The day has not been disastrous, but maybe the most of it was.
After my last writings, around 5:15 a.m. my emotion and anxiety led me to play (via the commercial-free StreamTube app that I have downloaded in our Android TV Box) a stream of Christmas music videos to which I poured a big shot of Kraken Black Spiced Rum (47% alcohol) that I thereafter followed up with another.
Time ran away to some degree, and it was after 6 a.m. by the time I left to supposedly embark upon a grocery shopping expedition. I could not resist stopping at the elementary school playground three or four blocks from here to see how I might fare with some pull-ups ─ I thought maybe three sets, but there was some fool South Asian wandering around in the dark talking in his language on his cellphone.
So I determined just one set ... and surprised myself with a possible six pull-ups barehanded despite the metal bar being wet from rain and / or condensation. Probably I weighed 190 pounds easily at that point.
Then I checked the time as I was on my way ─ it was already 6:32 a.m. This was ludicrous! I deemed it far to late for a five-mile+ hike even on a Sunday morning.
So defeated, I returned home.
I was never to resume sleep ─ I did lie down, but my younger brother rose especially early. He was up by possibly 7 a.m.
So I waited a half hour at most while he finished the Sunday morning edition of The Province that I subscribe to, then he turned on the T.V.
Since I had failed to find sleep, I joined him. And soon we began watching videos on T.V. via our Android TV Box.
I led us off with a wonderful 42½-minute (42:35) addition yesterday to Rumble's AKStraightSpeaks channel: My TV Station Fired Me for Telling the Truth! Jimmy Dore interviews me.
The thumbnail says it all!!
A huge thank you to Stef, Mischa and the fabulous Jimmy Dore. Incredible to on your show!
I love Anita Krishna!
I next tuned in a 2023 documentary well over an hour in length (1:11:56) on Rumble that I likely would have given up on (I know nothing of finance nor economics): The Great Taking - Documentary.
David Webb exposes the system the Central Bankers have in place to take everything from everyone.
But it finally became far more real and was worth sitting through.
I won't bother mentioning anything else. Suffice to say that my brother and I did not break until early into the noon hour. I had early on spiked a coffee with some booze, but I behaved thereafter and felt quite sober by the time we broke.
My brother sought some bed rest, and I had my day's first meal and then pursued a much needed nap.
I succeeded to considerable degree, waking to find that he had left for the day. I think that it was already after 3 p.m.
I bided time until deciding that with the nearest government liquor store two miles distant closing at 6 p.m. ─ and me with only five cans of Cariboo Malt in my supply ─ I needed to make the hike for another dozen.
I left afoot just ahead of 5 p.m., and completed that errand.
The weather was mild, and dry. No one was home when I left, but one of my stepsons was home at my return.
I determined that I needed to fire up all of our Christmas lights, and then tune in a Christmas movie to start drinking to. My selection was to be 2017's A Very Country Christmas.
I had my doubts about the movie because although I did well visually recognize the lead actor whose character the movie centred around, his name is unknown to me and I am not anything like a fan.
So maybe lead actress Bea Santos would pay off? Well, she certainly did ─ scrawny as she was. But a huge part of the story draw was the bonding of her daughter and the main male character (as played by Greyston Holt). Honestly, I felt that Greyston was stretching to seem natural until he began acting with the young actress (Raven Stewart?) portraying Bea Santos's daughter. That was probably when I truly began to like his character.
I downed either three or four cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol), and have only broke from the drinking to hurry through this post. It is presently 9:15 p.m., and my brother has yet to show.
Should you wish to sample the movie, I m only going to take the effort to suggest this source at Upmovies.to.
I have no idea what is in store for my evening, but I do not intend to go anywhere unless my brother fails to appear soon and I become stupidly drink and restless.
I am not going to proofread this post.
