Sweet Country

If only I had the resources with which to withstand the wicked turns that I am recurringly inclined to take without the due resistance I ought to be mustering. And of course, I am referring to yesterday.

After my younger brother was home shortly after 9 p.m. that evening, I tuned in an episode of The Flash ─ episode 15 ("The Exorcism of Nash Wells") of season six.

We have a long way to go to get through this series!

I followed up the episode with a movie ─ Australia's 2017 Sweet Country, the story of which was "set in outback Northern Territory about ten years after World War I."

The first source I used that our Android TV Box yielded was dubbed in a European language like Italian, but it took me a short while to accept that the characters were not supposed to actually be speaking that language, for there were subtitles that were also in a similar language, although sometimes some English would display.

The next source I tried was in proper Australian, but it was subtitled in something like Spanish. That would not have normally been much of an issue, except that in this movie a lot of Australian Aborigine was spoken and the Spanish subtitling blotted out the much tinier English translation.

But I had wasted so much time to that point that I did not fuss further trying to find a more satisfactory source. Consequently, my brother and I never knew what the Aborigines were saying to one another when they spoke in their own tongue.

My inebriated brother was reasonably tolerant of all of this, and I am sure that he generally enjoyed what he followed of the movie when he was paying attention and not droning on. However, he expressly stated that he most definitely did not like the movie's finish once it was done. The ending was undeniably a 'downer'.

Wikipedia indicates that the story was based upon "true events" and that there really was an Australian Aborigine tried for the murder of a white man. The Aborigine was a "great-uncle" of the movie's scriptwriter, David Tranter. David created a documentary about his great-uncle that I have tried to locate, but which only seems to be available for rent ─ even though it was released at least as far back as 2007.

By the time it ever becomes available for free, I will have undoubtedly forgotten all about it.

My wife had come home (after working the full day at the Thai restaurant where she has part-time employment) during The Flash, and had her youngest son to talk to (her eldest was working a 6 p.m. - 6 a.m. shift at Tree Island Steel). She later into the evening bade my brother and I goodnight when she headed on upstairs to go to bed, so she and I never had conversation.

We have separate bedrooms.

She was to text me this morning at 8:36 a.m. to enquire if there was enough money to cover the monthly mortgage due to be debited today, so I simply responded, "Yes." She did not actually get up for the day until around 9:45 a.m. when she began showering and otherwise readying for another full day working at the Thai restaurant.

When she finally came downstairs, my brother and I were deep into a 1½-hour (1:34:11) upload by "TheLastAmericanVagabond" to Rumble yesterday, so I did break from it to have some small talk with her as she rushed in the kitchen to fix up a hot beverage to drink on her fairly long drive.

I won't be seeing her this evening because I have one of my early a.m. walks planned that requires me to get up at 2 a.m., so I will probably be getting to bed around 9:30 p.m. My brother bused away today to hook up with one or more of his drinking buddies at a pub and so is not likely to be home to complicate my bedtime plans.

But returning to the morning video mentioned above that he and I watched, it was titled Denis Rancourt Interview - Data Proves COVID-19 Is Actually An Illusion.

I have had three outstanding interviews thus far with Denis Rancourt PhD, one involving Stephanie Seneff PhD, which I highly recommend everyone take the time to watch, as it involves the discussion of glyphosate and how it may be priming the body for more severe illness. Today, I am joined once again by Denis to discuss the evolving awareness of the COVID-19 illusion and just how much more clear this has become with his continued investigation and published research.

We next watched another Rumble upload of yesterday, this time by the Stew Peters Network ─ it was nearly an hour long (58:16): LIVE: Mike Lindell SUES THE FBI For Tracking His CELL PHONE! Military QUIETLY Drops Vaxx Purge.

Odessa Orlewicz joins to expose the transgender teacher with unrealistically large, fake breasts who is visually violating his students and school-goers. The school is protecting the pervert, and parents are preparing to protest!

Mike Lindell joins the show to expose the local media is LYING about the FBI ambush. The Elites have weaponized the FBI, and now Lindell is fighting back with a massive lawsuit!

Ask Dr. Jane returns this week to answer some hard questions from doctor’s perspective. Can blood transfusions be dangerous for the unvaxxed?

The military has gotten rid of everyone who fought for their rights against the COVID vaccines. Now they have come out and determined that they are no longer going to punish anyone who is unvaccinated. This is an act of BLATENT COWARDICE by our military.

And to top off this early part of our day, we watched an episode of How Do You Want Me? ─ in this case, episode three ("Monstrous") of series one. Much of the episode related to some nude photos that the central couple (Ian and Lisa Lyons) took of themselves, but which were nicked by Lisa's rowdy big brother and ─ after copies were made ─ posted all over the village.

I only have time now to mention that ─ just as yesterday ─ the afternoon was sunny, so I donned cutoffs and got in at least 1¼ hours of sunning out in the backyard.

I do not ever recall being able to sun this often and so deep into a September.

I want to have a bath before going to bed, so I am bringing this post to a close right here.
