It was already a little past 10 p.m. last night when I got to bed, so I only reluctantly set my cellphone alarm for 3 a.m. to get me up for an outing to work my badly damaged right leg, and to have some exercise at the elementary school playground ⅜ or so of a mile away.
Yet a point arrived overnight when I felt suspiciously awake, so I peeked at the time. Incredulously, I found that it was only 1:44 a.m.
I settled back into bed to try and sleep, but after a few minutes I understood the futility of it ─ I could well still be awake by 3 a.m., so why not just get up and have an especially early start on things if I actually did not feel particularly ill rested?
When finally I did get on my way, I saw that my wife had not come home.
The sky was overcast, and the night air only vaguely cool. I hoped highly to find the playground equipment perfectly dry of condensation, for I felt nearly inspired that I might manage to break my recent opening bests at the school of six pull-ups.
But the equipment was damp.
And even when I used my bandana to vigorously wipe the two jungle gym monkey bars dry that I wanted to use, there just seemed to be an ineradicable vaguely damp sheen to the metal, almost as if it was sweating out a hint of moisture from within.
This was even borne out when I gripped a bar to begin a set of pull-ups ─ my hold almost imperceptibly began to slip such that I felt my hands not properly locked to the bar.
On top of that, I felt heavy.
Of late when I have managed opening sets of six pull-ups at the school, the first pull-up felt almost as if I was getting an assist in lifting me up.
But not this time ─ I was discouragingly heavy.
It was only with extreme effort that I managed four pull-ups as my maximum. However, all else were the same: two pull-ups in the next set, and then three and two chin-ups in the next two sets.
And maintaining the 30-count between sets, I had the usual single pull-up in both sets on the gymnastics-style rings.
Back again to the monkey bars, I managed a set of two pull-ups between two of the bars, holding the dead hang of the second pull-up for just a 35-count due to the miserable inexorable slippage. So I had one final set of another pull-up between the two bars, and held the hang on that one for another 35-count.
Over at the cement ramp, I got in seven slow full-range decline push-ups before readying and making the slow walk back to home.
I managed to get back to bed just ahead of 5 a.m., having dispensed with any watering of front yard garden plants, for the online weather forecast called for an overcast day with possible showers by evening and overnight. However, at this moment at 5:02 p.m., conditions outside seem no nearer to shedding any rain than they have all day long, and the bloody unrestrained South Asian brats are out in the cul-de-sac making their usual racket.
I'm hoping hard for rain ─ and soon. I want some peace this evening.
As for this morning, mine began ... let's just say around 8:15 a.m., for I now forget the actual time. My younger brother was already downstairs watching T.V., but I did not venture down to join him until a little after 9 a.m.
It was around 9:15 a.m. that he finally turned the T.V. over to me so that I could begin operating our Android TV Box. My lead choice was an hour-long (1:05:32) video published earlier today to Rumble's Action4Canada channel: The Covid Cover Up with Tanya Gaw and Dr Peter McCullough, June 25, 2025.
Dr Peter McCullough provides an update on the ongoing pursuit of justice related to the COVID-19 pandemic in America. A leading expert in cardiology and epidemiology, Dr McCullough has authored over 700 publications indexed in the National Library of Medicine and has played a prominent role in national and international discussions on the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines. He has testified multiple times before the US Senate, the European Parliament, and other governmental bodies, bringing attention to critical public health concerns.
In this episode of the Empower Hour we will review the risks and outcomes associated with COVID-19 vaccines such as myocarditis, rapid cancers, miscarriages, the phenomenon of vaccine shedding and promising updates on treatments.
There are a number of website references linked to at the actual video description, so refer to it if interested.
My next video choice was closer to two hours (1:51:58), and had been published two days ago to Rumble's The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast channel: Joe Rogan Experience #2341 - Bernie Sanders.
Bernie Sanders is the senior United States senator from Vermont. See him live on the Fighting Oligarchy tour.

We had to cut short on the video so that my brother could get some bed rest, but he only requested to "save it", so I expect that we'll finish watching it tomorrow.
I had quite a decent meal and then was to bed for my nap before my brother had yet re-emerged from his bedroom for the remainder of the day. When I did get up, it was (I think) after 2:30 p.m. and he and Bev were not here. It turned out that they had made a drive to the liquor store, but they also stopped at a medical clinic to see about some past medical test she had undergone but never got updated on.
The reason: the doctor she had been involved with had retired.
I don't know if anyone else at the clinic was able to tell her anything, but if she wants to make an appointment with a new doctor she has to do so online.
Isn't that wicked? You cannot even walk into one of these places anymore and get seen by a doctor!
Hey ─ at 5:35 p.m. I have discovered it to be lightly raining outside, and there are no noisy brats out there causing my disturbance!
I am going to break from this post now and have some exercise in my wife's vacant bedroom, and then round up a small supper and watch a couple of shows here on my bedside computer whilst enjoying a couple of cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol).
π£π£π£
I was wrong about much reprieve from the incessant whining and bawling of the infernal spoiled neighbourhood family's wretched coddled brats.
I can't bear this for all of the Summer and then the Fall ─ I will grow murderously berserk!
I was to watch two shows, and had as many cans of beer.
The first show was Too Close to Home ─ the season one episode eight finale ("The Evil Dragon").
Man, if I could be a young man again, I would cherish the honest love of any of those three sisters!
This was the first that I learned that their father had sexually abused all three of them, and that two of the sisters bore his children. I think that the two kids ─ teens Mac and Rebel ─ overheard and probably learned of this for the first time.
Also, Valerie ─ former Black best friend of 'fallen' Annie of the White House shame ─ got so damned bloody on my nerves with her endless mouthings-off and bitching that she was actually repelling me. And then she softened up and started acting coy with handsome and hulking Brody; and damned if Valerie didn't actually come across to me as seductive ─ she'd have had me!
What the Hell's wrong with me?
My source for the episode was this MoviesJoy.onl link.
Next I tuned in Severance ─ season two's episode five ("Trojan's Horse"). Actress Britt Lower as character "Helly" very much attracts me, but the scene where she returns to Lumon and storms about Lumon with such a physically powerful swagger that had I been younger, I would have displayed arousal ─ what a magnificent piece of phenomenal acting by her!
But I don't get her seeming appeal for character "Mark" ─ are the producers of the series making actor Adam Scott somehow look unnaturally weak-mouthed and weak-chinned, or does he really look that pathetically feeble?
How could a 'hot' woman like actress Britt Lower realistically be paired with such a pathetic-looking weakling like actor Adam Scott appears to be? There is not a shred of strong character in the guy's face ─ what's to be attracted to and loved there?
It makes no sense to me.
My source for the episode was this Tvids.tv link. As usual, I was prepared for what seemed likely to be a Stakes Casino website being forced open as a new browser, so I quickly shut it down before it loaded. That's the only complaint I presently have concerning Tvids.
My brother was still not home when the episode finished, but around 9:42 p.m. I finally heard him come into the house.
I am going to get to bed fairly soon once I publish this post, but I have no plans to rise early overnight for an outing because the elementary school playground equipment cannot surely be usable. Showers are still being shown as possible into the a.m., so I see no way for any useful drying to take place.
I need secure handholds in order to have optimized pull-ups, chin-ups, and dead hangs. Failing that, I may as well just sleep as best I can and have some token backyard tool shed exercise once it becomes light enough to see out there.
Enough blogging. It is 10:12 p.m.
