My Wife's Hospital Emergency

Early last evening I hiked the near-mile to my financial institution's ATM to withdraw $350 of the $400 that my wife had e-transferred to my chequing account ─ I was concerned that she would lapse later that night and gamble away the money, for she has a serious problem in that arena. At least if I had the cash in hand, it would not be accessible to her. To that end, I only keep enough money in the account to meet any upcoming automated debits, even though it requires me to hike to the ATM to make cash deposits or else withdrawals (I do not drive).

I was back home well before my younger brother showed up following his daily socializing.

Last evening's T.V. entertainment (as made possible through our Android TV Box) included the third episode of Z-Cars ("Handle with Care") from January 1962 that is presently available on YouTube in four parts, beginning here with Part 1 (the other three parts will play automatically in sequence).

And we also watched the premiere episode of the British T.V. series Shoestring ─ the episode ("Private Ear") was from 1979, and is also presently available on YouTube at this link.

Naturally we watched other shows of more recent vintage.

I rather expected that my wife was going to show up, even if overnight; but there was never any sign of ─ nor word from ─ her. And that was most peculiar. She was last here mid-afternoon this past Saturday when she left to go to work at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time.

Well, at 10:33 a.m. this morning I received this text from her:

Hi. I'm going to hospital now , have very high temperature 39.4 it's been fir 4 day now but no Covid

Awhile later, she texted me a photo of a hospital wrist band that she was wearing. I replied with questions, such as was she actually now an admitted patient? But I have heard nothing further from her.

I will have to ask one of her two sons if they have any updates ─ the eldest is at this moment using the bathroom, having gotten up early in the afternoon.

The day has been overcast and well above freezing ─ there is less and less snow, although we possibly still have a couple of inches. But it is water-soaked, and not frozen.

By the way, last evening my youngest stepson e-transferred $300 to the chequing account after I was home from making the $350 withdrawal, so for the remainder of the evening I wondered if my wife would pillage his contribution (for the monthly mortgage) later that night to gamble with.

Depending on what I learn of her hospital experience ─ whether she was admitted for a stay or not ─ I will likely venture out this evening and withdraw the lad's $300 as well. Why take chances?

Okay, I have now spoken with the older lad, and he never even knew that his mother said that she was sick ─ it was a surprise to him.

So maybe she only visited an emergency station to get checked out, and is now back staying wherever she was. All the more reason to withdraw that money!

In yesterday's post, I mentioned how I am feeling the strain of daily tackling six sets of pull-ups / chin-ups, trying to retain my recently attained repetition maximums in those sets of 5 - 2 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 2.

The chin-ups comprise the third and fourth sets. And just as has been the case the previous three days, I weighed myself as fully dressed as I would be while performing those exercises out in the backyard tool shed, and I seem to be holding at about 190 pounds.

Maybe an opening set of five pull-ups does not seem like many at all, but I do not have an actual chin-up bar out in that shed. Also, the 190 pounds that I am exercising with are on a body frame that is not quite five feet and 11 inches (180.34 centimetres) in height, and which is 73 years old.

The strain this morning was unpleasantly intense ─ there was nothing good about it. I am noticing some developing tendinitis of what is probably my bicep's tendon at the crook of my left elbow.

It may well be that pushing myself at my current age to perform these pull-ups and chin-ups on a daily basis is imprudent ─ a full day of recovery on occasion may be required.

I had the exercise this morning after my brother left to pick up his girlfriend Bev at 10 a.m. to drive her to work.

This morning we only had time for two videos, but we didn't even watch an hour's worth of the first ─ an upload yesterday to Rumble by 'We The People - Constitutional Conventions' that was almost 2¼ hours (2:14:49): Join Jess Hal from Missing Link for a Special Presentation with Dwayne Richard.

Previous video of Dwayne Richard for information Natural Law, Common Law, Admiralty Law, Maritime law,, Civil law and more

My brother wanted me to shut down the video ─ it probably made him feel too uncomfortable for being so damned complacent. The only activity he wants to bother himself with is to go out drinking every bloody day. He has no room in his life for prepping, or seeking to align with others who recognize what is coming.

In his own way, despite being enlightened about what is happening, he likes to stick his head in the sand for much of each day.

I will probably watch the remainder of the video over the course of the next day or two.

We did watch all of the second video ─ one of Dr. Mercola's, and which was uploaded to BitChute on September 14. This one was over 1½ hours (1:34:02): The Sordid Union Between Intelligence and Organized Crime- Interview with Whitney Webb.

In this interview, investigative journalist Whitney Webb discusses her book, “One Nation Under Blackmail: The Sordid Union Between Intelligence and Crime That Gave Rise to Jeffrey Epstein.” The book is so long, it was cut into two volumes. Volume 1 alone is 544 pages, but it’s a fascinating read and incredibly well-referenced.

Whitney Webb’s book, “One Nation Under Blackmail: The Sordid Union Between Intelligence and Crime That Gave Rise to Jeffrey Epstein,” provides the framework to understand not just the role and function of Epstein, but also, more broadly, the mess we’re now finding ourselves in.

Around the time of World War II, the intelligence community in the United States formalized its cooperation with organized crime syndicates in what was known as Operation Underworld, and the web of corruption grew from there.

Sexual blackmail was used by organized crime before U.S. intelligence even existed. As criminal factions and intelligence agencies developed a symbiotic relationship, blackmail became a tool to achieve their individual ends.

While it may appear as though organized crime is being combated, this is rarely ever the case. Stories of cracking down on organized crime are cover stories to hide what’s really happening, which is the consolidation of organized crime territory.

The incentive behind all this criminal activity is not merely the hoarding of money to live in the lap of luxury. It's about power and control over others. The good news is we can pull the plug on their plans.

Well, as I have worked on this post, at 4:56 p.m. my wife texted me:

Still here ⍰

And she included a photo of herself trying to sleep on some chairs:

Poor thing.

But what hospital is she in? And is she merely awaiting test results, or is this makeshift bed a temporary measure as she awaits assignment to a spare bed?

I haven't a clue.

I am going to close this post and have a bath ─ I may or may not venture out thereafter to visit the ATM.
