Redoubt

Another night that found trying to sleep in until my 5:45 a.m. cellphone alarm was a trial indeed. Of course I was not sleeping in ─ I just mean sleeping at all during those final few hours.

I had decided last night to set the alarm at 5:45 a.m. instead of 6 a.m. to best ensure that I would have sufficient time to normalize and be able to make the ½-mile walk to No Frills after its 8 a.m. opening.

All went as planned, for daylight revealed that although it was not raining, it was heavily overcast and everything was dripping wet from very recent rain. Only people with purpose would likely be abroad at that time of morning, so I knew I would have some degree of anonymity and privacy.

And my younger brother cooperated by not emerging from his bedroom before I was able to make my getaway. He was up and watching T.V. by the time I got back home, though.

I had forgotten a couple of items; but my dual load was so heavy that I was fortunate not to have remembered them, for together their weight would have had some significance.

After getting back and putting away my purchases and then dressing myself down in my bedroom, I joined my brother just ahead of 9 a.m. to await his invitation to put our Android TV Box to work.

The wait was maybe 10 minutes.

My first video choice was nigh 55 minutes and had just been streamed a little earlier to YouTube's Krayden's Right with David Krayden and AnitaK channel: INCREDIBLE Revelations About the Ostrich Scandal | Stand on Guard.

I joined journalist Anita Krishna as she went to the Surrey, BC Super Save location to find out if ostriches from Universal Ostrich Farms were dumped there. Anita and I talk to some eyewitnesses who say that is precisely what happened.

Then I played for my brother's enjoyment a very short video I had come across yesterday that barely exceed four minutes, and had been uploaded November 7 to YouTube's Talents from Ukraine channel: This Isn't a Woman, She's the GODDESS of Seduction | Ukraine's Got Talent.

This Ukrainian acrobat proves that you don't need a partner to set the stage on fire. She combines SUPERHUMAN strength, flawless grace, and a DANGEROUSLY HOT energy that left the judges and audience completely MESMERIZED. This isn't just balance; it's a HYPNOTIC spell. This is the perfect definition of "SEXY & STRONG."

There should have been more to that video ─ I wanted to see what the judges had to say afterwards. Also, who was the gorgeous woman? For that, I had to scan the comments: Yulia Mikhailova, who seems to be a Cirque du Soleil performer.

We still had less than 20 minutes of a movie to finish watching from several days ago, so I tuned that in. It was 2011's Hunt for the I-5 Killer. I had previously recorded it, and no longer recall my source, but it's possible that I accessed this OK.ru link for that.

I had forgotten why I downloaded the movie, for no one in the displayed cast would have motivated me (I never even realized that Bo Derek was in it ─ I don't recall her character). But upon taking a really deep dive into the casting list, I recognized that actress Laci J. Mailey was the inspiration due to her role in the T.V. series Chesapeake Shores. But her role was so small in this movie that I never noticed her at all.

We followed the movie with The Last O.G. ─ episode two ("The First Hump Is the Hardest") of season four. I had also downloaded this episode, but no longer know from where. Let's just suggest this GOOJARA.to link.

We were to also watch most of another movie, but with nigh a half hour remaining, my brother requested its postponement so that he could seek further bed rest. As usual, he would be heading out on foot for a bus in the early afternoon to take him away so he can engage his daily social drinking.

Apart from two mugs of strong instant coffee today, I never ate until after 5 p.m., by which time it was dark outside. Even so, a while before, I had the usual light exercise session in my wife's vacant bedroom and afterwards weighed myself while stripped naked: I was around 178 pounds.

My wife had a full workday today at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, but she never emerged from her bedroom until something like 9:50 a.m. to shower and otherwise ready herself for her fairly long drive and her day. She probably left about a half hour after that emergence.

Right now it is 6:20 p.m. and I am set to break from blogging to watch a couple of shows while enjoying some beer. I do not plan on rising tomorrow until 5:45 a.m., so I needn't get to bed too very early this evening.

🞅🞅🞅🞅🞅🞅

My first selection was the premiere episode ("Pilot") of Madame Secretary ─ and I am almost certain that I may have sampled the series in its heyday, but I remember nothing of it.

My source was this RidoMovies.tv link.

The episode probably finished around 7:30 p.m., and one can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) sufficed. As yet, my brother had not returned to keep Bev company downstairs watching T.V. in the living room. However, I heard him come into the house at 7:42 p.m.

My second and final show was FBI ─ episode 10 ("Redoubt") of season seven. Man, that one got exciting! I'm glad it turned out relatively okay for the 'good guys'.

I suppose the episode ended around 9 p.m.

My source was this MovieGo.io link. And one further can of Cariboo Malt was adequate for the evening.

And I think with that said, I am going to publish this post now at 9:43 p.m., and slowly start finishing up things I've got going here on my computer after I brush my teeth.

I should shop tomorrow morning, but as yet I have not confirmed with myself just where. All three considered destinations are roughly the same distance ─ maybe a half mile. Of course, if I am greeted with a sunny morning, I will likely stay home.
