False Gods

The day has been nothing unusual. Up to my 6 a.m. cellphone alarm to later have a feeble exercise session out in the backyard tool shed before my brother had yet emerged from his bedroom for the morning.

And after he did do so, I bided some time here at my bedside computer, having my day's first meal, and then joined him no earlier than 9:10 a.m. for some morning T.V.

At his invitation to commence operation of our R69 Plus Android 14 TV Box, I tried the three latest videos at BitChute's Progressive Truth Seekers channel, but despite none of them being long, I cancelled out of all three well before their completion because they simply were not to my liking.

But we did watch the three-minute (3:54) video uploaded yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: What makes someone cross so suddenly?

Anita is talking of political 'floor-crossing', not becoming angry ─ although floor-crossing is certainly infuriating to the people who despise the political party the floor-crossers switch over to.

The I tuned in Star Trek: Discovery ─ episode nine ("Project Daedalus") of season two. Too bad about the character Airiam, whose backstory was entirely unknown to me and still is rather unclear despite the clip of her being entirely human once.

We finished up with The Adventures of Robin Hood ─ episode 20 ("The Intruders") of season one. However, my source at RerunCentury.com lists it as episode 18.

After Robin Hood, I attempted for us to watch an old downloaded movie, but the volume could not be elevated high enough to clearly hear the dialogue. I am going to have to download a suitable audio booster app ─ I will do my best tomorrow early morning.

I never exercised in my wife's vacant bedroom this afternoon because she showed up as I rather thought she would. This apprehensive 'wait' in case she came home delayed me, of course; and then when she did show up around 3 p.m. to quickly do some cooking, she did leave towards 4 p.m. to work the latter part of today, but 4 p.m. is too late a start ─ I'm usually done by then, if not earlier.

I am apprehensive for other reasons as I type these words at 6:29 p.m. ─ it is time to tune in at least a couple of T.V. shows here on my bedside computer so I can get into a couple of cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol).

๐ŸŸจ๐ŸŸจ๐ŸŸจ๐ŸŸจ๐ŸŸจ

My first show resulted in my computer crashing twice very early into it ─ I hadn't even opened my first beer. So after the second reboot, I selected a different source, and this time it played through with no issue.

The show was Harlots ─ episode three of season three. My good source was this OK.ru link.

So Margaret Wells / Young is back in the picture ─ interesting. The episode was most involving, but the ending has me almost outraged ─ have they truly killed off the Charlotte Wells character in that great fall she took to what is likely a marble floor? I thoroughly enjoy looking at actress Jessica Brown Findlay ─ this had better not be the end of her presence, for only her T.V. sister Lucy as portrayed by actress Eloise Smyth came close to her beauty.

The episode was done by 7:55 p.m. at very latest.

My second ─ and excellent ─ show was done by 9:01 p.m., as was another can of beer. The show was The 100 ─ episode three ("False Gods") of season seven. My source played flawlessly. It was this TVSeries.video link.

I am so damned sick of the self-presented "false gods" populating governments today. We need a purge, but even though it is coming, most of the people throughout the world will die.

I meant to try to be to bed relatively early so I could achieve something tomorrow early morning, but it's not going to happen, and those two computer crashes sure never helped.

I am convinced now that I am going to have to figure out how to hook up a big screen computer monitor to my laptop to avoid this henceforth.

Well, it was time for a third show and a dozen or so ounces from a fresh four-litre box of Sommet Rouge wine.

Next up was an excellent episode of Titans ─ episode 11 ("E.L._.O.") of season two. My source at this second TVSeries.video link also played flawlessly.

It and my glass of wine were done by10:16 p.m., and I was to discover that my wife had recently gotten home.

The women in this Titan series are phenomenal, as are the actresses portraying them. And as much as I detest this nonsense about Bruce Wayne's spectre constantly interacting with Dick Grayson, I hope it's true that dead Jericho has survived his father's inadvertent back-stab.

I am going to brush my teeth and then soon thereafter get to bed once I shut down all that needs it on this computer.

How can I be at episode 11 of the second season of this series already?!

I expect that my wife will require access to my wine, dear girl ─ I'm happy to comply. As yet at 10:37 p.m., my brother still seems not to be home. Or if he is, then he is passed out in his chair near to Bev who is watching T.V. ─ I have heard some suspect coughing that might be my brother's.
