Unpacking the Lies

My morning alarm was set for 7 a.m., so that was when I reluctantly rose. The latter few hours of my sleep had not been particularly good, and that can be most annoying.

I decided to water the front yard garden flowers that are permanently sheltered from rain by the overhanging eaves on each side of our open-sided carport. I was to find it lightly raining as was, but as said, the rain never reaches those plants unless there is an attendant wind driving the rain.

With that done, I went out to the backyard tool shed for some token exercise. An opening set of pull-ups involved two repetitions; but that was followed by a set comprised of just one pull-up. I also had a single chin-up in each of two sets, and well as a single pull-up between two bars in the final two sets, but I held the dead hang of the last pull-up for a 60-count.

Those were then followed by the 31 squats to work my crippled right knee after I had made four attempts of possibly as much as a 20-count of supporting myself on my partially crooked leg while seeking to bear my body weight in that posture. I cannot do it without using my hands to grip support and thus lighten the burden on my lower quadriceps that may be suffering cortical inhibition after my March 1st accident, but I am hoping that this pressure on the atrophied area is going to gain me as much normalization in due time as may be possible. I just must be regular at it ─ i.e., once or twice a day.

But is that enough?

Anyway, I came into the house to find my younger brother already downstairs and watching T.V. news.

Regardless, I came here upstairs to my bedside computer and waited until after 9 a.m. before going back downstairs to join him.

By then he had watched his fill of repetitive news, so he turned the T.V. over to me so that I could operate our Android TV Box.

My first choice was a five-minute (5:24) video published earlier today to BitChute's Truth Provider channel: Canada Faces Police State by Christmas if Bills C-2, C-8, C-9 Pass, Warns John Carpay.

(mirrored, link below). An important video by John Carpay: “Canada will be a police state by Christmas if Parliament passes bills C-2, C-8, and C-9 in their current form. Our freedoms are fragile – it is imperative that every Canadian contact their Member of Parliament, whether your MP is Liberal, Conservative, NDP, Bloc or Green.”

Then came a two-minute (2:41) video published yesterday to Rumble's Libertytalkcanada channel: CCP China Caught Infiltrating Canada Through Politicians & Elites In PEI (Quick Clip).

This is going viral on X and FB: Former National Director of the RCMP Garry Clement says CCP/PRC money laundering has led to the ELITE CAPTURE of Canada's Prince Edward Island politicians, at the highest levels in cahoots with a "buddhist monastery." Thank you Bruce McGonigal. (It's a quick clip while I work on another show.)

That was followed by a 22-minute (22:07) video uploaded two days ago to YouTube's Jasmin Laine channel: Room ERUPTS as Trump INTERRUPTS Carney—HUMILIATES Him in Front of Reporters.

Carney went to Washington to stand up for Canada… instead he praised Trump, got interrupted mid-speech, and even laughed as Trump joked about making us the 51st state. Today we break down how Canada’s PM went from ‘elbows-up’ to elbows-gone.

Our next video was nearly 1⅓ hours (1:19:04), and had been published October 6 to Rumble's WTFLouie channel: Unpacking The Lies We've Been Fed ITS A SCAM! 04-Oct-2025.

We finished our entertainment with the first half hour of an episode of an old T.V. series we follow, but I will speak of it in tomorrow's post if we complete watching it in the forenoon that day.

We broke from the episode so my brother could seek further bed rest ere busing away in the early afternoon to go social drinking. I fixed up my day's first meal and ate that here at my bedside computer before seeking a nap.

I was to discover after later rising that my wife had come home. And she remained home, evidently having the day off work (she had a dental appointment today).

That morning rain was to die off as the morning advanced; and by the earliest afternoon we were having a fair amount of sunshine.

With my wife home, there will be none of the usual light exercising that I have when her bedroom is available for it (mine is far too small and cluttered). But it has also been a bath day.

Right now it is 6:02 p.m., and I am fairly fresh from that bath. My wife cooked some manner of supper, so I am going to take advantage, and then I will try to watch a couple of shows here on my bedside computer and enjoy a couple of cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol) along with them.

The plan is to rise at 3 a.m. and make the ¾-mile round trip hobble over to the usual elementary school playground for some pull-ups and chin-ups there, so I will not be sitting up late.

Now I break for that surprise supper ─ I shall be back later this evening.

I tuned in The 100 ─ episode two ("Red Sun Rising") of season six. I truly got wrapped up in this one! I just wish that they would be done with the disgusting "Octavia" character and cease forcing us to perceive her in any redemptive fashion.

She's rotten and needs to go.

My source was this CineGo.tv link, but the video buffered at least three times in the show's late stages, pissing me right off.

I felt guilty shutting myself up into my bedroom to watch the episode while my poor wife was downstairs involved in the kitchen. Earlier she had made a huge pot of extremely nutritious soup thick with various vegetables, but I dare not consume much of a supper with a fluid-based foundation when I plan to be drinking beer, so I took very little of it.

I do not need to have to keep rising to urinate. It will be 3 a.m. soon enough, so I would prefer sleeping over having this sort of pressing urgency.

Anyway, The 100 episode probably ended no later than 7:45 p.m., by which time I think that my brother was downstairs watching T.V. with Bev.

My next show was every bit as involving ─ Titans. In this case, season one's episode eight ("Donna Troy").

Character Rachel's mother is portrayed by an actress I have appreciated in the past for her soft and natural beauty, but it has been years since I have seen her in anything. And I cannot recall anymore what series imprinted her within me, even though her name is oddly unknown to me (her name is Rachel Nichols).

All I could recall as I watched this episode was that whatever series it was, it had to be in a science fiction vein.

It is good to watch her again.

My source was this GOOJARA.to link

I think the show likely ended no later than 9 p.m. ─ too late to risk even a sitcom, especially since I would require something else to drink during it.

And now I must hustle to get to bed. I have not exchanged a word with my wife since the afternoon just before my bath. It is presently 10:03 p.m. as I start shutting things down here on my computer.
