๐Ÿ˜ˆMy Burn Notice?๐Ÿ‘น

Following publication of yesterday's post, I immediately embraced iniquity and thus was not to bed until after 12:30 a.m., although I did not take specific note due to how self-disgusted I was that my early morning plans were kiboshed.

Maybe it was even later. I just cannot remember. At any rate, I never bothered to abuse myself further by setting my cellphone alarm.

Yet this morning I felt curious enough to be checking the time just ahead of 7 a.m. and decided to just get up for the morning. Nevertheless, there was to be no visit to the backyard tool shed for any exercise, for I had lost all heart, especially with this being Easter Monday and yesterday Easter Sunday.

I am anything but holy, I well know.

My younger brother emerged from his bedroom probably around 8:30 a.m. (or soon after) for his T.V. news shows and instant coffee. I waited until at least 9:10 a.m. before going downstairs to join him.

My wife had another full workday at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, so she was to emerge from her bedroom a little past 9:30 a.m. to shower and was away on her fairly long drive about a half hour later.

My brother was very quick to invite me to commence operation of our R95 Plus Android 14 TV Box, so I led off with an 11-minute (11:44) video uploaded earlier today to YouTube's AnitaK channel: Canada pledges billions to the company his wife works for! Alto High Speed Rail.

Next I tuned in a 1¼-hour (1:17:42) video uploaded April 3 to YouTube's Lara Logan channel: Crypto Legend Joby Weeks Speaks Out After Years Under House Arrest | Ep75 | Going Rogue w Lara Logan.

POLITICAL PRISONER OR COMMON CRIMINAL?
This crypto legend has been under house arrest for the past 5+ years without trial. Joby Weeks shares his journey from humble beginnings to entrepreneurial success in nutraceuticals and alternative currency. As with many other crypto pioneers, he found himself an enemy of the state. Subjected to harsh treatment and pretrial detention, Joby was coerced into a plea deal. Over five years later, the government still has not given him due process and his case remains unresolved. Joby is now speaking out publicly for the first time and his story may surprise you.

Then came SEAL Team ─ episode 11 ("Backwards in High Heels") of season two. Always dramatic!

We finished up with less than a half hour watched of a movie that we will have to pursue tomorrow or Wednesday, depending on what I may tune in first.

I had neglected to ascertain if my brother was going to do a beer run today or else put it off until tomorrow ─ he was back into his bedroom for more bed rest before I realized my neglect.

But I didn't dare spoil my midday nap for nothing ─ he still had as many as eight cans in his supply ─ so towards 12:20 p.m. I was back to bed for some more sleep.

After I was done, I rose to find that he was freshening up for the day's venture later to go social drinking, so I had my opportunity to confirm that he did not intend going for more beer until tomorrow at earliest. I alerted him that I would ride along too.

Around 2 p.m. he left to catch a bus and go social drinking.

Mid-afternoon I availed myself of my wife's vacant bedroom and had the usual afternoon light exercise session.

Right now it is 3:40 p.m., so I am going to be breaking from this post for my day's second and final meal, and then I will watch probably three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer while doing a little drinking, beginning with two cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol).

I am considering trying to rise at 3 a.m. and make the two-mile round trip hobble to my financial institution's nearest ATM and deposit the $282.03 monthly expenses reconciliation cheque that my brother had left last night for me to find early this morning on the living room coffee table.

So we shall see how early this evening I am able to make it to bed.

⭐⭐⭐

My first show and beer were done by 5:53 p.m. The show was Sight Unseen ─ episode nine ("Burn Notice") of the first season. My source was this M4uFree.cx link.

It was pretty good where the titular plot was concerned, but the rather gorgeous character Sonny intrigue got exceptionally heavy ─ I'm now keen to see what is going to fall out with all of that.

Beer and show number two were done by 6:51 p.m. This time the show was The Handmaid's Tale ─ episode five ("Chicago") of season four. My source was this CineGo.co link.

I was discouraged to see that The Handmaid's Tale was next on my roster, for I still cannot shake the dreary plodding of the first season that offered so little. But the second season has markedly picked up the pace, and this episode did not disappoint. Even so, they damned well better not have killed off feisty little one-eyed Janine ─ I've grown to care for her more than any other character. June generally pisses me off ─ I got bloody sick of all of those scenes of close-ups of her ugly bug-eyed staring into the camera. I could easily handle Janine being the lead character.

I had two or three ounces remaining in a bottle of Chronic Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Sir Real 2021 vintage (14.3% alcohol), so I poured that into a glass and filled it up so that the Sommet Rouge wine (12% alcohol) that I added from the four-litre wine box still in my wife's bedroom topped out to about 12 ounces.

Then I tuned in The Guardian ─ episode 14 ("Understand Your Man") of season two. My source was again an M4uFree.cx link. It was done by 8:03 p.m., and I could hear that my brother was downstairs with Bev.

This was a complex episode. I am left wondering if it is the last we'll be seeing of actress Farrah Fawcett's character. Was she consciously seeking to sexually lure in Nick in that one scene at his father's house?

Anyway, yeah, a lot more was going on in that difficult episode.

I probably should not have taken the time to watch a sitcom which ended at 8:54 p.m., but I still had a couple or so ounces of wine in my glass. I tuned in Sullivan & Son ─ episode three ("The Bar Birthday") of the first season. My source was this uFlix.to link.

It got at least one positive reaction out of me.

And that was it for shows and any drinking. I took the time to brush my teeth, and now at 9:42 p.m., I am about to publish this post and do my best to get to bed as near to 10 p.m. as I can.

By the way, my wife got home at 9:34 p.m.
