Acquiring the Latest Versions of the Video Streaming 'Apps' Cyberflix and Nova TV

Another weekend wasted where getting out on any early a.m. walks has been concerned.

I explained about yesterday's failure in that day's post. Today was somewhat similar in some respects in that I found myself wanting to continue remaining in bed overnight anytime I found myself awake, for I always felt as if I would be able to easily enough lapse into a further small block of sleep.

Of course, I did not get to bed until after 11:30 p.m. last evening, I believe.

Even so, I did rise around 4:30 a.m., perhaps. But last evening I had already reserved my early morning time to adapting information in a 19-minute YouTube video to suit my own means, for it revolved around use of an Amazon Firestick whereas I use an Android TV Box.

It also involved use of the Downloader 'app' which I deemed entirely unnecessary for my needs.

What all of this involved was that I discovered a couple of days ago that the Cyberflix 'app' that I have downloaded into my T9 Android 8.1 TV Box no longer gathered any data ─ it would open up, but it was unable to display any T.V. series or (I assume, for I did not bother checking) movies.

All it would display on its screen was "No Data".

Basically, the 'app' had become an empty shell.

So I did some online researching and learned that there was a newer version of the 'app', but the old one could not be updated.

When I located the lengthy YouTube video last evening, I had no time to spend on the challenge that I knew it would provide, for my younger brother was newly home and it was going to entail an evening of T.V.-watching via the Android TV Box that only I have the expertise to operate.

And so it was that early this a.m., I got at that YouTube video that was uploaded just yesterday by user BudgetLife, and which was titled CYBERFLIX NO DATA FIX πŸ”₯ Cyberflix No Links Available 2020 πŸ”₯ Cyberflix Not Working.

I followed the advice given on how to do the most thorough job of deleting everything related to the old Cyberflix 'app' in my device, and I decided to also download the FileLinked 'app' in order to access BudgetLife's account or 'store' where he has a wide array of different 'apps' that he has made available to visitors like myself.

He was offering a download for the latest version of Cyberflix.

While I was looking for that specific 'app', I noticed another one that I had just read about that I was planning to try and get a source for ─ an 'app' called Nova TV.

So I was able to 'kill two birds with one stone' ─ I didn't need to cast about anywhere else in an online search for it.

I think that I have a couple of 'app' installers already downloaded into my Android TV Box ─ I was not going to add the Downloader 'app'. I think that the main one I use is called APK Installer.

It proved perfectly adequate, naturally.

BudgetLife's video had detailed how to get a free Real-Debrid account so that his viewers would be able to access movie sources through Cyberflix that would not otherwise be offered, so I used my computer to get myself set up with an account.

Then when I opened up my Cyberflix 'app' in my Android TV Box, I made the tweaks BudgetLife suggested in Cyberflix's settings to best take advantage of the free Real-Debrid account I now had set up online.

I had no trouble at all using Cyberflix's settings to link in to my Real-Debrid account. I never needed to bother with an annoying reCAPTCHA ─ BudgetLife had warned that it might be insisted upon.

Although I did not attempt to play any movies at this time to see if I really do have a broader access to quality movie sources than I would otherwise have, I am confident that I followed the proper procedures.

This all consumed a considerable amount of time, as one might imagine. I also had to keep coming upstairs here to my computer to follow the YouTube video and of course set up my Real-Debrid account, and then go back downstairs to the T.V. to fuss about with my Android TV Box.

When I felt I was finished ─ time will of course reveal the truth to that ─ I then got to work adding further content into the new post that I am working on at one of my six hosted websites.

The morning was overcast.

Quite apart from the time I spent with all of the aforementioned, there was an additional factor that hindered me from undertaking that early long walk. Essentially, it was penury.

If I had gone anywhere, I would have wanted to do some grocery shopping. However, my chequing account only has something over $60 in it, and my monthly pension will not arrive until sometime this coming week.

I do have over $1,000 of my recently acquired income tax refund in a separate account, but I did not want to transfer over any of it to shop with ─ there are a couple of huge billings coming due for which that money will be vital in helping get covered.

And so without the motivation that grocery shopping would have instilled within me, I felt myself lacking the determination to embark on any long walk when I had that other business relating to my Android TV Box to immerse myself into.

I gave it the priority, along with the subsequent website post work that I felt I needed to get done.

Today's main scheduled home exercising involved a session out in the backyard toolshed, so around 8:30 a.m. I headed on out there to get it over with before my brother rose for the morning.

I was a little surprised to find that it was just beginning to spit some rain. After I was back into the house and seated here working on this post, I was able to hear some rain pattering on the carport roof just outside of my open upstairs window. The sound didn't last at all long, but I expect that this will be the sort of morning that is in store ─ I am typing these very words at 10:13 a.m.

I could use some more sleep. I had myself a mug of hot, black instant coffee much earlier after I first rose, but it isn't going to pose an obstacle where some slumber is concerned.

I will continue this post in the latter afternoon, I expect.

oooooooooooooo

As a result of what I felt to be my obligation to clean up the last remaining leftovers of my wife's cooking from late in the week, I heavily overate at my day's first meal. Until then, I had actually considered that it might yet be possible for me to get out in the latter afternoon or very early evening for a long walk.

The meal overcame me with uncomfortable lethargy. Even a mid-afternoon nap was not sufficient to remedy my state. But at least I resolved to get out into the backyard right after that nap and reclined low in a lawn- or deckchair while facing into the direction of the Sun whose rays were mainly weakened by cloud.

Although I was fully clothed but for my bared feet, it was 4:07 p.m. when I was settled into that chair and I spent at least a couple of minutes beyond a half hour seated out there. So apart from the exposure to the day, I ought to have therapeutically benefitted as well from earthing (or grounding), perhaps at the very least ridding my body of some inflammation.

Before taking my nap, I had returned to my Android TV Box and opened up the Nova TV 'app' to check it out. In so doing, I was offered an update. Apparently my version was something like 1.1.2, and the update was (I believe) version 1.1.8.

Well, agreeing to the update did nothing ─ and I attempted to have it commence a few times.

YouTube user BudgetLife apparently only had the older version on offer at his FileLinked account or 'store'.

Some research revealed that I could easily enough acquire the updated version elsewhere, but I would first have to uninstall the older version ─ which I did.

My Android TV Box has both a Firefox and a Chrome browser 'app', so I used the Firefox version and accessed the Web URL or address https://troypoint/nova ─ and that immediately set into motion the download of the latest version of a copy of the Nova TV APK.

All I needed to do was click the option to open it, and I was soon enough set up with the latest version.

I find that https://troypoint.com has been a valuable resource over the past two or three years in which we have been using an Android TV Box ─ I highly recommend the website.

Well, it is already after 6:00 p.m. and I would like to have a bath before I watch some evening T.V. That earlier meal is still so heavily within me that I have no hunger yet whatsoever; I may just snack later on in lieu of an actual supper of any degree.

Who knows? Maybe a bath will reinvigorate me such that ─ after a hot caffeinated beverage, and provided that my brother is not yet home from wherever it is that he went to drink this afternoon ─ I may yet find the stuff to get myself away on a walk.

But I muchly doubt it.
