A Light in the Darkness

Last evening I was able to undertake the 5.972-mile round trip hike to Fleetwood's Save-On-Foods and got some grocery shopping done, although I did forget a couple of items. And on my way home, it began raining fairly steadily.

I want to note that of late my left foot's arch area is getting sensitive. I hope it improves rather than deteriorates further.

My younger brother was at home when I got back ─ he was passed out in front of the T.V. However, he awoke before I joined him.

As for the shows that we watched once I activated our Android TV Box, the first was the final absolutely inconclusive episode eight ("The Homecoming") of The Kettering Incident. Fortunately I had feared as much, so I did not let on to my brother. He's not even going to remember that we were ever watching the series ─ his brain is too damaged from his excessive drinking. So in its place when we rotate around to it again, I will commence with the one-season series Bodyguard, and he'll have no idea why.

We also watched Chicago Fire ─ episode five ("Haunted House") of season 11.

Thereafter my brother called for "something short", so I tuned in 15 Storeys High ─ the premiere episode ("Vince the Shirker") of season or series two.

He then went off to his bedroom for the night, but I cannot remember when I got to bed ─ was it after 4 a.m.? Maybe. Before my shopping hike I had drunk a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) and a decent shot of Captain Morgan Dark Rum (40% alcohol); then over the evening with my brother I added three further cans of Cariboo Malt, and possibly even one of Bumper Crop Crisp Apple cider (7% alcohol).

I had not supped yet, so I ate before getting to bed, but I cannot recall what I had.

I rose this morning soon after 8 a.m. feeling much less than ideal. Already my brother was downstairs watching T.V., but I didn't join him until a little after 9 a.m.

Around 9:15 a.m. I put our Android TV Box back to work leading off with the following relatively short videos from Rumble's WTFLouie channel ─ the videos had all been published earlier today. I haven't the time to include their descriptions, so please visit any whose titles interest you:

Those were followed with a 39-minute video streamed November 15 at Rumble's ZeeeMedia channel: BREAKING: 2nd Aussie Council Launches DNA Contamination Hearing! - Dr. Julie Sladden.

Councillor Dr. Julie Sladden joins Maria Zeee to discuss a similar motion being bought on Tuesday 19th November by Tamar Council, following in the footsteps of Port Hedland Council which has drawn to attention the known DNA contamination in the COVID injections and called for suspension of the dangerous shots.

We were not to finish the final video due to want of time where my brother was concerned, so I will cite it once we are done with watching it.

My brother left afoot whilst I was having my early afternoon nap ─ he left to catch a bus and go to do his drinking. I emerged from my bedroom to discover that my wife had finally shown up.

She was to prepare a good supper for everyone of which I partook rather lightly, for I wanted to have a couple of drinks. My facilitation for doing so in the early evening was some T.V. here on my bedside computer. I tuned in Black Lightning ─ episode four ("The Book of Reconstruction: Chapter Four: A Light in the Darkness") of season four.

The series does have its moments, but I will be relieved once the final episode has been watched.

If interested, i switched back and forth well into the latter half of the episode between two related sources because each one would start freezing ─ only briefly, and then resume; but I don't appreciate this sort of nuisance and distraction. The sources were firstly at M4uHD.net here, and then I began switching with this StreamM4u.org link.

Anyway, I tidied away two cans of Cariboo Malt, and am presently feeling a pleasant buzz.

I intend to rise at 1:30 a.m. tonight to start readying for a five-mile+ walk. We have had no rain today ─ some sunshine, in fact; so it would be truly nice if I was able to get in some exercising early into the walk at the nearby elementary school playground. It would be a sure blessing if I was to find the equipment there completely dry, but that is not very reasonable to hope for at this late point of the year.

Condensation or dew is frequently an issue at nights now when there is no rain.

I must close work on this post ─ it is already 9:49 p.m., and I must soon get to bed.

And I do declare! I can hear the damned patter of some rain outside my open bedroom window.
