My younger brother seemed to retain his consciousness throughout last evening after he arrived home from his 'socializing'. Employing our Android TV Box, I first played an episode of Riverdale (at that point we had reached season three's episode 13 "Chapter Forty-Eight: Requiem for a Welterweight"), and then an episode of Young Wallander (season one's "Episode 6").
As I reported in yesterday's post, I hoped to be able to soon have my brother and I watch the three movies that predated the Jack Irish T.V. series, so last night I decided to cue up 2012's Bad Debts.
It was definitely good. And it explained how then-married Jack Irish came to become involved with the character played by actress Marta Dusseldorp who subsequently becomes a fixture in his life.
When criminal lawyer Jack Irish's wife was murdered by an irate client, Jack swore off his old life. Now he passes his time collecting debts, betting on horse races, and boozing at a dingy pub. Then a man he once represented dies, and Irish decides to delve deeper.
Obviously the movie also explained why Jack gave up being a criminal lawyer.
The movie was a little longer than the claimed 90 minutes at IMDb. It was closer to 1¾ hours. And since its conclusion brought my brother and I to approximately 12:40 a.m., it was bedtime.
When my brother and I got together this morning for some more T.V., but of a different nature, I played better than half of a nearly 2¾-hour (2:44:10) documentary that we will finish watching tomorrow. My brother had complained at something like the 22-minute mark that he was not inclined to sit through the full feature.
Nevertheless, it picked up considerably and I do believe that he would have been okay with watching it all this morning, but I had already made my decision to watch it in two parts.
I then tuned in a 45-minute (45:36) video that was uploaded to Rumble earlier today: Are Vaxxed Children Healthier than Unvaxxed - Ted Kuntz.
Ted Kuntz, President of Vaccine Choice Canada, sits down to Jack Atkin of Independent Community TV to discuss all things vaccine related; especially whether or not vaccinated children are healthier than unvaccinated ones.
I have not before heard of host Jack Etkin ─ or I have forgotten, if I have before heard of him. But Ted Kuntz is most familiar ─ a lovely chap indeed.
The final video we watched was a 37-minute (37:02) documentary of sorts titled Flat Earth - Jesuits & the Global Conspiracy ─ this was on BitChute. Other sources for the video are there, as well as on Odysee.
This one went to pains to explain WHY the Flat Earth concept was smothered and replaced with the concept of a global planet and an infinite universe with untold other planets ─ it did NOT attempt to prove that the Earth is Flat.
Good speculation.
Once the video was done, my brother sought some bed rest; and I soon sought my own nap. He was gone for the day when I rose.
The sky has been primarily hazed over, and at times there seems to also be drifting cloud. At any rate, I went out into the backyard and at 2:23 p.m. began a little over an hour and 25 minutes of exposure to what sunshine there was ─ I wore just a pair of cut-offs.
I have an early a.m. walk planned for tonight that I want to be getting up at 2 a.m. to quickly ready for (I want to be on my way by 2:15 a.m.), so I will not be sitting up this evening watching T.V. with my brother once he shows up.
Since it is already after 7:30 p.m., I am going to bring this post to a close here.
