Nothing at All

As a result of not getting away early enough last evening to the government liquor store, I didn't bother taking along my younger brother's monthly expenses reconciliation cheque to deposit at an ATM.

The two dozen cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) that I was to buy ─ and hike the two miles home ─ cost $41.45 with taxes. There was a chap in a wheelchair seated by the checkout ─ he was receiving poppy donations; so I paid the cashier with a $50 bill and 45¢ so that she could give me back an even $9 in change ─ all of which I then donated.

I now have a poppy to better help celebrate upcoming Remembrance Day. Last year I failed to coincide with anyone accepting donations, so I did not get to participate in that process.

I got back home a little ahead of my younger brother, so I had possession of the T.V. and had The Graham Norton Show all lined up to play via our Android TV Box. This time it was episode two of the current season 32.

Then we checked out a FOX News Channel to watch the proceedings in the American election that was taking place yesterday ─ Donald Trump at that point only needed something like two more electoral votes.

We watched the coverage for a short while, and then I tuned in Yellowstone ─ episode two ("Phantom Pain") of season four. As usual, it was extremely interesting.

Then when it was done, it was back to FOX, by which time Donald Trump had massacred Kamala Harris, as was proper. This truly was great good news for my brother and I, for idiot Kamala is a weak pawn and her win would have spelled the end for us all.

We finished up our T.V.-watching with an episode of American Ninja Warrior of the current year's season 16.

My brother retired to his bedroom for the night thereafter, but I had not yet supped, so I took care of that, and managed to get to bed ahead of 3 a.m., although I cannot say exactly when. The can of Bumper Crop Black Cherry cider (7% alcohol) and the stiff shot of Captain Morgan dark rum that I had drunk before my earlier walk had been 'supplemented' over the latter evening with three cans of Cariboo Malt, one of Cariboo Genuine draft beer (5.5% alcohol) and another of the black cherry cider, so memory is not by any means ideal.

Despite feeling ill slept / hungover this morning, I rose well before 8:30 a.m. By then my brother was downstairs watching T.V.

I joined him around 9:10 a.m. and quickly got his invitation to again put our Android TV Box to work, so I led us off with a nine-minute (9:22) video published yesterday at Rumble's AnitaKrishna channel: US Election, when we will know who wins?

In the US, the electoral college determines the winner. each state is worth a certain number of points. Mail in votes and in person votes will be counted as they can. Battleground states like Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia are key. Russian bomb threat in two Georgia voting stations earlier today Nov 5.

Most fortunately Anita's concerns ─ just like those of my brother and I ─ were to be assuaged by Donald Trump's victory last night.

Next up was a 41-minute (41:28) video published earlier today at Rumble's TheWarAgainstYou channel: The Dark Crusade Against the Cathars. History Documentary 2024 - Paul Wallis 11-3-2024.

Join Paul Wallis as he delves into the profound history of the Cathars, a 12th-century spiritual movement that championed peace, equality, and a deep connection to one's higher self.

In this insightful exploration, Paul examines how the Cathars' beliefs, which blended Platonic ideas of consciousness and spirituality, presented a compelling alternative to the structured hierarchies of medieval Catholicism.

Discover how the Cathars viewed themselves as the "Church of Love," fostering egalitarian communities, and how their mystical ideas about reincarnation, divine consciousness, and interdimensional guidance posed a significant challenge to the Catholic Church, ultimately leading to a brutal century-long crusade to eradicate them. How do echoes of Cathar thought resonate today?

The last video that we watched was the second half or so of one that we had to suspend late yesterday morning for want of adequate time. An hourlong (1:00:41), it had been published June 5, 2021, to BitChute's ittabena channel: USA Inc Corp Bankruptcy Updated Version.

I have not verified all this, i must be honest.  However, it is interestng.  I do know from recent research that Abraham Lincoln shredded the Constitution and sanctioned War Crimes by his Generals late in the war.  And I know that the Reconstruction had nothing to do with improving former slaves lives, but instead with securing the newly born Republican Party's place in the US and pillaging the South for everything that could be gotten.  I have no problem believing this video is true, though again, I have not actually verified all this yet.  We do get to see Zuckerberg admitting that it is not a vaccine.  Together with what we just learend from Fauci's emails - which many of us knew this time last year - COVID is not a virus, it is a tool of insurrection.

This was quite interesting, but far too complex to comprehend in just one exposure.

And so much for morning T.V.

I never sought my early afternoon nap until just after 2 p.m. this rather sunny day. When I roused and rose maybe 1¼ hours later, it was to discover my wife's bedroom door was closed ─ she had come home.

Six hours later, and she only exited her bedroom once ─ naturally, while I was shut up in the bathroom. I think that this forced her to go downstairs to use the toilet in the boys' den area, if that was her need.

But damn it ─ this is a bath day for me, and I don't want to be tying up the bathroom if she is going to require it.

She must have been partying somewhere for most of the night.

Apart from coffees, all I have eaten today has been a can (418 grammes) of pink salmon and a raw organic carrot ─ plus nutritional supplements.

It is presently just after 6:30 p.m., and I am going to go downstairs and watch a show as justification to have a couple of beers ─ I still feel rather rough. Even so, I want to rise at 1:30 a.m. overnight to ready for a five-mile+ walk, so I must not impair myself.

I also wish to report feeling most randy the past couple of days.

◘◘◘◘◘

I was to watch the series finale ("All or Nothing at All") of Chesapeake Shores. I teared up a few times during the episode ─ that initial can of Cariboo Malt certainly assisted, as did an early hospital scene where patriarch Mitch O'Brien learns that his grandson has been named after him.

This rather hit home because my parents both had a familial history of rather recycling first names, but that all ends with my brother and I. He only sired a daughter, while I have no children. Not only does our family name end with the two of us, but so does this tradition of perpetuating Christian names.

We are ... over. It all ends with us, although his daughter was named after our mother.

So who the Hell wouldn't want to drink?

I also put away a can of Cariboo Genuine draft beer, and a stiff shot of Captain Morgan dark rum.

My wife finally emerged from her bedroom at nigh 8:30 p.m. She went downstairs to muck about in the kitchen ... and then proceeded to harangue me because I dared to ....

Screw it. I have no desire to talk about it ─ I'm 𝓯𝓾𝓬𝓴𝓲𝓷' fed up. I'm going to have a fast bath and go to bed in order to be done with the miserable wretch.

Like I need this?

Aww, screw the bath! I'll just clean the essentials, and be done with it for today. I sure don't need her home for this! You like partying so damned much? Well, quit coming home just to bloody heal up ─ you're not all that matters in the world!
