πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠ Boxing Day 2023

How I managed last night's walk is nearly beyond my understanding. I was staggering with both weariness and drunkenness. I had even taken some Sambuca with me, but I did not start swilling any of it until I was maybe 1½ miles from home during my return ─ I was putting in at least 5½ miles.

I had even trekked through the worst of Whalley, but fortunately it was so darned deep into the night that the usual denizens of the street were not to be seen. In all my walking, I only saw one who was likely such.

Thankfully I did not cross paths with any 'ladies of the night' ─ there was no reason (or rationale) in my thinking any longer, so I do not know how any encounter with one could have possibly had a favourable outcome for me.

I cannot even remember what time it was that I finally left home on that venture without first having benefited from even the briefest lie-down after my younger brother retired to his bedroom for the night; nor do I know when I got back, but I believe that it was well ahead of 4 a.m.

And when did I finally get to bed? Was it nearing 5 a.m.? I do not recall.

But it was approaching 9:30 a.m. when I did later check the time once I recognized that it was so light outside that my brother was surely up and watching T.V.

He was indeed doing so, I was to find ─ his girlfriend Bev would be needing her ride to work that he would be leaving here around 10:10 - 10:15 a.m. to provide her. By then we had almost finished watching the 2¼-hour (2:17:18) video we had left from due to want of time back on Christmas Eve morning, if I am recollecting correctly.

It was an ambitious feature that had been added on December 23 to Rumble's Stopthe Crime channel: The Primordial Code -Documentary.

What if you visit a place where you’re confronted with our history that turns out to be much different than the one you were always led to believe? How a false narrative has managed to keep the whole foundation of our being in its grip by shifting reality into myths. A story of how oppression and fear have kept us from developing our primal forces for thousands of years, which are now being reclaimed worldwide. Because it's just in our human DNA and it's easier to reclaim than once thought.
Marijn Poels, https://www.marijnpoels.com/, who has done a trilogy on the "climate change narrative," as well as one on the plandemic. His latest film is The Primordial Code.

The documentary sought to cover an assortment of possibly related topics. Tragically, though, I might estimate that 25% of it was neither in English nor with English subtitling, so whatever principles and thoughts were being expressed will be lost to the majority of viewers.

For that reason, I cannot give the video a 'like' at Rumble.

Anyway, while my brother was away on his Bev errand, I managed to bring myself to finally tackle some pull-ups and chin-ups out in the backyard shed after missing out on any exercising at all over the previous two days.

Already my shoulders and upper arms have begun to stiffen from disuse. I could only bear the painful unfamiliarity to achieve three pull-ups in the opening set, and then two in the second set. That was followed by three and then two chin-ups in the next two sets. And I finished with two pull-ups between two bars in the final two sets, and I held the last pull-up at peak elevation for a 20-count.

Then I performed 13 slow full-range push-ups on the wooden floor.

After my brother had returned and we finished watching the last bit of documentary, I tuned in the latest video at both YouTube's Redacted channel and at Rumble's ProgressiveTruthSeekers channel.

I finished us off with a half hour (28:48) biography that had been uploaded back on February 24, 2013, to YouTube's The Best Film Archives channel: Dwight D. Eisenhower - General of the US Army | Biography Documentary.

A filmed biography of Dwight D. Eisenhower, General of the US Army. It traces Eisenhower's military career from West Point till 1945 - does not cover his service as president of the United States.

Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower (October 14, 1890 - March 28, 1969) was a five-star general in the United States Army and served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe from 1943 till 1945. He was responsible for planning and supervising the invasion of North Africa in Operation Torch in 1942 - 43 and the successful invasion of France and Germany in 1944 - 45. On January 20, 1953 he became the 34th President of the United States.

About the grade of General of the Army:
General of the Army is a five-star general officer and the highest possible rank in the United States Army. A General of the Army ranks immediately above a general and is equivalent to a fleet admiral and a General of the Air Force. There is no established equivalent five-star rank in the other federal uniformed services. Often called a "five-star general", the rank of General of the Army has historically been reserved for wartime use and is not currently active in the U.S. military.

A special rank of General of the Armies, which ranks above General of the Army, exists but has been conferred only twice, to General John J. Pershing and posthumously to George Washington.

My brother then retired to his bedroom for some rest, whereas I dined on some of the Christmas Eve turkey feast leftovers; and then I shut myself up in my bedroom and began to stray. I heard my brother leave for the day to socialize. And then a while later, I recognized what could only be my wife coming into the house.

That cued me to properly seek a much needed nap.

It was around 3 p.m. when I finished, although I could have used more sleep. My wife was downstairs at the dining table, and beseeched me for use of my credit card to place some sort of Thailand order that she said would come to approximately CAD $52. Since I had not gotten her anything for Christmas, I felt as if this was the very least that I could do for her.

The dear girl had cooked up a stir fry for everyone; and then maybe around 4:40 p.m., she left us, saying that she would be back sometime tomorrow. And by the end of the afternoon, my misdeed was accomplished. At least the maddening pressure is now removed for the next few days.

Some poor excuse. I wish that I could have endured.

oooooooooooooo

With some joy after I first had reluctantly turned on the stereo today, not wanting in the least to hear the radio station's resumption of its normal musical fare after more than a month of all-Christmas music, I was greeted with ... Christmas music!

And then I had it dawn upon me that ─ even though Christmas now seems more distantly behind than this ─ today is only Boxing Day, and the station does devote the day as an extra one to Christmas music.

That took place midday after my brother and I had finished watching our videos.

But the music failed to keep me on the 'strait and narrow', as already admitted. I had almost tuned in a Christmas movie to try and salvage me a while after my wife left.

Maybe I should have tried harder to do that.

I did do so in the earliest evening, however ─ 2017's A Joyous Christmas. During it I had a light supper, two cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol), and a shot of Kraken Black Spiced Rum (47% alcohol).

I have become a fan of that rum.

I should here mention that in the latter morning, I spiced my second mug of coffee with Sambuca.

Anyway, this was a good movie, if formulaic.

I am quite certain that I am not familiar with lead actress Natalia Knapp, but she looks so darned much like some actress whom I am familiar with, but cannot identify. And does she ever fill out a pair of tight denims!!

Let me know if you would like to have an online link to the movie. I have no time now to research it.

I wanted to have a little more to drink, but this is bath day, and the movie ended around 8 p.m. It had already been resolved that I would be rising at 1:30 a.m. to ready for one of my five-mile+ walks, so I needed to get the bath out of the way before my brother showed up.

Well, I did have the bath; but I emerged from the bathroom to find him already home at 8:44 p.m. at latest. To my relief, he was passed out in front of the T.V. ─ I was able to secure myself in my bedroom to complete this post.

He has since revived.

It is already past 9:30 p.m. at present ─ I must conclude this post and soon get to bed.
