πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠ Isolation

Blakelee Ortega

After my younger brother was home in the early latter evening yesterday, I put our Android TV Box into action and tuned in the premier episode of Jack Irish

Oddly, we both vaguely remembered seeing the episode at some point in the past. Only bits would seem familiar ─ in my case, I suspect that I was probably well into some drink at the time. Of course, that would also apply to my brother.

But it had to have been a few years ago, for neither of us remembered anything at all about actress Marta Dusseldorp being in the episode. We became fond of her character in the long-running T.V. series A Place to Call Home. We loved that series, so our exposure to the Jack Irish episode had to have been prior to us ever starting to watch A Place to Call Home.

I see that there are also three Jack Irish movies that I am going to have to insert into our viewing schedule. Since they all pre-date the T.V. series, it would seem proper to watch them first.

Once this episode was finished last night, I tuned in the 2015 movie Isolation. We enjoyed it. My brother recognized that Dominick Purcell is a regular on the T.V. series DC's Legends of Tomorrow (I usually have to point things like this out to him, for his 'powers of observation' tend to be feeble).

I had the movie placed on a list because of actress Marie Avgeropoulos. Unfortunately, as in the last movie that we watched featuring her (Numb), she was not one of 'the good guys'. She was actually far nastier in this movie.

Tricia Helfer was the lead actress. I was a little disappointed to see that when a lot of her is exposed (as in a bikini), she has very little muscle tone. She clearly does not strenuously exercise. Smaller Marie Avgeropoulos was much more athletic, and this was very apparent in scenes wherein the two actresses were running. Also, Marie's legs were visibly more sculpted ─ her thighs especially were nicely full and muscular.

Yes, I pay heed to stuff like this.

I don't wish to betray the plot elements by talking about the movie. Anyone badly enough wishing to view it who does not have a streaming device such as an Android TV Box can find sources for the movie by doing a search at Yandex (Google will bury any such results).

My brother and I finished off our viewing last night with the second episode of the T.V. series How Do You Want Me?

I know that it was after 1 a.m. by the time I went to bed, and my wife was not yet home following her full workday at the Thai restaurant where she has part-time employment. Yet her car was in the driveway this morning.

'Tis a good thing for her that she didn't have to work.

When my brother and I got together for some morning T.V., I led us off with the 2019 Hibbeler Productions documentary The Taste of Life.

It was approximately 22 minutes in length; but unlike other Hibbeler Production documentaries, this one was sheer propaganda for PETA, vegetarianism, and even for Bill Gates and the World Economic Forum and their artificial meats / 'eat insects' agenda. I was profoundly disappointed.

The documentary even preached against consuming dairy products, for Pete's sake! Instead, it lauded all of those artificial milk products, many of which contain unhealthy ingredients no one should be consuming.

Very disappointing.

If you are small-minded enough to want to see the feature, try BitChute ─ if this search link remains valid, you can make a choice from what is displayed there.

I next tuned in an Action4Canada video at Rumble, but it was a little over 2½ hours in length, so we had to cut out of the feature with nigh 45 minutes to go ─ we will continue with it tomorrow. What we had watched had taken us to nigh midway through the noon hour.

My brother sought some bed rest, and I did similarly soon after. As yet, my wife had not risen.

I napped very briefly. I rose just as my brother was disappearing for the day to once again 'socialize'. My wife was still not out of her bedroom (we have separate bedrooms).

The day was sunny thus far, although the air reeked of smoke from distant wildfires. So at 1:49 p.m. I commenced an hour and 20 minutes of sunning out in the backyard while wearing a pair of cut-offs.

When I returned into the house, I discovered that my wife had meantime risen, showered, and left without a word to me. I suppose that she thought it sufficient to have communicated with one or both of her sons ─ I do not know just who was then home.

By the end of the afternoon, the sky was overcast ─ probably the smoke had become more than just a smell.

I will not be sitting up into the latter evening tonight because I want to do a little grocery shopping in the morning at Save-On-Foods following a decent long walk. Ideally, I would like to leave home well before 6 a.m., so I might set my cellphone alarm for 4 a.m. in order to give me plenty of time to leisurely ready for the outing.

I am going to end my discussion of today there.
