Shame, and More Shame

Yesterday's post was published before my recurring descent into depravity. I was not to retire for good last night until something like 11:44 p.m., so most clearly there was no sense keeping my cellphone alarm set for 1:30 a.m. to get me up for any long walk.

Sure, I could have risen farther into the wee a.m., but my spirit was crushed. I did not wish to be aware ─ I wanted the eclipse of consciousness that sleep would bring.

I was to remain abed for no less than eight hours.

I want to mention here that on this date in 1983 ─ a Thursday ─ I received a phone call around 6:40 p.m. from a doctor (I believe) at Vancouver General Hospital. He called to let me know that my father had been brought in after incurring a cardiac event at the Kingsgate Mall, and was dead on arrival.

He had gotten married on Christmas Eve, and had just had his 62nd birthday on February 2nd.

The occasion of this day had slipped my mind this morning, so I did not think to remind my younger brother of it when we were watching some T.V.

Via our Android TV Box, I had led us off with Odessa Orlewicz's 1½-hour (1:29:43) effort from Thursday: Healthcare Leaders Pedo Ring Cover Up In Alberta & BC Canada?? Interview.

According to Dr. Makis- 3 separate high ranking healthcare leaders (head of pediatrics etc) were caught trying to traffic young children for sex and child porn. RCMP busted them, they were charged, but high ranking officials did everything they could to keep them out of jail, and continued to give them their HUGE paycheques. The Doctors College even went so far as to keep these doctors licenses untarnished. WHY???? What is the reason? I interview Dr. Makis about the ins and outs of these cases under the NDP government, Bonnie Henry, and Rachel Notley. Dr. Makis also updates us on the latest died suddenly's and all cause mortality uptick.

My brother had to leave at 10:10 a.m. to pick up his girlfriend Bev and drive her to work, so I suspended the remainder of the video until his return. Meantime, I had some exercise out in the backyard tool shed.

Ted Kuntz, President of Vaccine Choice Canada, joins Tanya Gaw, Founder of Action4Canada, to discuss their Covid-related legal actions. They provide an update on their cases as well as discuss several of the wins that were achieved early on as a result of filing their Notices of Civil Claim.
In addition, Tanya and Ted will also expose and provide evidence of a small group of individuals who have spent three and a half years undertaking a military style smear campaign against their attorney, Rocco Galati, as well as Action4Canada and Vaccine Choice Canada. Their voracity raises the question as to whether or not these individuals are in it for personal gain or if they are possibly paid agitators.

We only had time to watch approximately half of the video, cancelling out early into the noon hour. We will finish it tomorrow.

It was not lost on my brother as well as myself that Christopher James Pritchard (A Warrior Calls) seems to have leagued himself with those forces determined to discredit and malign Rocco Galati and his court-based legal activities.

Christopher can be disappointingly blinkered and gullible.

After we broke from the video, my brother sought bed rest before leaving for the day to socialize. Fortunately I was on my Sabbath fast, so I did not delay in seeking my needed nap ─ I did so just after my wife had emerged for the day from her bedroom and entered the bathroom.

I easily spent over two hours in bed, so clearly I have been needing to gain in my sleep. My brother was of course gone when I rose.

When I was about to go out to the backyard tool shed earlier for some exercise, I had to weigh myself a couple of times after getting my first reading, because it did not seem possible for me to have read it right: 179 pounds. I was in a pair of runners, jeans, and a couple of tops, albeit no jacket.

Well, just now I tested myself against that amazingly low register. I stripped down naked ... and at very most I weighed 172 pounds.

This just does not seem possible.

I am inspired to get out for an evening walk that would see me deposit my brother's monthly expenses reconciliation cheque ($229.58) given to me eight days ago. I intend to put in the usual five-mile+ hike, and do a little grocery shopping on the return when I am about a mile from home.

I will sup first, though.

My wife was good company before she left for work (the Thai restaurant reopens daily at 4:30 p.m. after its usual 3 p.m. closure), and she even phoned me twice after she had gone. However, I am not expecting her home tonight.

I managed to squeeze in an episode of Batwoman in the late afternoon / early evening as I awaited darkness and my green light to feed. As much as that series has disappointed, this episode was promising ─ season two's episode 16 ("Rebirth"). I just wish all of this overarching Gayness wasn't so dominant in the series ─ it's as if the producers think half the population of the planet is Gay. Or maybe they all are?

I like what I see of Wallis Day (as the resurrected Kate Kane). But if the character is going to turn out to be as every bit Gay as she was when Ruby Rose had the role, then my liking is going to wither.

Also, I do hope that the conversion to 'good' that actress Rachel Skarsten's character (Alice / Beth Kane) may be undergoing really starts blooming or flourishing ─ I want to like her, but do not.

It is presently approaching 7 p.m., so I am going to ready for my outing. The basis of my supper were the two slices of pizza that my youngest stepson gave me yesterday after my fast had begun. And I topped off my supper with a mug of hot instant coffee (two teaspoons) with the works in order to best 'energize' me for this venture.
