There was no reason for it, but when my 3 a.m. cellphone alarm chimed, I felt too much in need of sleep to care to be getting up for any kind of walk; and so I cancelled the alarm and pursued further sleep.
Yet by 4:30 a.m. I was awake again and no longer able to sleep, so I rose before quite 5 a.m. Due to predicted rain showers, I never bothered watering the front yard garden plants.
What wrecked me? Was it that second can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) last evening? ─ I should have had sufficient time in bed to have been able to have risen to my alarm.
Up so early, I fixed up an equally early mug of strong instant coffee with the works.
Then later when it was done and things had settled, I took my stiffened frame out into the backyard and then into the tool shed for some exercise there. I dreaded attempting the intended six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups ─ the required muscles and joints felt far too inflexible and abused.
So for a change, I first performed the squats designed to work my badly damaged right leg ─ 20 assisted, 10 unassisted, and a final squat held for a 70-count before rising. All were full flat-footed squats.
These served to provide me an overall limbering up ─ much more than I ever imagined. Instead of a mere token session of pull-ups and chin-ups, I matched what I would have done as my current best over at the elementary school playground. That is, in the first two sets of pull-ups, three and then two repetitions; then the same for the next two sets of chin-ups. And even though I only managed the usual single pull-up between a pair of bars in the final two sets, I felt like I could possibly have managed two in the first set.
And of course, in the very final pull-up between the bars, I held the dead hang for (I think) at least a 75-count.
So this was all good stuff and most encouraging.
Back in the house, I eventually resorted to my bed to at least rest deeply, if not even nap.
It was after 8:30 a.m. when I correctly suspected that my younger brother was downstairs watching T.V., so I rose, but I never joined him until after 9 a.m. And when I did, he was quick to invite me to begin operating our Android TV Box.
I led us off with a three-minute video published earlier today to BitChute's UNDERSTANDING THE LIES channel: CHRIS SKY - ISRAEL DID 911.
Chris Sky - I cant believe in 2025 I have to explain this....
UTL COMMENT:- A good summary of the evidence that Israel was behind 9-11...
We are about to break into WWIII to defend a country that has attacked all of us on many occasions??? WTF???
MILLIONS CAN DIE!!
STOP THIS MADNESS NOW!!!!
THIS IS ISRAEL'S WAR - LEAVE THEM TO IT!!
The next video was to be our last. Even though listed at just about 1½ hours, the first 15 minutes was sheer filler until the two hosts were set to begin the show. By the time I had advanced our way past all of that unnecessary footage, my brother announced that he was going to head out and take the lawnmower back to the repair shop to fix whatever it was that they had foiled over the weekend that caused the machine to start leaking massive amounts of oil yesterday when my brother used it to mow our front lawn.
So the video had to await his return well over an hour later. In fact, it was more like 11 a.m. ere he was back.
This feature had been streamed yesterday to YouTube's Redacted channel: MASSIVE ESCALATION! TRUMP READY TO ATTACK IRAN, US AIRBASE HIT IN SYRIA, FALSE FLAGS INCOMING.
It certainly seems as if President Trump is in the process of failing all of those who had such hope in him as being someone who would finally be walking the right path as best as we might expect from a world leader.
The day hardly ever cleared up; and in fact, there have been a few brief and light rain showers. My brother had no desire to attempt mowing the backyard, nor did I see any purpose in attempting to sit outside ─ the cloud cover has often been too thick to allow of any beneficial Sun's rays.
My wife never had to work this morning, so she was home until into the afternoon. It was around 2:30 p.m. when she left us. By then, my brother had already gone ─ off to catch a bus to commence his daily social drinking.
By the way, late this morning I believe that my youngest stepson bought me a 650-gramme container of Olympic Krema yogourt. He asked if I wanted aught, so I had asked him to get me a 1.75-kilogramme tub if it was on sale ─ i.e., $11 or $12. He said nothing when he returned, but I have seen the smaller container in the fridge. I will not likely touch it until he identifies it to me as being mine.
It is only 3:57 p.m., but I am going to take a break from this post. I may even lie down, for my early afternoon nap seems insufficient.

I was probably back to bed for 40 - 45 minutes, then rallied and exercised in my wife's vacant bedroom despite not feeling up to it.
At that point there was a fair wind outside, with a lot of dark cloud.
I chose to watch a Christmas movie ─ 2018's Christmas Pen Pals. This one was to truly prove itself, for it had me in tears!
Lead actress Sarah Drew was unknown to me, but I sure did cotton to the young woman! Such emotive expressions ─ and soulful eyes. I could easily watch this one again with some company come next Christmas!
My source was this OK.ru link, and it played flawlessly.
I correctly believed that I heard my brother's voice ere the movie was done, even though it was well before 7 p.m. ─ which was almost the point when the movie ended.
By then the evening seemed sunny outside.
Obviously too early for bed. And because I had eaten my supper during the movie after finishing my first can of beer, I was only a little better than halfway through my second can at the movie's conclusion.
So there was nothing for it but for me to watch something else.
Next up ─ The Rookie. This time it was the premiere episode ("The Shot") of the seventh and series final season.
Boy, it was darned exciting! My source at this GOOJARA.to link froze or buffered just past 10 minutes, so I resorted to this MovieGO.io link because I was in no mood to mess around with a faulty source. This proved the correct move ─ no further issues with playback.
I put away three cans of Cariboo Malt overall beginning with the very good Christmas movie.
I am going to try and be abed by 9:30 p.m., so that's it blogging for me today at 9;26 p.m.
