Another of those recurring afternoons of auto-heartbreak.
Due to the afternoon's folly, I have not allowed myself time for the usual pursuits such as working on the post that I have in progress at one of my two remaining hosted websites, nor do I have time for blogging. My evening is already upon me.
I want to note here that yesterday, for the second consecutive evening, I was to bed before my younger brother returned home. Last night's bedtime was just after 10 p.m., and I retired despite hearing my wife arrive home following her full day working at the Thai restaurant where she puts in a few days per week.
She had her youngest son ─ aged 23 or 24 ─ for company, so I didn't feel too guilty.
Unfortunately, my sleep in the early a.m. hours proved poorer than usual. Perhaps I should have taken a melatonin tablet.
My wife had to work another full day today with her usual 11 a.m. start, so she left here with plenty of time to perform the rather long drive and arrive ahead of schedule.
I spent the latter morning watching videos on T.V. with my brother via our Android TV Box, but I am only going to mention two of them, both of which were quite short, since one relates to Canada's crushed Ottawa Freedom Convoy 2022, and the other to America's People's Convoy.
The Canadian-related video dealt with our Canadian Crime Minister's speaking appearance at the European Parliament ─ just this past Wednesday (March 23), I believe. Apparently at least three MEPs (Members of the European Parliament) stood up and roundly scathed him.
Canadian media like the CBC denounced the MEPs, and claimed that our Crime Minister got a standing ovation. However, since most of the attendees absented themselves, this is hardly a comfort to anyone except someone as nitwitted and delusional as is our Crime Minister.
The Toronto Sun did publish a decently realistic article (see here) ─ the CBC and similar bought media be damned for their deception.
Anyway, the 11-minute video my brother and I watched was at YouTube, so its longevity will be uncertain: PM Justin Trudeau Met Harsh Criticism from European Parliament MEPs.
The video relating to the U.S. People's Convoy is a little more than two minutes in duration, and features an unidentified mask fanatic roaring profanity and insults at a few truckers and their supporters on a Washington (D.C.) city street ─ this was uploaded to BitChute yesterday: πΊπΈ The People's Convoy When a masked guy saw the freedom truckers arriving in Washington DC ... O.
He called the truckers and their supporters cowards a number of times, yet it is he who is too craven to walk about in the open air without a face diaper ─ like all such fanatics, he will not research or discover anything that could possibly undermine his convicted membership within the COVID cult.
In full honesty, I kept watching the video in the hopes that the prick would suffer a stroke ─ what a hopeless flake he was proven himself to be.
Okay, I have actually spent longer on this post than I intended ─ I don't have much motivation for blogging. In fact, I am going to have myself a quantity of red wine while watching some T.V., and seek to lift my spirits.
The day has been largely overcast, but it has been dry and quite mild. Some lupin or lupine seeds that I wrote about having germinated a couple or so days back and which I then put into some potting soil are now beginning to emerge.
I still have them here in the house, but maybe by April 1st I will risk putting them outside. I won't set them into the ground as yet, for they need to have some size to be able to withstand any attention from any wayward slug or snail.
Once I have them outside ─ and I think that I overestimated their number when I cited that there were possibly 19 of them (there may only have been 17 at most) ─ I will look at getting some pansy seeds germinated here in the house.
But enough! I have assaulted my sore thumb joints with enough keyboard punishment for today.
