Chris Sky for Toronto Mayor

Twitter: Paul Joseph Watson

Last evening did not go as I had hoped. Before I had even quit my computer early in the evening, I realized that my younger brother was already home from his daily socializing and had the T.V. turned on.

He was home about two hours earlier than usual.

Resigned to having to watch T.V. with him far earlier than I cared to, I put our Android TV Box to work and led us off with an episode of Chicago Fire. Then came an episode each of Doc Martin, Chicago P.D., Imposters, The Man in the High Castle, and The Last O.G.

My brother even remained conscious throughout.

The worst of starting off our joint television viewing so darned early is that because I limit myself to two cans of the strong (8% alcohol) malt that I seek to keep myself supplied with, I have to remain dry until at least 9:45 p.m.

In other words, I have to endure at least two hours of sobriety in the presence of my already drunk brother. It does reduce my enjoyment of the shows watched while I am in that state.

Our morning T.V. fare today was of a different sort, beginning with the nearly two-hour (1:55:55) livestream on March 8 to Rumble's vivafrei channel: Interview with Chris Sky - Toronto Mayoral Candidate! Viva Frei Live!

Unfortunately, Viva Frei did not post any of the promised links, failing to even offer a description to the video.

I thoroughly enjoyed what Chris had to say, and I would definitely vote for him if I lived in the Toronto area.

All my brother and I had time for after Chris Sky was a 45-minute documentary I had found on YouTube: The Last Days of Charles I.

My brother then sought some bed rest, while I fixed up my first meal of the day. I ate that, and was into my own bed for a nap when I heard my brother emerge from his bedroom and leave for the day.

Note that he did have to leave this morning to pick up his girlfriend Bev at 10 a.m. to drive her to work, so that was my opportunity for some backyard tool shed exercising. First, though, I weighed myself while fully clothed and wearing a pair of runners: 197 pounds.

I was unable to achieve my current ceiling of repetitions in six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, so I added a set.

I did manage four repetitions in the first set, but only managed 1½ (and not three, which is my present maximum) for the second set. That second set was most peculiar, for I felt three repetitions might be possible. Yet as I was striving with the second repetition, I became overcome with sheer doubt such that all my strength fled and in despair I gave up on it.

So I had a third set of two repetitions, managed three chin-ups in a fourth set, two further chin-ups in a fifth set, and then two repetitions each in two sets of pull-ups between two bars, my hands each gripping the bar on the respective side of my head.

The 17 push-ups thereafter were nearly impossible. I lower myself until my thighs, torso, and chin just barely brush the floor, and then push up until my elbows lock. The latter several of these push-ups find me holding aloft for several seconds before I have rallied sufficient strength and endurance to attempt the next in sequence.

They are excruciating.

The day began as primarily overcast, and there was even a little rain. Nevertheless, the afternoon grew progressively sunny.

I intend a hot bath at some point after I am done with this post. Such baths seem to leave me physically depleted, so there will be no venturing anywhere this evening. I will be getting to bed relatively early so that I can better rise at 2 a.m. to quickly ready for one of my five-mile (minimum) walks.

Generally, I get to bed when I hear my brother arriving back home, which may be anywhere after 9 p.m. and ahead of 10 p.m. ─ that is the span of his norm.

We seem to have left the freezing level behind us for this part of the year where nighttime is concerned, so now my only fret is rain ─ I say that in the context of performing a half dozen sets of pull-ups and chin-ups early into my walks at an elementary school playground. I do not appreciate having to wear gloves while endeavouring repetitions ─ they are more easily achieved bare handed.

And now I see that I have some photos to post! I had checked earlier, and there were none.

What I am speaking of are photos posted by my wife to her Facebook account ─ she is presently in Rome, Italy. She left YVR early in the evening of January 23 to visit a sister of hers who lives in Rome.

Anyway, she posted the seven photos and six-second video below at 2:37 p.m. Pacific Time Zone, or 10:37 p.m. local Rome time, offering just this description:

😅มาดามอิตาลี่ 🇮🇹😜🤣

🇮🇹 มาอิตาลี่ กระเป๋ารุ่นนี้กำลังฮิต ของคนอายุครึ่งศตวรรษ 😝😜🤣

Facebook translated that as:

😅Madam Italy 🇮🇹😜🤣
🇮🇹 Come to Italy. This bag is a hit. For people who are half a century old 😝😜🤣

The reference in her description to "half a century old" related to her 50th birthday three or so weeks earlier.

Darned if I do not miss the girl!
