Due to my determination to befoul both my spirit and my afternoon, this will not be a lengthy post.
I do want to report that as a result of my younger brother making it home ahead of 9:30 p.m. last evening from his 'socializing', I ended up enjoying a couple of cans of strong (8% alcohol) malt while watching an episode each of four of the T.V. series we follow via our Android TV Box.
The shows were Doctor Who; The Graham Norton Show; The Kominsky Method; and The Conners. This probably put my bedtime well into the latter half of midnight.
It was my intention to do some early morning grocery shopping, so I set my cellphone alarm for 5:30 a.m. ─ the store (Save-On-Foods) is approximately three-quarters of a mile distant, and opens at 7 a.m. Since I do not drive, I would be walking.
My sleep began breaking well before the night began to fade, which of late begins considerably before 5 a.m. However, I never checked the time until at one point when I became alerted that it was ridiculously light outside. A panicked check of the time revealed that it was something like 6:12 a.m., and for some peculiar reason my cellphone screen seemed to be indicating that the alarm was on "snooze" mode.
I have no idea how that could possibly be.
I was forced to hustle up in order to boil water for a stiff black instant coffee and to do some beard trimming. Then with the coffee drunk, I was off on my walk just ahead of 7 a.m.
I got the shopping accomplished, but I spent a little more than I needed to, and I managed to forget to buy one of the main reasons I went shopping ─ a tall can (475 grammes) or even two of NescafΓ© Rich instant coffee on sale for $14.99, a full $3 off the usual price of $17.99.
This realization when I was later at home was most vexing. I can only attribute the omission to my somewhat harried state of mind.
I only do my shopping Sunday mornings, so it would seem that I am out of luck on the sale.
I remained up until I became aware that my brother was set to be exiting his bedroom for the morning, and then I shut myself up in my own bedroom in order to gain a little rest or even a nap before going downstairs to join him for some T.V. Meantime, he would have the Sunday morning edition of The Province that I subscribe to.
I've been aware for a few days now of chiropractic Dr. Bryan Ardis' proclamation about SARS-CoV-2 having something to do with snake venom, so this morning I finally got around to tuning in some videos explaining the connection. My brother and I were to watch three.
I led us off with a Stew Peters interview of Dr. Ardis that was nearly an hour long and which was uploaded to Rumble on April 11: LIVE WORLD PREMIERE: WATCH THE WATER.
As I was to discern with the subsequent two videos, Dr. Ardis got poor Stew Peters fixated on a probably false and primarily irrelevant notion ─ that is, that the venom concoction was being administered into the world's water supply.
This became apparent in a short (18 minutes) video uploaded to Rumble by Steel Truth Media on April 12: THE NEXT DAY: APRIL 12, 2022 DR. BRYAN ARDIS RESPONDS TO COVID BOMBSHELL RELEASE. “IT’S NOT ABOUT THE WATER”.
The third interview of Dr. Ardis that we watched was by Mike Adams of Brighteon, and uploaded there on April 12: Mike Adams interviews Dr. Brian Adris PT. 1.
The water contamination red herring aside, everything else has some plausibility. No doubt, other valid and worthy researchers are going to step forth and either corroborate or caution against the conjecture. For now, I have had enough of an introduction to the theory and likely will not watch further such material.
I should have sought a needed nap in the early afternoon following my day's first meal, but I did not. When I was finally done with nonsense, it was perhaps around 4:30 p.m. before I pursued that nap. I had blown off well over three hours.
The day outside seems to have been reasonable ─ there was a lot of weak sunshine, although it is still unseasonably cool. We are maybe 10 degrees cooler than what may be the norm for this time of year.
Anyway, I haven't the heart to talk about aught else, so I am going to terminate this post here.
