Closer • Safe • Brainwave

I was not to require my 6 a.m. alarm, for I was awake from at least as early as 5 a.m., rising near 5:15 a.m. to seek urinary relief. After that I did return to bed but surrendered after about half an hour and rose for the morning.

By the way, I want to mention two things I neglected to write of yesterday.

First, I lost a fifth app (that I know of) from our old T95Q Android 9 TV Box after gambling on accepting the installation of a new update for the VLC Media Player. As happened with the other apps, the update went through the process of installing; then when it was supposedly done and I sought to access the app, it was gone.

So now I have lost the Firefox app, Nova TV app, Flix Vision app, MX Player, and now VLC Media Player.

The second item I want to mention was that stripped naked for the bath I had yesterday afternoon, I was easily flabbed out at 182 pounds.

Okay, back to this morning.

Around 7:45 a.m., my brother unexpectedly emerged early from his bedroom, forcing my hand about getting out to the backyard tool shed for my usual morning exercise session. Again, it was usual: a single repetition in all six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups. As well, I tackled the squat work for the benefit of my damaged right knee and quadriceps muscles.

Incidentally, all trace of the ground cover of not quite an inch of snow from the morning yesterday is gone. We even had some rain overnight, and at times today.

Following my tool shed visit, back in the house I whiled away time here at my bedside computer before going downstairs just ahead of 9 a.m. to join my brother, but first I got together my day's first meal.

When I joined him, I had to wait between 10-15 minutes past 9 a.m. before he invited me to commence operation of our Android TV Box. But we were to only watch one video.

At over two hours (2:09:10), it had been published yesterday to Rumble's The Megyn Kelly Show: Iran Timing, Epstein Guard Questions, and "WiFi Jammer" Evidence in Nancy Guthrie Case, w/ Experts.

My brother returned to his bedroom thereafter for further bed rest. My wife, however, emerged from her bedroom before I was set to seek my nap, so she delayed me.

I thought that she was having today off work, but around 3 p.m. or right soon afterwards, she left after getting $50 from me, declaring that she was going to get batteries for a watch of her own and an old one of mine that my mother may have given me.

Not knowing how soon she would be returning, I went forth to the tool shed again to repeat my morning's session because light exercising in her bedroom did not seem feasible.

It has only been since I returned into the house and got back to working on this blog post that it occurred to me that maybe she had been scheduled to work the latter part of today and thus was not returning anytime soon.

I sure can not afford that $50 bill, let me tell you! I really have to get started on filing our tax returns ─ I will direly need that refund beginning next month.

It is presently 4:58 p.m., so I am going to break from this post and both have something to eat, and then start watching at least a couple of T.V. shows here on my bedside computer while enjoying some drink.

My first show and can of Cariboo Malt were done by 5:50 p.m. The show was Superman & Lois ─ the premiere episode ("Closer") of season three. My source was this Fmovies.co link.

It was good! But I'm not in the least interested in the season devolving into a new collection of supervillains ─ this is so damned tiresome. Still, the episode was quite good, as said; and my eyes burned with emotion at least a couple of times.

I had not yet eaten, so I gathered up a substantial feed, realizing that it would take precious time to ingest. To my thinking, rather than waste time eating and whiling away time browsing YouTube or something equally unproductive, I decided to hasten through my second beer during my second show and then eat during what remained of the feature.

This proved perfectly timed!

The show was The Expanse ─ the premiere episode ("Safe") of season two. And again, my source was a Fmovies.co link. It was done by 7:20 p.m.

Yes, it was definitely interesting, but it failed to touch me. I need emotional connection more than interest in a show.

My third show was going to be enjoyed with about 10 ounces of Three Sisters Winery's red wine "Fora" (14% alcohol) of 2022 vintage. It may have been discontinued, for it is not listed on their website.

This was my first opening of the 750-ml bottle.

I then tuned in Stargirl ─ episode nine ("Brainwave") of the first season. And for the third time, my source was an Fmovies.co link.

A very enjoyable, and sinister, episode! But I was again unaffected emotionally. Wikipedia's episode write-up seems rather inaccurate in stating "Henry Jr. accidentally kills his father's shady lawyer". In his fury, the lad used his new telekinesis or whatever he had acquired to painfully kill the young lawyer via a brain aneurysm or some such ─ it didn't seem like too much of an "accident".

The show ended at 8:20 p.m., I believe.

Man, it's been raining rather steadily since the late afternoon!

Right now it is 8:40 p.m., and I still have about a quarter glass of the wine I had poured for Stargirl. I am going to take a break here and brush my teeth. Maybe thereafter I will see about cramming in a sitcom.

Alright, I finished up with Kitchen Confidential ─ episode seven ("The Robbery") of the only season. My source was this 1Moviesz.to link. I suppose that it completed by 9:40 p.m.

It was a so-so episode. Actually, cleavage and related attraction were the primary draw for me.

That rain abated, by the way.

I am going to get this post published and try to soon be to bed. It would actually be really beneficial to somehow rise extra early and get out for a decent hobble. I'm not expecting to, mind ... but it would be nice. Right now it is 9:58 p.m.
