My five-mile+ walk last evening was perfectly dry, and I found the temperature milder than I had anticipated. Other than that, I cannot recall anything significant worth mentioning.
I had left around 8:25 p.m., so I was probably back around 8:15 p.m. or soon thereafter.
My brother was already home and passed out in front of the T.V., so I took my time changing here in my bedroom before eventually going downstairs to round up some supper and join him ─ he had revived by then, but was clearly of befuddled wits for he presented the conclusion that I must not be intending an evening walk.
Clearly, he remembered nothing of arriving home and finding me absent, so I did not bother with a correction.
I was to use our Android TV Box to fetch an episode each of two of the T.V. series we follow.
First was Doc Martin ─ episode two ("Uneasy Lies the Head") of series or season four. Unfortunately I missed the very beginning because ─ as a result of having a look at Facebook before coming downstairs to have some supper and join my brother ─ I had seen a video at my wife's account of her cutting a birthday cake ... and then I realized for the first time that the day had been her birthday and I had said nothing to her throughout.
So at the commencement of the Doc Martin episode it had dawned upon me that I could somewhat salvage this fiasco because I did have a bottle of red wine tucked away that was all decked up with a fancy red ribbon and had probably originally been targeted for customers as a Christmas gift by the producers.
So I got busy ferreting out this special bottle and then leaving it on my wife's bed for her as a feeble surprise once she was home from work.
And when she did later show up, and my brother and I greeted her as she entered the house, my salute was a soft, "Hello there, birthday girl."
Or something like that.
I have no money for a birthday present even had I remembered it this week.
As for the T.V. show, I am constantly struck by how naturally beautiful now-pregnant character Louisa (actress Caroline Catz) is. The woman is just exceptional!
We were to watch just one other show ─ A Touch of Frost. This time it was episode two ("One Man's Meat") of season or series six. My brother sank into unconsciousness at least a couple of times during the show.
During it, my wife had asked me for a can of the beer I have in stock ─ Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol), for she did not wish to embark upon a full bottle of wine.
Over the evening I had drank two cans of the beer, and then my wife turned over the remaining half of the beer she had, so I finished that.
After my brother went to his bedroom for the night at maybe around 1:30 a.m., I sat up here at my computer quite some while more.
I am unsure when I began my morning, but it was well ahead of 8:30 a.m. ─ probably nearer 8 a.m.
When my brother and I got together shortly past 9 a.m. for our usual morning T.V., I again put our Android TV Box to work and led us off with a hilarious JP Sears video uploaded to his Rumble channel on February 17: My Girlfriend is Trans But I'm Not Gay. I don't know what's amiss with my brother, but it was only at the video's conclusion that he actually queried me as to whether it might be a spoof ─ he had been accepting that it was a genuine disgusting couple!
Next I tuned in a very excellent 1½-hour interview uploaded on January 16 to YouTube's Howie Mandel Does Stuff channel: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. | Howie Mandel Does Stuff #156.
Robert Francis Kennedy Jr., also known by his initials as RFK Jr. and the nickname Bobby, is an American politician, environmental lawyer running for president of the United States of America in 2024.
There were times when I was getting furious with the stupidity of Howie and his daughter, but at least the interview finished well.
We will have to finish the third video tomorrow morning, for it was running far too deep into the noon hour. It had been added this morning to Rumble's A Warrior Calls channel: Murder Rape Coverup Highest Levels RCMP/Attorney Generals Retired Officer Blows Whistle.
Thursday, February 22, 2024 Live Stream
Don Matheson https://wakeupcanada.info/
I do not exactly understand how it is that a video being published today can be termed a live stream from the day before. Does a live stream no longer deserve that description after it is no longer live? Does it not just become a recorded video?
My brother sought bed rest. I had a fairly quick first meal of the day and was thereafter into my bed well before 1:30 p.m. for a needed nap before he emerged from his bedroom and left for the day to socialize.
I was also to bed before my wife had risen and emerged from her bedroom. I had my darned needed nap and thereafter found myself feeling very ill rested, and rose with great surprise to find that it was nearing 4 p.m. ─ my wife was long gone, for she was to have to start working in the latter afternoon.
I found a text from her sent to me at 3:21 p.m. (I usually keep my cellphone out of my bedroom when I am having a nap), asking that I phone her. So I did that, and we worked out her problem. She had almost solved it on her own.
It has been another dry day, so I expect that my wee a.m. walk tonight is going to finally see me able to have some exercise at the nearby elementary school playground. I did have some similar exercise out in the backyard tool shed this morning after my brother left around 10:10 a.m. for 20 minutes to pick up his girlfriend Bev and drive her to work.
I got a late start this early evening on my Sabbath fast, and was still finishing up my eating by the time it was growing dark. I will atone by not eating tomorrow until well past nightfall.
There was a hankering for some drink, but I did abstain. And so I dryly watched an episode of Cybill ─ episode 18 ("True Confessions") of season three. My small fix of Alicia Witt.
It is already 8:50 p.m., so I am going to consider this post complete and get it published. I will not be up for much longer ─ 1:30 a.m. comes early.
