Head Case

Following last evening's 5.972-mile round trip hike to Fleetwood's Save-On-Foods ─ in which I hiked home better than five pounds in each hand ─ I was to sit up late with my younger brother and add to the can each of Cariboo Genuine draft beer (5.5% alcohol) and Bumper Crop Black Cherry cider (7% alcohol) that I had drunk before the hike.

Viz., I drank a further three cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) and another of Cariboo Genuine draft beer before finally having a supper just before going to bed ─ very poor timing, for the alcohol causes some dehydration while the immediate supper right after the drinking worsens the situation.

The evening's entertainment had begun with The last Kingdom ─ episode seven of season five.

Then it was The Orville ─ episode seven ("From Unknown Graves") of season three.

We finished up with Young Sheldon ─ episode 10 ("A Stunted Childhood and a Can of Fancy Mixed Nuts") of season two.

The latter stage of my sleep was adversely affected. It was probably around 3 a.m. when I got to bed (I made a 2:50 a.m. Facebook post), but I do not recall it. Similarly, I believe that it was near 8:30 a.m. this morning when I realized that it was morning and that I was not in bed having an afternoon nap, so I rose.

My younger brother was watching T.V. downstairs. Outside, it was pouring rain, and had been for some while.

A little after 9 a.m., I went downstairs to boil water for an instant coffee, and to join him for some T.V.

At his invitation, I activated our Android TV Box and led things off with two relatively short videos, both of which were published yesterday to Rumble's ProgressiveTruthSeekers channel:

As the COVID-19 plandemic continues to spread, a surprising trend has emerged: many healthcare workers are saying no to COVID vaccines.

Despite being on the frontlines of the plandemic, some healthcare professionals are choosing not to get vaccinated, citing concerns over safety, efficacy, and personal freedom.

In this video, we explore the reasons behind this trend and what it might mean for the future of the plandemic. From concerns over vaccine ingredients to fears of government overreach, we examine the complex issues driving this phenomenon.

Are healthcare workers saying no to COVID vaccines due to misinformation, or are they making an informed choice? Watch to find out.

The description for this second video is too ridiculously long in view of how short the video is, so I am not going to bother with reproducing any of it.

Nor did I "like" either of the videos ─ Dr. Philip McMillan in the first one still believes that people are dying of πŸ…’πŸ…žπŸ…₯πŸ…˜πŸ…“ instead of the πŸ…šπŸ…ΈπŸ…›πŸ…» πŸ†‚πŸ…—πŸ…ΎπŸ…£πŸ†‚, and that there are even good vaccines; so as far as I am concerned, he needs a whole lot further education before I will subscribe to his information.

I exceptionally enjoyed the rather long (1:19:10) video published October 31 at Rumble's Action4Canada channel: Urgent: Shut Down Islam Foreign Interference: Release Names, Foreclosures, NDP Destruction, Oct. 30, 2024.

Tanya Gaw, founder of Action4Canada, provides Weekly News Updates on current issues that are important to Canadians, as well as effective resources and actions to equip and empower citizens in protecting their rights and freedoms and defending this great nation! This week Tanya gives compelling evidence to stop foreign interference, provides a cautionary financial report, questions the fairness of the recent BC election and much more.

The only other video worth mentioning that we watched was a 19-minute video uploaded October 22, 2020, to YouTube's The Why Files channel: Top 10 Scariest Places You Can Actually Visit Right Now. IF YOU DARE.

Do you love scary places, haunted houses, abandoned mines and ghost towns? Have you ever noticed that every list for "Scariest Places in the World" or "Creepiest Locations in the US" contain places that you can't really visit?

We're going to fix that!

Here are the top 10 spookiest places in the United States that you can actually visit -- right now, today.

If you're on the East coast, West coast or in the middle of the country, we've found a ghostly, haunted location that you can check out right now -- if you dare.

Whether you're a serious paranormal investigator or just enjoy the darker side of history, this video has something for you.

Pretty good stuff! I don't believe in the spirits of the dead, but I certainly do believe in demons masquerading as those spirits.

My wife had today off work, so she has been home, She never emerged from her bedroom until after I was to bed for my early afternoon nap.

The morning rain ceased in the latter morning, but ever since it has been unpleasantly windy.

Before my brother left for a bus so that he could go drinking once he had been out in his van, running whatever errand(s) he felt he needed to attend to, he had me set up an appointment at his choice ICBC outlet so he could have his driver's licence ID and BC Medical Services Card replaced ─ he lost his wallet a few days ago ─ Friday, was it?

The earliest appointment available was 1:40 p.m. November 13.

Anyway, I am not having a particularly good day.

Probably due to last night's late supper, I have had little appetite today and never ate anything until after dark today ─ and not much even then. More important was my desire for an alcoholic boost to elevate me from the doldrums.

Towards that end I tuned in Prodigal Son ─ episode six ("Head Case") of season two ─ to justify two cans of Cariboo Malt.

It has helped, but looking at actresses Bellamy Young and a leggy scene with much younger Aurora Perrineau has not at all helped depress a resurgence in a problem I have with randiness ─ you see, I have not had physical intimacy with anyone since my wife last made overtures to me back in March 2013.

Yes, 'tis true ─ I have not had physical human intimacy in over 11½ years, and I'm not even a bloody monk or similar celibate.

Not so incidentally, my wife has been remote all day, so I have reacted in kind.

I intend an early five-mile+ walk in the wee a.m., so I want to be rising at 1:30 a.m. to begin readying for it. Filling up on beer is only going to prove disruptive of sleep due to the urinary urges. Still, I may yet hit a shot of Captain Morgan dark rum ─ no superfluous fluid there.

It is not yet even 7:45 p.m., but I am going to conclude and publish this post. I ought to be in bed in no more than two hours.
