Tax Time!

I had my cellphone alarm set for 3:30 a.m. last night. I did find myself awake around 2 a.m. and soon visited the toilet for urinary relief, and almost made the decision to cancel the alarm because I sure didn't feel like getting up just then and readying for the two-mile round trip hobble to deposit my brother's monthly small expenses reconciliation cheque (a mere $102).

But I gambled and left the alarm on, and got a little more sleep.

At 3 a.m. I did not feel peak, but I did feel a little more able than I had earlier.

It took me until just past 4 a.m. before I had finally fully readied and was on my way under an overcast sky. It had rained quite a lot the previous afternoon and early evening, but there was only a wind at this point that was actually resulting in some drying.

I was never to coincide with anyone on the walk apart from what proved to be a young woman coming my way at a fairly major intersection; she was colourfully attired, her slacks or pants resembling pajama bottoms. I was tempted to greet her as we passed one another after the light had turned in our favour, but I felt it best not to possibly create the impression that I was giving her some special attention that she might misinterpret as being threatening or at least forward.

I got the deposit accomplished, and had an unremarkable walk back home, apart from finding myself clearly unaccustomed to walking that far. The front of my hips where my thighs join my pelvis were growing tender from the jarring activity my body is unaccustomed to.

Despite that, at the elementary school where I used to regularly go for some exercise, I decided to give things there a try because I correctly expected that the wind would have dried off the equipment. It would likely have been better to have paid the visit early into my walk instead of into the tail end.

I was pathetic. In the first two sets of pull-ups, I barely got my chin to the height of the bar for a single rep in the first set, but I failed to get far in the second set's attempted rep. The two sets of chin-ups that followed were easier by a little, for I did manage a good rep in each set. As for the final two sets at the stationary half-rings, forget it ─ not a single rep in either set.

But I returned to the monkey bars overhead ladder where I had tried the first four sets and I held a dead hang for ... gosh, I now forget. Was it a count of 60 ... 70 ... or even 80? I just don't remember.

There was no way that I was going to attempt decline push-ups at the nearby ramp that used to mark my final exercise set.

Back home, I was to discover what is likely the primary reason for my dreadful weakness ─ fully clothed, I was an easy 194 pounds, and might have even been encroaching 195 pounds. By comparison, my nude body weight for a bath Tuesday afternoon was 182 pounds.

I ensured that I got back to bed ahead of 6 a.m., and set my cellphone alarm for 8 a.m. so I could be certain of getting up and having the usual latter morning T.V. time with my younger brother.

When 8 a.m. arrived, I was to discover that he was already downstairs watching T.V., but I did not join him until just after 9 a.m.

When he relinquished the T.V. to me so that I could commence operation of our old T95Q Android 9 TV Box, I led off with three short videos.

The first was two minutes (2:36) and had been uploaded yesterday to YouTube's Dallas Brodie channel: End the reconciliation grift, not rebrand it.

OneBC Leader, Dallas Brodie, talks more about the recent Cowichan decision and the Musqueam agreement with the federal Liberals causing chaos for David Eby's BC NDP. The BC Conservatives have finally started speaking out about the issues with these decisions and agreements but still refuse to call for an end to all this nonsense.

OneBC is the only party that is standing up for BC-ers and calling for the endless reconciliation to stop.

The second video was four minutes (4:36) and had been uploaded yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: A Slap in the Face to Democracy.

The third short video was not quite two minutes (1:56) and had been published two days ago to Rumble's Sunfellow On COVID-19 channel: As Support For Vaccines Plummets, Big Pharma Starts Losing Money.

On March 10, 2026, The HighWire @HighWireTalk writes:

Reuters is now running the headline: "Vaccine slump risks a downward financial spiral."

The numbers tell the story. RSV vaccines down 40% in 2025. Influenza down 33%. Shingles down 19%. COVID down 17%.

Pharma and their media allies want to pin it all on RFK Jr. But here's the headline that blows that up: hepatitis B birth dose vaccination rates were already dropping more than 10 percentage points between 2023 and 2025... before any CDC recommendation changes. That's out of JAMA.

This didn't start with Kennedy. Kennedy got the job BECAUSE of how many Americans already felt this way. He represents a voting block powerful enough that Donald Trump looked at it and said, "I will win if I bring them in," and he did.

Pharma isn't making the money it used to, and that is exactly why it has 25-40 lobbyists crawling through Washington right now, trying to buy whoever they can as quickly as they can.

Next I tuned in Bosch ─ episode two ("The Four Last Things") of season three.

That was followed by an interesting 47-minute (47:37) video published February 16, 2021, to BitChute's bluedemon218 channel: Mary Bell.

Mary Flora Bell (born 26 May 1957) is an English woman who, in 1968, aged 10–11, strangled two young boys to death in Scotswood, a district in the West End of Newcastle upon Tyne. She was convicted in December 1968 of the manslaughter of Martin Brown (aged four) and Brian Howe (aged three).

Since her release from prison in 1980, she has lived under a series of pseudonyms. Her identity has been protected by a court order, which has also been extended to protect the identity of her daughter. In 1998, Bell collaborated with Gitta Sereny on an account of her life, in which she details the abuse she suffered as a child at the hands of her prostitute mother and her mother's clients.

Our final video was a documentary that we suspended finishing so that my brother could return to his bedroom for further bed rest.

I never returned to bed for my nap until after 1 p.m.

By the way, I neglected to mention yesterday that my brother never bused away to social drink that afternoon. He remained here and got drunk while watching T.V. with Bev.

I had a light exercise session in my wife's vacant bedroom this overcast day (we may have had a little afternoon rain). Right now, it is 6:15 p.m., so I am going to take a blogging break. I will have a light supper, and then I am going to take a rest and ─ instead of watching any T.V. shows here on my bedside computer ─ I will seek to get together all of the information I shall need in order to file income tax returns for my wife and me.

I won't drink anything, either ─ I can drink and watch something later if I get everything accomplished.

🟪🟪🟪

It took me all bloody evening and into the a.m. of Friday (March 13) to get the two tax returns filled out using the GenuTax free software. But neither tax return would NETFILE.

I was to learn that the NETFILE system shuts down for three hours each night for maintenance, beginning at 3 a.m. Eastern Time. That happens to be midnight here on the Pacific Coast. I think it was not even 12:15 a.m. when I made the first attempt with my tax return.

So I shall have to wait until the morning.

I am going to amend the publication date of this post to have it logged to the relevant date.

Not a drink nor T.V. show all evening, darn it!
