Between the red wine that I consumed early last evening, and then the two cans of beer (8% and 6.7% alcohol respectively) that later followed, I suppose that I have to admit to experiencing some ill effects overnight that impinged my sleeping.
My wife seemed in a decent mood when she got home during the latter evening after her long day at the Thai restaurant that employs her three or four days a week. My younger brother had arrived somewhat earlier from wherever he was 'socializing', and it became apparent that the drink was adversely affecting his aspect, so I withdrew from initiating any conversation with him and just let the programming that I was tuning in via our Android TV Box arrest his attention.
As it happened, we only watched an episode each of Riverdale and Inspector Morse. That brought us to midnight, and my brother felt it prudent to call it quits for the night.
This latter morning he and I were to watch different fare:
- Cowboy Logic - 031322 - Lara Logan - Part 1 (23:02) and Part 2 (23:21);
- CATHERINE AUSTIN FITTS: US GOV'T, ITS CONTRACTORS & BANKS STOLE TRILLIONS FROM TAXPAYERS (57:47); and
- Mel K & Brilliant Cynthia Chung discuss Brave New World, Huxley & Mass Mind Control History 3-14-22 (1:22:28).
Actually, we watched Part 1 of the Lara Logan interview yesterday. What an intelligent beauty that woman is!
The Catherine Austin Fitts video was only the first of a two-part interview, but the second part of the interview had not yet been uploaded for some reason.
My brother gave up on the Cynthia Chung interview with maybe 15 minutes to go, seeking some bed rest, for we had reached midway through the noon hour and (as usual) he had early afternoon plans to head out again to 'socialize'. These outings of his have considerable priority.
I held off seeking my early afternoon nap for at least a couple of reasons relating to my wife being home. However, she was to leave for the rest of the weekend around 2:30 p.m. At the time, I was finally having my day's first meal. Anyway, she is not expected back until sometime on Monday (she tends to spend most of her weekends somewhere in Vancouver).
The day has been very mild outdoors, and it was attempting to rain shortly before my wife left. Overnight, at times it was raining quite hard. It would not have been good walking weather!
As an update to the lupin or lupine shoots that were starting to appear in the potting soil that I had placed the germinated seeds into here in the house, I decided this afternoon to put the tray out in our open carport because the soil was almost infested with wee flies of some sort that are approximately the same size as a fruit fly, but which don't seem to have the plumpness nor brown colouring that a fruit fly does.
The tray is atop an old washer or dryer, so it oughtn't to be vandalized by mice, rats, skunks, or raccoons. And it certainly is out of reach of snails and slugs.
I now have some pansy seeds sandwiched between a folded paper towel that I wetted and placed into a plastic bag, so I hope to see some germination happening. Two or three years ago I sowed outdoors the pansy seeds from a package, but I never saw a trace of any plants that may have germinated (if any did).
The hope is that the wet paper towel trick will work for them as nicely as it did for the lupins or lupine seeds.
Oh, gosh ─ it is already after 7:45 p.m., and I want to have a bath. I must halt blogging for today.
