Wasted on the Young

The plan when I went to bed last evening was to sleep as best I could, remaining in bed in the stead of any outings.

It could have been as late as 10:30 p.m. when I got to bed, but by 5 a.m. this morning I was feeling sufficient discomfort preventing further sleep that I paid a visit to the toilet.

Then I returned to bed until finally checking the time and getting up for the morning at 6:25 a.m.

Around 7:30 a.m. I forced myself out to the backyard tool shed for some exercising ─ the usual 31 full flat-footed squats (20 assisted, 10 unassisted, and one held for a 75-count before forcing an unassisted rise) and six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups.

The pull-ups and chin-ups are not progressing. In truth, it is all I can manage to maintain my current bests with a 30-count between sets: three and then two pull-ups in the first two sets; the same numbers for the next two sets of chin-ups; and a single pull-up between a pair of bars in each of the last two sets, holding the dead hang of the very final pull-up for a 75-count.

By the way, my wife never came home last night ─ the second such consecutive night.

My younger brother was not to show himself this morning until possibly as late as 9:20 a.m., so I of course had control of the T.V.

We were to finish watching the video we left from late yestermorn ─ Joe Rogan's interview of Bernie Sanders. Honestly, Joe is more in tune with what's going on than is Bernie ─ by far.

Then I tuned in a 1½-hour video published June 23 to Rumble's Tucker Carlson channel: Thank God Trump Brokered a Ceasefire. That’s the Last Thing Mark Levin Wanted.

There is no video description, and the title does not indicate it, but Tucker's guest was Clayton Morris of Redacted fame.

That video brought us to maybe 11:20 a.m., but I risked tuning in a movie I had previously downloaded. Unfortunately, the sound was poor where dialogue was concerned, and there was one early stretch where the video had some defect and quit displaying properly. Between those flaws and my brother's inattentiveness that even had him leave the room for a couple or more minutes, he announced that he was going back to his bedroom for some rest because the movie "wasn't doing anything for [him]".

I will probably try to watch it later today here on my bedside computer and report on it afterwards if I manage to find a good source.

The day has been heavily overcast, but I haven't been monitoring it to see if it ever managed some rain nor if there were any sunny breaks.

At present it is 4:40 p.m. It is a bath day, but I think that I will first squeeze in some exercising in my wife's vacant bedroom ere taking care of that chore.

And so I will break here for now.

I watched the movie spoken of earlier, and found a better source. The download I had tried watching with my brother had featured French subtitles ─ even when there was unseen texting that was being displayed on the screen for the viewer to follow along; but since the downloaded movie only displayed French, the texting was unknown to me and my brother. Heck, I didn't even know that the French subtitling was because of the texting ─ I thought that maybe it related to some background conversation or something else.

The early part of the movie ─ maybe as much as 15 minutes ─ was quite uninteresting. It wasn't until a cute young blonde girl seemed to be getting set up for something sinister at a teen party.

I may as well mention the movie ─ 2011's Wasted on the Young. I had evidently downloaded it because it featured cute-as-Hell Geraldine Hakewill ("Chelsea" of T.V. series Wanted fame) in a supporting role.

The main star in this movie was a gorgeous young blonde named Adelaide Clemens whose Wikipedia image is most unflattering, for these are better photos of her:

I had believed that her character was murdered early into the movie, so it was a relief for me that she later reappeared.

I quite got into the movie, and withheld opening a Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) until at least the 28-minute point of the movie, so I made that one do for the movie's duration. However, I did not in the least understand what was going on at the movie's conclusion ─ the scene with the two step-brothers alone, the "evil" one tied to a chair or something with his brother seated next to him, while the former brother was thrashing about hysterically.

Only after later reading Wikipedia's description did I understand.

If interested, my movie's online source was this uFLIX.to link

After the video's conclusion I had my bath and then some supper.

My brother was still not back from wherever he had bused to do his nearly daily social drinking, so I next tuned in The Beautiful Life: TBL ─ episode four ("The Beautiful Triangle") of its only short season. My source was this VKvideo.ru link, although you should be able to find a source on YouTube.

The powerful sexuality of actress Jaime Murray keeps blowing me away!

The show allowed me another can of beer.

My brother was still not home at the episode's conclusion, but he soon did get here around 10 p.m., by which time I ensured that I was shut up here in my bedroom.

It's later than I anticipated ─ 11:21 p.m. ─ I have got to get to bed.
