A Needed Financial Transfusion

I believe that I was likely to bed last evening before 10:30 p.m., with my cellphone alarm set for 4 a.m. Certainly I woke betimes, for I tend to only sleep in blocks; but I remained in bed until my alarm chimed to get me up to leisurely pass time while enjoying a hot mug of instant coffee with the works.

I was to find that my youngest stepson was still up, seated at his computer in the lads' den area and communicating with someone.

I only had $25 that I dared to spend, for as yet neither of my two stepsons had contributed to next Thursday's mortgage; and if that remained so, then I would need to deposit the two $50 bills (that I also have on hand) in order to cover the mortgage shortfall in my account that a bank debits the bi-weekly mortgage from.

My plan this morning was to make the 5.625-mile round trip hike to Real Canadian Superstore where I would buy two one-litre cartons of Dairyland whipping cream for my coffees; I was to also buy a litre of an 18% butterfat coffee creamer for the household.

There was always the chance that the whipping cream had not been stocked ─ sometimes I have found none at that store. In that case, I would not have shopped; and this evening I would have bought a litre of the whipping cream elsewhere. It would be more expensive, so I would only have bought a one-litre carton.

It was 5:58 a.m. when I left home. I had seen online that the temperature hereabouts was not much above freezing, so I had opted to wear a heavier jacket that I almost immediately found was keeping me overwarm, so I was not going to push my pace.

I had considered three token sets of pull-ups and chin-ups at the nearby elementary school playground, but I did not care to risk overheating; but also, at this time of morning I would be running the risk of encountering someone walking their (probably) large loose dog. Signs prohibit dogs in that area, but no one with a dog seems to care.

There was something missing in me ─ I had no pep, and I seemed to be breathing harder than is normal. I actually felt as if I had not gotten sufficient sleep, and my eyes were reflecting that shortfall.

This was never to change. I felt depleted.

It was no help that by the time I got to the store just as its doors were being opened to the public at 7 a.m., it was already daylit despite mainly overcast sky. This was to be unpleasant in another sense because with the daylight, more people are out walking about.

People and street traffic are why I tend to be an early a.m. night walker.

I was to get all three litres of cream, but the bill came to something under $18, leaving me with just $5 in cash. I still intend to get out on a walk this evening so that I can sit up late and watch some of our shows with my younger brother, and also have a couple of cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol). Walking this evening will spare me from having to get up in the weest a.m. to put in the walk.

Anyway, I got back home to find that my brother was already up and reading the Sunday morning edition of The Province that I subscribe to. After I had refrigerated the cream and then gone to my bedroom to change clothes and unwind, I was soon overcome with the desire to lie down and seek some sleep.

But then just past 8:30 a.m., my brother turned on the T.V. Even so, I was too far gone to be able to join him, so I just lay back across the edge of my bed with my feet on the floor, and I rested as best I could until within 10 minutes of the arrival of 9 a.m.

Then grudgingly, I went downstairs for my day's second instant coffee, and then joined my brother for some T.V.

He quickly invited me to begin operating our Android TV Box, so I tuned in a video nearly 1¼ hours long (1:11:13) that had been added on February 13 to Rumble's Unscrew the News channel: Dr. Hodkinson/Dr. Makis | Are All The Good Docs Destined For Reeducation Camps.

Dr. Hodkinson and Dr. Makis joined me for a rousing discussion about the corrupt enterprise know as the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta. Most of the public do not understand the inner workings of this privately run "authority" over the doctors of our province.
Who knew that the governing body that is meant to protect the voting public, from faulty or poor medicine, would not be accountable to Albertans?
If they are not protecting Albertans from doctors, what is their role?
Is such a tyrannical governing body needed?
We discuss this and much much more in this hour long meeting, plus talk about Alberta sovereignty and our leadership.

It was a very interesting and entertaining interview.

We were to only watch one further video, and which was considerably longer (1:23:58). It had been added to BitChute's Mercola channel on February 14: Important Legal Wins by the Informed Consent Action Network - Interview with Del Bigtree.

Del Bigtree, founder of “The Highwire” and the Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN.org), shares some of the recent lawsuits ICAN has won against the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In 2023, ICAN won back the religious exemption from vaccinations in Mississippi that had been gone since 1979. It was the first state in the union to lose the ability to opt out. In 2023, Mississippians regained that choice.

COVID forced courts to take a stand on religious rights. Churches were shut down during the pandemic while big box stores, liquor stores and even strip clubs were allowed to remain open. Court cases ensued, in which the courts concluded that wherever there is a secular right, there must also be a religious right.

ICAN mirrored that argument in its Mississippi case and pointed to the medical exemption. If people have the right to opt out of a vaccine program for medical reasons (which is a secular reason), then people must also have the right to opt out for religious reasons.

In a project called “Free the Five,” ICAN is now working to regain the religious exemption to vaccination in Connecticut, New York, California, West Virginia and Maine as well.

ICAN has also won cases against the U.S. Air Force and Army on behalf of soldiers who were being kicked out for refusing the COVID shot. They also won a big case against airlines that were mandating mask wearing. Several precedences have now been set, which will make it all the more difficult for government to replicate what they did during the COVID pandemic.

ICAN also sued the FDA to release the data from the trials of the Moderna and Pfizer COVID shots, as well as the CDC, which was refusing to release its V-Safe data. All of that is now coming out, showing just how dangerous the COVID shots are.

This brought us nigh to noon, so my brother sought some bed rest. I had a meal, and then was into bed for that needed nap. My brother was gone for the day when I rose shortly after 2 p.m.

With a mere $5 ... wait!

I have just checked my account online that the mortgage is due to be debited from next Thursday, and I see that one of my stepsons has transferred $300 to the account ─ possibly it was both of my stepsons, if there was a collaboration in the contribution.

So now I am able to do a little extra grocery shopping. As a result, this evening as I am returning from a five-mile+ walk, I will stop in at Save-On-Foods approximately a mile from here and buy several items.

I shall need to rest up before undertaking this venture, so I am going to close this post here. Tomorrow's post will have to bear the update on how my evening ahead goes.

Right now it is a little past 5:15 p.m., so I am going to lie down and rest awhile.

But perhaps I will suspend publication of this post until after my return. If I say nothing further, it will be due to finding my brother home from his daily socializing, leaving me no time for further commentary.
