Rather than to have to rise at 2 a.m. for a decent walk tonight, I am instead going to have a walk this evening that may well be of much shorter duration, for I want to time it such that I arrive well before the 10 p.m. closing time of the nearest Save-On-Foods outlet that is maybe a mile from here at most.
I hate being abroad when there is much vehicular and pedestrian traffic about, so even a five-mile walk would probably require me to leave here by 7:30 p.m., and that is much too early for my liking. Consequently I may just leave here around 9 p.m. and essentially go directly to the store.
I could stop for a half dozen sets of pull-up and chin-ups at an elementary school playground along the way; and I could also deposit the monthly expenses reconciliation cheque that my younger brother wrote out to me last evening. It is only for $177.17, but everything helps.
He and I watched a little T.V. together this morning via our Android TV Box.
The first video worthy of note was just over an hour long (1:02:49): Cult Of The Medics - Chapter 3: THE NUREMBERG CODE.
Chapter Three explores the Nuremberg Trials, the Nuremberg Code, and individual rights. I then investigate the Jim Jones cult and compare it to current events. Discussions on BlackRock and Vanguard also featured.

We have been slowly working our way through this series.
The second and final video worthy of mention was 51 minutes and from BitChute: Rome: Power & Glory | Legions of Conquest (Episode 2).
Episode 2: In her early years Rome was a Democratic Republic, its military an army of Roman citizens. For centuries, it was the proud duty of every landowning Roman to serve in the name of the Eternal City, indeed this was the first army that was literally built as part of the fabric of the state. Even though these citizen soldiers were not professional fighting men, they were the best trained forces the world had ever seen.
These Roman soldiers had begun as defenders of their city, they became the most successful warriors in history. They conquered city after city, nation after nation, Rome was the greatest empire the world had ever known. In their brutal grasp, they held a huge expanse together for more than 1,000 years. "Legions Of Conquest" is a saga of proud men and almost unending triumph. It's the story of the conquest of the Roman Empire.
Again, this is another series we are slowly progressing through. It is very well done, I must say!
The earliest morning was quite cloudy, but the latter morning fast grew remarkably sunny, and that maintained well into the afternoon before growing overcast once more.
My brother had sought some bed rest following that last video, but he could not have napped ─ perhaps he was too keen on getting out and visiting a park while benefiting from the sunshine. He left for the day before I sought a nap.
That nap was a little later than usual, though. I had used Facebook to send my wife a message reminder that it was the 9th last month when a life insurance company sought to make a $399.04 debit from her chequing account. That account was presently at $20 and change, so I wanted to forewarn her to be prepared.
She is currently in Rome, Italy, having caught an early evening flight on January 23 to pay a visit to a sister of hers who lives there.
My message to her elicited an invitation from Facebook to accept a video call from her. Unfortunately, although my camera was hooked up, it was not set up to use ─ I had it buried beneath some items on my desk. Also, the microphone was in a similar state, and was shut off.
By the time I accessed these two devices, her call had been cancelled.
In response, I initiated a call with her, and for the first time since she left, we spoke to one another.
She asked me to loan her the $400 to cover that impending life insurance debit in four days, promising to repay it before this month's mortgage day (which will be around the 22nd).
I made that transfer.
I learned that she has been working part-time for maybe the past three weeks for her sister, and getting either 20€ or 25€ each time, if I am remembering correctly. As a result, she is actually earning some money and not just spending.
I also learned about her plan to next fly to Thailand to visit her mother in their home village ─ she wants to do this before returning to Canada. She hopes to leave Italy on April 4 for that trip.
I did not enquire, but I expect that she will want to visit in Thailand for at least a month.
Anyway, she posted a few photos today to her Facebook account.
These first three were posted at 3:13 a.m. Pacific Time Zone, or 12:13 p.m. local Rome time:
Google translated the name of the restaurant from my wife's Thai as being "Chao Thin", but a menu sign on the restaurant wall seems to read "CaffΓ© Valentini di Felli".
Thus, unless there are more than one of these restaurants in the city, surely this is the restaurant's Facebook account (a website link shown there does not presently seem functional).
Two other photos were posted at 5:31 a.m. Pacific Time Zone, or 2:31 p.m. local Rome (Italy) time:
I can identify the location ─ Aarun Thai Massage.
I know that my wife is eager to see her mother again, for I believe that my wife last visited Thailand back in 2018. Nevertheless, I know that she is going to miss her sister and friends she has made in Rome, for this is her second visit there.
I must bring this post to a close, for it is already past 7 p.m. ─ I have just finished a bath, and baths usually drain me. Consequently, I am going to lie down for a spell to best recover and have hope of any evening outing.
