There was rain last night, and it has essentially rained throughout today.
Incidentally, I am attempting to type as measuredly and lightly as I can due to the almost crippling main thumb joint pain that I have been suffering for quite a few months. I seem to be an incorrigible 'heavy hitter' where typing is concerned; and after more than two decades of typing like this, it has finally caught up to me.
I want to look into filing the 2021 tax returns for my wife and I using (as I did last year) the free GenuTax Multiyear Tax Software that I have downloaded into this computer, so I am going to be quite brief with this post.
I do want to mention the movie that I tuned in late this morning for my younger brother and I to watch on T.V. via our Android TV Box ─ the movie was 2010's The Other Guys.
It was definitely a nice change of pace where our daytime T.V. viewing is concerned. We enjoyed it sufficiently that I will eventually have to tune in the next two collaborations (Daddy's Home and Daddy's Home 2) of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, for they certainly do seem to work well together.
Eva Mendes in her role as Will Ferrell's character's wife was utterly striking. I'm not at all familiar with her ─ I would never have been able to claim that I had seen the actress before, but her name has a remote recognizability to it.
In perusing the Wikipedia article about the movie (that I linked to), I am surprised to see that Brooke Shields, Rosie Perez, and Tracy Morgan all had cameos as themselves in the movie, for I cannot remember seeing any of them.
Interestingly to me, my brother and I are slowly working our way through Tracy Morgan's T.V. series The Last O.G. My brother never seemed to notice in that series, but it struck me that Tracy seemed to walk as if his spine was fused and largely inflexible. He walked like he had a board strapped to his back.
I see now that he had been in an extremely serious car crash back in 2014 that left him with brain damage (among other things), and he was in a coma for over a week. As well, previously to that, he was the recipient of a kidney transplant.
Coincidentally, my brother and I are also working our way through a T.V. series of yet one other of the supporting cast ─ Steve Coogan. Had I not noticed his name in the opening credits, however, I don't believe that I would have recognized him as being the main character in the 2006 / 2007 T.V. series Saxondale that we are presently involved with watching.
And this is where I am going to take closure for today so that I can have a look at filing those tax returns.
