'Pon my younger brother's arrival home early into the latter evening yesterday, I put our Android TV Box into action and led off our T.V. entertainment with an episode of Sharp Objects, the premiere episode.
It was evidently too involved for my brother's beer-drenched brain to follow, so he passed in and out of the episode throughout its duration. When it was done, I next tuned in an episode of Inspector Morse. My brother happened to still be passed out when it started, so he missed out on the opening few minutes.
This episode happened to be the penultimate episode ("The Day of the Devil") of the seventh season. Since there are only eight seasons (or "series"), we are not far off from the finish.
Our evening was capped with an episode of United States of Tara ─ episode 11 ("To Have and to Hold") of the second season.
After my brother retired to his bedroom for the night, I was seated here at my computer in my own bedroom when my wife finally got home ─ she had gone somewhere in the mid-afternoon. I was later to see on her Facebook account that she attended a birthday party that involved quite a number of her mainly Thai friends.
Suffice to say that when she showed up, it was clear that she was fairly inebriated.
We have separate bedrooms, so while she was downstairs probably having a bedtime snack, I retired for the night.
Normally she has to work a full day on Thursdays at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, and usually rises around 9:45 - 9:50 a.m. to begin readying herself (the restaurant opens at 11 a.m., and is a fair drive from us). This morning, she did not get up.
She was not to emerge from her bedroom until after the noon hour concluded. However, she did thereafter eventually ready to work the latter half of the day. The restaurant closes for something like 3 - 4 p.m. Thus, she left here well in time to make the 4 p.m. opening.
My brother and I only watched one major video this morning ─ a nearly 2¾-hour (2:43:22) September 3 or 4 upload to Rumble by Tessa Lena (Tessa Fights Robots): Geoengineering, 5G, IoT: Tessa Lena Talks to Nikki Florio.

The episode ran as long as it did because guest Nikki Florio gave a lengthy presentation on various related topics as suggested by the video's title.
Nikki did not prove to be a polished presenter, alas, but I hope enough people stuck with the video and benefited from it.
Since the video brought my brother and I to around the 12:10 p.m. mark, I decided to just tune in a sitcom. We watched an episode of The Kominsky Method ─ season three's episode two ("Chapter 18. You only give me your funny paper").
My brother sought his usual bed rest, and I was seated here at my computer having some of my wife's leftover cooking as my first meal of the day when she got up for the day. I had to wait until she finished in the bathroom and then went downstairs to do some cooking before I used the bathroom and then sought my own nap.
My brother was gone for the day when I later emerged from my bedroom sometime around 2:48 p.m., finding that my wife was by then showering, fully intent on soon leaving for work.
The sky was solidly overcast today, and my brother pointed out late into the morning that it was actually sprinkling enough rain to start getting things wet.
That did stop, and before mid-afternoon all was again dry. Had my wife worked a full day today, it is possible that I might have bothered to go and sit out in the backyard under the overcast sky just for the daylight, and maybe with my feet bared to benefit from the earthing or grounding.
However, due to her being present, and how late my nap had managed to take me into the afternoon, I made the choice to not expend the time ─ I would have wanted to try and sit outside for maybe an hour. I likely would even have needed a jacket, for it was definitely cool outside.
Since I have an early a.m. 5½-or-so-mile walk planned for tonight that will see me rising at 2 a.m. to quickly ready myself and be away by 2:15 a.m., I will not be sitting up late this evening. My brother apparently bused away to a pub to rendezvous with one or more of his drinking buddies, so it is very unusual for him to be back on such days until well beyond 9 p.m.
I will likely retire around 9:30 p.m. or soon after.
