As usual it was so damned difficult trying to sleep in the latter few hours prior to my 6:30 a.m. cellphone alarm as it rained overnight.
At rising I went downstairs and boiled water for a mug of strong hot coffee to enjoy following the swallowing of an aspirin, for I was intending some backyard tool shed exercising before my younger brother emerged from his bedroom for the morning.
Well, once again he thwarted me ─ he emerged at 7:16 a.m., the prick.
Nevertheless, I was morally prepared, and anon I did fare forth to the tool shed regardless.
This time I tackled the four sets of stationary one-legged squats straight off. I pair each set with a 40-count unassisted left leg stationary squat only using the two hanging ladder apparatus for balance when required; and a 50-count fully assisted right leg stationary squat to force my damaged quadriceps at the knee to develop.
Honestly, I don't know if it merely atrophied following that March 1st accident that left me disabled for so long, or if maybe muscle or ligament was detached and now is no longer part of the proper knee architecture.
I followed the four sets of stationary one-legged squats with the usual 31 unassisted full flat-footed squats, holding the last one in the full squat for a 100-count before rising.
Back in the house I spent some further time at my bedside computer before going downstairs to join my brother for some morning T.V. Maybe it was ... no, I can't remember if it was as early as 8:20 a.m. or 8:40 a.m.
Whatever the case, he was pretty much set to turn the T.V. over to me so that I could operate our Android TV Box.
The first video I selected exceeded 1½ hours (1:38:38) and had been streamed November 11 to YouTube's AnitaK channel: "Science vs Sanity: The Microbiologist Who Defends the Ostrich Cull" + Dr Byram Bridle.
Hundreds of ostriches were slaughtered in British Columbia under orders from the CFIA — but was it really necessary? In this livestream, I’m joined by a microbiologist who says yes — the cull had to happen. We’ll dive into the science, the policy, and the morality behind this decision. Was it about public safety… or control? Dr Byram Bridle joins us as well.
Our second and final video was even longer at 1:48:33, but 'Boresville'. It had been published on November 11 to Rumble's Libertytalkcanada channel: BC Is F*cked. New "Heritage Conservation Act" Additions To Paralyze Property Owners.
New Outlandish Powers Being Given To Indigenous To Paralyze Property Owners, Businesses, And Land Developers. This Is NOT About Title Issues- This Is Something Else. The NDP Strikes AGAIN!

My brother returned to his bedroom for further bed rest with maybe 20 or less minutes to the video remaining, so I shut it down. I don't know what the point of playing the unforgivably long (well over an hour) video of the panel of three lawyers was, but I had to fight falling asleep. These guys explained nothing ─ it was just like listening to three members of the same political party talking to the media / public about something.
Odessa can come up with some dreadfully dull shows.
After I shut it down, I forwent a meal and was also soon to bed for a nap. I knew that my brother was probably going to make a beer run when he rose, and I wanted to go along.
Well, I was a tad tardy in rousing and getting up from my nap. When I opened my bedroom door, I could hear him readying just inside the front door to leave, so I blew off the chance. My need for beer replenishment is not quite dire as yet.
The rain likely died down by maybe 3 p.m. By then my brother had already come home, and then left again to catch a bus so he could go social drinking.
Soon after mid-afternoon I had some light exercising in my wife's vacant bedroom (she never came home last night ─ the second consecutive, but that's quite normal); it included another of those four sets of stationary one-legged partial squats, this time with my pelvis pressed against a wall.
As the afternoon waned, off in the West I could see clear sky. I want to rise at 3 a.m. for some exercise at the nearby elementary school playground, so maybe there will not be any further rain between now and then.
Right now it is 5:08 p.m. and I am going to break from this post so I can try and watch a couple of shows here on my bedside computer while enjoying some beer, so I shall continue the remainder of the post later into the evening.
🞉🞉🞉🞉
My first selection was The 100 ─ episode four ("The Face Behind the Glass") of season six. My source was this RidoMovies.tv link.
As much as I despise character "Octavia", I appreciated her doing her best to save the life of young "Rose"; and now it looks as if she is going to ally with pregnant tough-as-nails "Diyoz" on a mission of complete vengeance against the rebels.
I believe the episode finished by 6:43 p.m., at which time it seemed like my brother must have already returned home ─ but it was my wife!
She invited me to help myself to something she had prepared in the kitchen, but mysteriously she then shut herself up into her bedroom. I think she actually retired ─ whether a badly needed nap, or if she was there for the night, I do not know.
Maybe too much extensive partying?
Regardless, I saw that the next show I had scheduled on my list was Titans, which I extremely enjoy thus far. This time it was episode 10 ("Koriand'r") of the first season. And my source was this RidoMovies.tv link.
I have to say that I am disgusted that they have made the sweet and loving mother of Goth-like "Rachel" into someone devoted to pure evil. I've always been drawn to lovely actress Rachel Nichols, and now I have to despise her character ─ and her, since she personifies the villainess.
I confess to being caught entirely off-guard that beautiful Black character red-headed "Kory" was going to turn out to be an alien woman with amnesia.
So two excellent shows this evening ─ awesome! And a pair of cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol).
My brother was home by the time Titans had ended.
Right now it is 8:42 p.m. and I am going to brush my teeth, finish and close up everything I've got going on here on my computer, and get to bed. I only had that very early mug of strong instant coffee today, so I have some hope of possibly sleeping better than usual.
