Who am I?

I am an obscure great-great-grandson of Oscar Adolphe Barcelo & Eugenie Beaudry of MontrΓ©al.

πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠ The Fall

Another major stumble. Karabella is too much.

It is already approaching 9:30 p.m., so I have no further time for blogging. I just needed to be open as to why.

Honestly, I can say nothing further. I have imbibed three glasses of red wine while watching the 2017 Christmas movie Karen Kingsbury's Maggie's Christmas Miracle ─ which was a delight. Actress Jill Wagner succeeded in strongly winning me over. Heck, even Laura Soltis as her T.V. mom got me interested.

And has actor Luke Macfarlane ever played a bad guy?

Anyway, I am just newly back from a short (one mile round trip) hike to Shoppers Drug Mart to buy an eight-pack of Christmas gift bags of various sizes, and I also bought a $20 lottery gift pack of scratch tickets ─ now I have one each for my brother and both of my stepsons.

The mortgage was successfully debited from my chequing account early this morning ─ thankfully, my gambling-addicted wife had yesterday off work and thus was not away to risk that fund that I had sallied forth around 7 p.m. to ensure was adequate by depositing several hundred dollars into the account at an ATM nearly a mile from here.

It was so damned cold due to an occasionally gusty wind that I was walking into at a number of degrees below freezing that I had my concerns that I was not going to be able to manage the errand. I had forgotten to bring my cellphone, and was seriously wondering how I was going to handle this seeming building emergency when I was unable to phone for help.

Also thankfully, the return trip had any wind behind me, and only for a relatively short distance to my left side, so the peril was manageable.

Enough. I must close this post ─ it is now already after 9:30 p.m.
