Another failure last night to behave and get to bed honourably. I now have no idea when it was that I did make my way to bed, but it surely must have been around 1:30 a.m.
My cellphone alarm was set for 7 a.m.
When that hour arrived, I of course felt short on sleep, but I have felt worse even when I have had more time in bed. Nonetheless, my morale was bad as soon as full consciousness made me aware of my misconduct last night.
When I was to venture out to the backyard tool shed for the token six sets pull-ups and chin-ups of a single repetition in each set, they were unnaturally difficult. Am I gaining weight?
Whatever was going on, I did take the time to use the two hanging ladder apparatus to have four attempts at supporting my weight on my bent right leg alone ─ I cannot imagine when I will ever manage it without using my hands and arms to assist in bearing the load. Notwithstanding, I kept the pressure on the bent leg each of the four times for a 40-count.
Then I had the usual 31 full flat-footed squats, holding the very last full squat for a 100-count before rising again.
My younger brother was tardy in emerging from his bedroom this morning ─ he had sat up late last night, not going to bed much before I finally did. It may have been around 9:45 a.m. before he came downstairs this morning.
I was by then all set to play a pair of videos uploaded to YouTube's AnitaK channel:
• ‘We’ll Fight for Your Auto Jobs’ — While We Keep Losing Them" October 21, 2025 (10:57)
Professor Ian Lee - shorter interview

• Dead Silence. Watch what happens when she’s asked about ostrich cull. October 22, 2025 (8:07)
Watch how Canada's Health Minister Marjorie Michel, flat out refuses to answer questions related to the Ostrich cull.
Prior to my brother joining me, I had watched another short video relating to Universal Ostrich Farms. At five minutes (5:15), it had been uploaded yesterday to YouTube's Krayden's Right with David Krayden channel: Ostrich Farm Supporter Overcome with Emotion Over Injustice to Family Farm.
Blake Roberts is overcome with emotion as he talks about the Liberal government's invasion and occupation of Universal Ostrich Farms. Blake shot the incredible video at the gravel pit.

Blake Roberts's recent video is going viral, making waves across multiple social media platforms. This is a critical current affairs story highlighting government over reach and seizure of 2 family farms and a gravel pit in British Columbia.
We were to only watch one further video, for it was 1½ hours (1:32:34); it had been published yesterday to Rumble's Tucker Carlson channel: Tucker and MTG on the 5 Pillars of MAGA and the Snakes in Washington Trying to Tear Them Down.
Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham and Mark Levin have declared themselves the heirs of MAGA. Before Wikipedia erases the recent past and people start to believe this, a reality check with MTG.
I adore Marjorie Taylor Greene; I'm pleased that my brother seems to appreciate her as well.
After my brother returned to his bedroom for further bed rest around 11:30 a.m., I fixed up my day's first meal and then ate it here at my bedside computer.
It was probably around 1:30 p.m. when I got back to bed for a needed nap ─ deep, but not long. I may have been abed for an hour or little more.
The day has been primarily overcast; if I am recollecting correctly, the street outside seemed wet with prior rain early this morning when I had risen.
As I worked at blogging this afternoon, I was surprised to hear my wife's voice downstairs. She hadn't come home last night nor the night before.
This was to signify that I would not be having my usual latter afternoon light exercise session in her bedroom.
She was to request me to purchase her three different nutritional supplements the next time I visited the nearby pharmacy, for she has been rather badly ill with some bug for several days. I decided that I could probably remedy that request with my own supply, for I have no shopping plans prior to the weekend.
So now she has some vitamin B1 as a component of a large bottle of vitamin B100 that I turned over to her. I also shared with her the vitamin D3 I am presently taking (2,500 I.U.s). And I had a spare bottle of magnesium citrate that I also gave her.
My midday meal has me feeling still rather nicely fed as I type these words at 6:05 p.m., but my wife had said that she was to be cooking up a chicken supper. The chicken will definitely be welcome if it is fried or baked, and not one of her stews or soups.
I plan on getting up at 3 a.m. for the ¾-mile round trip hobble over to the nearby elementary school playground for some exercising overnight, so this shall not be a late evening for me.
But I am here going to take a break from this post.
⭕⭕⭕
Well ... bummer.
I watched Too Close to Home ─ the season eight and series finale episode ("Blurred Lines"), and absolutely none of the storylines were resolved. Absolutely nothing.
At least I was exposed to some extremely lovely actresses.
For the episode I had my pick of a couple of sources: this CineGo.co link and this CineGo.tv link. Both seemed very good, but the various sources' volume was just a tad low, mainly.
Too early for bed, but pushing matters, I tuned in A Gifted Man ─ episode three ("In Case of Discomfort") of the first and only season.
This is a good series ─ even after three episodes I cannot imagine why it never developed a sufficient fan base. It touches me.
Anyway, my source was this CineGo.tv link.
I had a little beer left over from that first can when I began the episode, so I finished that and then a shot of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum. But even that was insufficient, so I capped things with a half glass tumbler of Domaine D'Or red wine.
I actually offered my wife some of the wine if she was interested ─ she was shut up in her bedroom with the door barely ajar while sitting out of sight on the floor and probably watching something on her smartphone or tablet; but she declined.
Good girl. She probably has a full workday tomorrow. And she is still recovering from something that had her feeling unwell.
I am going to quit and publish this post now so that I can get to bed for my 3 a.m. rising. I'm hoping that instead of a second tallboy (16 ozs) of Cariboo Malt, the smaller volume of spiced rum and red wine will not cause adverse need for nocturnal micturition ─ I want as full sleep as I can get.
'Tis 9:52 p.m.
