My wife let me know today that she sat up watching all of the latest episodes of Ozark on her smartphone or tablet until around 4:30 a.m. this morning. I guess she began watching the series a couple or so months ago.
I believe that my younger brother and I have watched the first two seasons, but it has been a year or more since then. I cannot say when we will be getting back to the series.
She was supposed to have had today off work; but this afternoon while I was having my nap, she said that she got a call to come in and replace someone else for the afternoon / evening period. Normally, this would have meant a 4 p.m. start, but my wife was still here until (I think) around 4:30 p.m. before she left on the fairly long drive.
I wish the hard-working gal well.
I was up well into the midnight hour with my brother last night watching an episode each of a couple of the series that we follow (i.e., Killing Eve; Endeavour; and The Conners), but I won't be doing so quite as late tonight ─ I want to have another of my very early a.m. five-mile walks. Ideally, I would like to be getting up anywhere from 3 - 3:30 a.m.
We are only watching The Conners out of habit, for I am very disappointed with how heavily they promote face masks and the jab, unapologetically spewing all of the nonsense and lies that the likes of the CDC and FDA keep shovelling down the throats of gullible Americans who are too dim to care to ever do their own research.
But I don't want to get drawn into that topic today. It is already well past 7:30 p.m., and I want to have a bath if there is possibly enough hot water remaining after my selfish youngest stepson had what seemed to be a half-hour shower. His older brother had been away to the gym he frequents and is home now, so I dare not wait overlong ─ I have not had a bath since Saturday.
And perhaps with that explained, I believe that it is best that I cease blogging for the day ─ a reasonably sunny one at times, and relatively mild out there.
