Evidently my younger brother was up this morning before I was, but Bev ─ newly moved in here early last evening ─ never emerged for the day until around the noon hour. After he and I had watched some morning T.V., late in the morning he opted to get some bed rest by using the chesterfield, while I returned to my bedroom for a proper nap.
I heard her rousing and moving about as I settled into bed, so good luck to my brother with that rest he was after.
Incidentally, our morning entertainment together included two of the most recent videos uploaded to YouTube's AnitaK channel:
- Canada’s Flag Turns 60...1965 to 2025, a look at then and now... (8:32) Uploaded February 15
On February 15, 1965, Canada raised the Maple Leaf flag for the first time, marking a new chapter in the nation’s identity. Now, in 2025, we reflect on 60 years of history—how has our connection to the flag changed? Do Canadians still feel the same pride, or has the meaning of the flag evolved over time?
- The Judge Ain't Bad in the JCCF Prorogation Challenge. (13:56) Uploaded February 15
Juno Article:
https://www.junonews.com/p/federal-co... The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) has launched a legal challenge over the prorogation of Parliament—but what makes this case stand out? Unlike many politically charged hearings, Judge Paul Crompton has shown a refreshingly fair and unbiased approach in court. Surprisingly, he was appointed by former Prime Minister Stephen Harper, adding an interesting layer to the discussion.
Then I tuned in a nearly 1½-hour (1:25:45) video streamed February 12 to Rumble's Kim Iversen channel: Ivermectin: The Hidden Treatment for Cancer They Don't Want You to Know About.

Quite early in the afternoon my brother drove off, saying he would be back "shortly". As I suspected, he had visited the liquor store to buy himself more beer, and maybe a box of white wine for Bev.
And then he did what I feared he would. He left on foot to catch a bus so that he could commence his usual daily social drinking, and left Bev here on her own to watch T.V. until he returned ─ whenever that might be.
Shortly after he left, my wife finally came home. She was to air it out with Bev that Bev ought to be sharing my brother's bedroom, and that my wife's son expected to have his brother's former sleeping area.
Bev, I am sure, was uncomfortable with the conversation, but she expressed that it had been her belief as well that she was going to share my brother's bedroom ─ she had no idea that she would be relegated virtually to the basement area of the house.
Bev remained in the living room watching T.V. all by herself, for it is not my duty to forsake my computer time henceforth to keep her company by watching T.V. all each afternoon just because my brother needs to go out drinking every bloody day.
Truly, she must be feeling quite uncomfortable, not wanting to prepare anything to eat in the kitchen, or whatever ese she would have done at her own home to pass her day.
I am contemplating getting out this evening to see if I can handle the 5.625-mile round trip hike to Real Canadian Superstore to do some shopping. My bad left foot (plantar fasciitis, perhaps, since November 27 or so) had been feeling pretty darned good, but after helping with moving Bev's stuff around two days this week, it was fairly tender last evening. Yet today it seems to have recovered again.
I might as well just publish this post. To go out this evening will most likely spell that I shall have to thereafter sit up late watching T.V. again and drinking some of my beer, for surely by the time I would be back from that hike after better than two hours, my brother would have returned home.
I do not wish to leave here too early in the evening ─ I want the traffic to die down somewhat. It would be nice to leave around 8 p.m.
We shall see. Right now it is 6:27 p.m., and I am about to publish this post.
