Another Christmas Movie and Half Pint

It has become clear that if I do not start watching shows in the latter afternoon ─ if I am planning on more than one show ─ then the odds are strongly against me getting to bed sensibly early. I need to do so before the strike of 10 p.m., or else I am unlikely to be rising at 3 a.m. for what are essential outings to exercise my damaged right leg, as well as my upper body at the elementary school playground.

As the previous night, last night I was awake before my cellphone alarm had sounded, but I felt so direly in need of my sleep that I cancelled the setting in favour of remaining in bed for as long as I could.

I wonder if the two cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) and the glass tumbler of Sommet Rouge wine (12% alcohol) also helped place me into a state wherein I felt that I needed sleep's restoration more than I did a forced outing?

Notwithstanding, by 5 a.m. I was again awake and feeling too uneasy to be able to sleep further, so I rose, and soon was outside watering front yard garden plants. That's basically a half hour chore.

My youngest stepson was up. As far as I know, he has not taken a nap all day ─ he's nuts.

Anyway, after the watering of the plants beneath a heavily overcast sky and very cool temperatures, I fixed up a mug of hot and strong instant coffee with the works and enjoyed that here at my bedside computer.

Then some while after I had finished it, I ventured out to the backyard tool shed for some token exercising: two sets of pull-ups (2,1); two sets of chin-ups (2,1); and two sets of pull-ups between two bars (1,1) where I held the hang on the final pull-up for a 70-count.

I wish I had a regulation chin-up bar to exercise on ─ oh, to be financially well-off!

Of course I also performed the full flat-footed squats to work my damned wrecked right leg: 20 assisted squats, then 10 unassisted, and a final one held in the squat position for a 70-count before the nearly dreadful forced rise.

Towards 8 a.m. I felt it needful to return to bed for about an hour, and I was barely able to get possession of the T.V. just after 9 a.m. before my younger brother emerged from his bedroom. At that point I was all set to use our Android TV Box to play a 34-minute video uploaded yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: These two are wrecking the Canadian economy!

Interview with Professor Ian Lee from Sprott School of Business on the downfall of the Canadian Economy, directly linked to the policies of Trudeau, Guilbeault and Carney.

That was informative!

I followed it with a 28-minute (28:47) video published yesterday at Rumble's Libertytalkcanada channel: Bilderberg Secret Meetings Happening NOW Re: Depopulation & Mass Surveillance.

The SECRETIVE BILDERBERG meeting is on RIGHT NOW!! This includes mass surveillance tech giants, Canada's Philippe Champagne Minister Of National Revenue, and Chrystia Freeland. I interview documentary filmmaker Dan Dicks who is there RIGHT NOW about this years topics which include "depopulation and migration."
Dan's site: https://pressfortruth.ca/ and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcHszo89ugc

Then we finished watching the portion that remained of the video we cut short yesterday ─ it had been published to Rumble June 10: Joe Rogan Experience #2335 - Dr. Mary Talley Bowden.

And we finished up with over half of the remaining movie we had broken from maybe three days ago ─ 2011's The Shadows. Our source was uploaded May 13, 2015, to YouTube's Kings of Horror channel: The Shadows | FREE Full Horror Movie (1:19:51).

All I will say is that it was very poorly made. Why make a movie almost entirely in near-dark when it is so difficult to make out what's going on? Also, the sound seemed to fade to almost inaudible and then boom unnecessarily loud. And to be honest, my brother and I do not understand the ending.

In other words, we did not enjoy it. But at least it was free ─ it would have been robbery to have paid money to watch it.

This was apparently a full working day for my wife at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, so she emerged from her bedroom reasonably soon after 9:30 a.m. to shower and otherwise ready, and was away on her rather long drive a half hour or so later.

The morning remained overcast, but it sure did clear up in the afternoon. This sort of thing is useless to me ─ I cannot plan ahead where any sunning is concerned.

I had a decent early afternoon nap, getting back to bed fairly soon after my brother sought his own bed rest. I don't think he went anywhere in his van prior to leaving on foot to begin his daily inebriation by busing away to social drink somewhere.

I am going to break now at 5:06 p.m. for some exercise in my wife's vacant bedroom.

I also watched a movie ─ I did not plan on it, but it was a Christmas movie that I chose. Specifically, 2018's Hometown Christmas. It was good, but I am wondering if I may be spoiling myself by watching Christmas movies so frequently because I am not getting hit with the overwhelming sentimentality that they customarily smite me with.

I do not recollect feeling teary-eyed in the least.

I watched the first half of the movie at this OK.ru link, but its video quality kept morphing from blurry to excellent clarity, and it would sometimes freeze for a few seconds while the dialogue continued unaffected. So I abandoned that link in favour of this uFLIX link, and it played perfectly.

I was unfamiliar with lead actress Beverley Mitchell, but supporting actress Erin Cahill was somewhat familiar, even by name ─ she even shows up in my Blogger "labels", although I do not know the exact reason without researching it.

However, the big deal for me was that actress Melissa Gilbert ("Half Pint" of Little House on the Prairie) had a large supporting role. I cannot recall seeing her in many years, and she looked darned good to these old eyes!

I had a supper before watching the movie; and after the movie and the single can of Cariboo Malt I had drunk, I checked my watering needs of my wife's plants in the backyard.

It was still daylit and my brother was not yet back, so I then tuned in FBI ─ episode 13 ("Ring of Fire") of season six. Wikipedia says that this is the last appearance of Black character "Tiffany", although I saw no reason why ─ she was not killed off, injured, nor did she depart for other ventures.

It was a very investing episode, I must say ─ I bloody hate terrorists with all my heart.

My source was this GOOJARA.to link, and it played flawlessly. And I had another beer, naturally.

I heard my brother's loud voice quite early into the episode, so I knew he had come home.

Damn it! It has somehow gotten late yet again!

I am closing this post and publishing it here at 10:01 p.m.
