Pick Your Poison

Despite what I wrote towards the conclusion of yesterday's post, I chose a different destination for that evening's walk. Initially I did think that I would undertake the longer walk that I wrote of, but that was while I was thinking of withdrawing money from my account at my financial institution's ATM.

Then as I walked, I remembered that my debit card only works for my joint account with my wife, and it had under $100 in it. I would have needed to first transfer the desired funds online here at home, for I have a private account where I keep the money that I don't want to have tempting my wife. I don't yet have a functioning debit card for that account.

So I settled on a trip over to Walmart at Surrey Place (Central City), which was only going to be a round trip hike of two miles. I had $50 in my wallet, so I used over half of that to purchase a pair of Wranger blue jeans.

I consoled myself that I would later have another walk ─ the 1½-mile round trip hike to the ATM once I transferred over funds so that I could withdraw $200.

I brought my jeans home, finding that my younger brother was already home and passed out in front of the T.V. My wife was also home from work at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time ─ she was busy in the kitchen.

Before I was set to go downstairs to join my brother so that we could watch a few of our shows, he revived and came upstairs to use the bathroom. I took that opportunity to take over the T.V. and put our Android TV Box into operation.

My first choice for us was The Graham Norton Show ─ episode three of the current season or series 32.

I followed that with The Morning Show ─ season three's episode eight ("DNF").

My plan was for yet one more show, but my brother ─ who occasionally lapsed into short bouts of unconsciousness through both The Graham Norton Show and The Morning Show ─ requested something short, so I chose the American sitcom Kath & Kim. It was to be episode two ("Respect") of the only season.

Afterwards my brother did watch quite a long chimpanzee documentary-style video on YouTube before he retired on up to his bedroom for the night.

To this point I had drunk three cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) and one can of Bumper Crop Crisp Apple cider (7% alcohol), but I chose to have a stiff shot of Captain Morgan Dark Rum (40% alcohol) ere readying for my hike to the ATM.

I never realized how intoxicated I was! Perhaps I was also very weary, but I was clearly staggering at times. Both going and coming back I did a little light jogging just to make time, for my gait was steadier jogging than it was walking.

I got the errand accomplished without incident. However, back home I became engaged with my youngest stepson who was about to head off to A&W ─ he insisted on buying me a hamburger, so I remained up a little longer than otherwise I would have. In fact, it may have been at least 4:30 a.m. before I finally got to bed.

It was just past 9 a.m. when I managed to commence my morning today, not much behind my brother who was just about to turn on the T.V.

Once I joined him, at his invitation I again put our Android TV Box into operation, and led us off with Odessa Orlewicz's latest video. At 44 minutes (44:18), it was published yesterday at Rumble's Libertytalkcanada channel: Locked And Loaded- Document Proves Plan For BirdFlu Pandemic Featuring Karen Kingston.

Document shows the PRE-PLAN, The MID PLAN, then the FULL ON Pandemic. Stockpiling since 2022... and the document admits they won't be safety testing the new "vaccines" and they will do a bait and switch of vaccines putting super dangerous ones in for the public. The document also admits they may not even "work" at all.

We were to watch just one further video. At nearly 1½ hours (1:26:46), it had been published earlier todaay at BitChute's TheWarAgainstYou channel: Alexander The Great - Lion Amongst Men • Asha Logos (Bonus: Speech at the 'Mutiny' at Opis).

It's said that Alexander slept with Homer's Iliad under his pillow. He considered the great heroes in these masterful epics peers, brothers, and kin and believed himself to be of their lineage.

He seemed to view their courage, competence, and feats of greatness as a friendly challenge—and he took up this challenge with every ounce of his being.

In our age, the great men of past eras who strove for glory and honor are often misunderstood as predominantly fueled by selfish motives. A broader picture view might suggest the polar opposite - such men rarely 'enjoyed' the decadent and hedonistic luxury and ease of life experienced by their opposite type, but instead chose lives of sporting hardship, struggle, and the active overcoming of obstacles.. in exchange for leaving a lasting imprint on the fabric of reality, serving to energize and inspire and provide a living example to all who might come after.

Without the living memory of heroes and great men as examples in all spheres - from the martial to the spiritual to the philosophical, and all in between - we risk normalizing and falling into mediocrity, laziness, and cowardice.. becoming a tired, dreary, unexceptional people, living for superficial pleasures, and thus doomed to be ruled by shopkeeps and merchants, and the self-serving administrators and politicians they inevitably come to so control. We risk manifesting a horizon free from lofty mountains, their peaks in rarefied air reaching up to the heavens, and instead experiencing a landscape of nothing but undifferentiated flatness. Dull, uninteresting, devoid of motivating or inspirational power.. and in a very real sense, dead.

Alexander was a mountain peak.. an example that nothing is impossible, to him who can simply come to know that nothing is impossible.

This was surprisingly interesting! It interested my brother enough that he delayed his midday bed rest rather than having to otherwise postpone watching the conclusion.

My wife was not to have to work until the latter afternoon again, but I never sought my afternoon nap until well past 2 p.m. and even though I rose no later than 3 p.m. (I believe), she had already gone. This rather weighed upon me, partly due to some alcohol withdrawal, I suspect.

My brother had left prior to my nap, intent on catching a bus so he could meet up with a drinking buddy at Donegal's Pub to play pool.

Spending the latter afternoon alone was a little depressing. Even though I had my Sabbath fast upcoming at dark, I yielded to the release some drink would have on my touch of the blues. So as dusk approached, I tuned in Batwoman here on my bedside computer ─ episode seven ("Pick Your Poison") of season three. During it, I managed to finish some supper and then drink a can of Cariboo Malt as well as a shot of Captain Morgan.

It definitely did lift me some.

And so did Nicole Kang ─ that young woman really attracts me! I even find her voice to be sexy in its nearly husky, purr-like tone.

But her in costume as Poison Ivy? Hot! Hot! Hot!

Again ... wow!

If interested, I watched the episode at this MoviesJoy.onl link.

I have a wee a.m. five-mile+ walk scheduled that I want to get up at 1:30 a.m. to ready for, so I must soon be to bed ─ it is already 9:33 p.m.
