online check yielded the claim that the temperature hereabouts was -0.5° Celsius (31.1° F.).
By the time I was about to leave, my fully clothed weight was somewhere between 191 - 192 pounds.
It was 1:53 a.m. once I was on my way. The street was damp from some earlier rain, but the sky had plenty of clearance.
I made my usual stop three or four blocks from here at an elementary school playground for six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, finding the equipment very wet. It was the sort of wet that seemed too cold not to be ice water.
I decided to exercise with the ski gloves I had brought along, and managed an identical performance to that of the previous night: three and then two pull-ups in the first two sets; the same amounts with the chin-ups in the next two sets; and just two pull-ups between a pair of jungle gym monkey bars in each of the final two sets, while holding the final pull-up at highest elevation for a 15-count.
And I finished with 11 slow full-range push-ups in a declined position on a cement ramp.
I had my brother's $298 monthly expenses reconciliation cheque to deposit, so I was able to do that approximately a mile from home.
There was one point in my walk when I met with a considerable delay as I twice avoided some jackass in a car who almost seemed intent on confronting with me. I was walking a forested stretch of an avenue when he came from the opposite direction and actually did a U-turn just a short distance ahead of me and then stopped. The U-turn was performed where there was a break in the avenue's median that otherwise stretched for quite some distance unbrokenly.
He had backed into the entrance of a paved unlit lot that he could not access with his vehicle because it was gated at each end, so I opted to take to it rather than walk before this idiot's car with its headlights on. I passed directly behind the car to achieve the lot.
Then this clown fired up his car and went down to the gated entrance at the other end where he parked and waited.
So I just stood in the lot and watched.
After a bit, he got out of the car, opened the passenger door on the same side and fussed about for a bit, and then shut it and seemed to be slowly walking my way in the unlit lot.
So I exited it and crossed the avenue to its opposite side ─ there was a substantial median in the avenue. In order for him to make the U-turn break he had earlier used, he would have had to backtrack to where he had first stopped, and that would require going the wrong way on the avenue.
Not choosing that option, he got back into his car and drove off in the direction opposite to what he had originally driven before his U-turn.
I was never excessively concerned, for I had my Titan baton flashlight stun gun with me, as well as a dagger on my hip. But if this guy was malevolent and had a firearm, well, I would then be clearly disadvantaged.
But I saw no more of him.
As the previous night, along another forested avenue I did some ploddingly slow 'old man' jogging to make up some time; and it was 3:54 a.m. by the time I was back home. I was a minute over two hours. The stopped car incident had cost me.
The time of my return to bed is unknown to me, but it was after 5 a.m.
I was to have an unusually difficult time of relaxing and achieving any sleep. A remembered dream was my only assurance that I must have had at least some by the time I rose shortly after 8 a.m.
Not only was I to take full possession of the T.V. at 9 a.m. because my younger brother had yet to emerge from his bedroom, but he never showed until long past 10 a.m. By then, I was using our Android TV Box and was maybe halfway through a video posted earlier today to Rumble's A Warrior Calls channel: People Gathered World Will Learn.
It was a livestream that Christopher James Pritchard recorded yesterday evening; and in it, he stated what I wanted to hear ─ that he would be presenting ─ probably this coming Sunday ─ a recording in which he was going to reveal how people could lawfully stop paying property taxes.
I have such high hopes ... but I am so expecting to be disappointed.
My brother and I also watched the interview that Christopher posted yesterday: Courageous FBI Whistleblower Exposes the Corruption.

We then watched a fairly short video on climate change hypocrisy that I have absolutely no idea was the source for, so I can offer nothing more concerning it.
The last video we watched was a half hour (30:57) and was uploaded on October 29, 2018, to YouTube's Talasbuan channel: Off Grid Life | The pigs are LOOOSE.
Actually, we let them out
Episode twenty-seven, in which we're doing some regular chores on our off the grid farmstead
This is a vlog about our struggles and joys of living off the grid in the forests of JΓ€mtland, Sweden.
This was my brother's second day of a three-day driving suspension, so he left afoot for a bus fairly early in the afternoon, and never took any bed rest ─ maybe he did not feel he required it after rising so late into the morning.
We had some considerable bouts of sunshine today. I could tell after it got dark that it is going to be a frosty night.
My wife was apparently not scheduled to work today at the Thai restaurant until its 4:30 p.m. afternoon reopening (each day it closes from 3 - 4:30 p.m.). She rose in the latter morning and headed off to do some grocery shopping, and was still not back when my brother left for the day.
It may have been around 1:30 p.m. when I finally sought my early afternoon nap ─ she was not back by then, either.
But she was here when I rose after an hour or more. She was pretty much ready to leave for work, and did so somewhere between 3 - 3:30 p.m., I would say.
I have another early walk planned for tonight, so I will be getting to bed early after mid-evening.
Even though I was not hungry, I managed to get down a small meal after my wife left, for as of dark (sunset here was supposedly at 4:13 p.m.) my Sabbath fast commenced, and I will not eat again until after dark tomorrow.
After eating I managed to watch an episode of Magnum P.I. without resorting to a beer or any hard liquor, for it was dark by then. The episode was season five's episode nine ("Out of Sight, Out of Mind").
Concerning my walk last night, I felt oddly 'off'. Something felt amiss with me ─ not major, but a little concerning. I also felt unnaturally hungry ─ as if something else was at play, and exaggerated hunger a mere symptom. Too, the walk was far more boring than usual ─ and as a partial consequence, wearying.
Students in this district have a two-week 'Winter break' commencing on Monday, Christmas Day. Perhaps beginning on Saturday, December 23, I may see how I fare doing day walks.
Or not. You see, I have certain boots that I am seeking to wear out that are too far gone for me to care to be seen out in them during the daytime, so these wee a.m. hours are the only time suitable for their wear.
Night a.m. hours allow me to exercise at the elementary school ─ I cannot even do that in the evening with any certainty of privacy.
Blazes, I don't know what to do!
