There was ample time early last evening for me to tune in an Alicia Witt movie ─ 2010's Peep World. Unfortunately, Alicia's role was quite small, and her character was rather unwholesome. She played an actress romantically involved with a man just over 35 years her senior ─ or at least, that was the age range between the two actors in those roles.
Unpalatably, in her previous movie three years earlier, she was cast as a young woman with an attraction towards an older man who was also better than 35 years her senior ─ or again, that was the age difference in the two actors with those roles.
Perhaps I should not be griping or complaining, in view of how much Alicia appeals to me ─ after all, I am something over 25 years older than her. But then, this is life, and not a movie script ─ Alicia is undoubtedly only interested in her contemporaries, if not even men who are a little younger than her.
I used an app that I have downloaded into our Android TV Box to locate a source for the movie, and thereby watched it on T.V. Even so, the movie can be located at various online sources such as this one at PrimeWire.id, just as an example.
The feature was a comedy with considerable family and personal drama. I think, though, that in watching it alone, I was not performing any sort of disservice of deprivation to my brother ─ in fact, he likely would have given the movie (and me for choosing it) failing marks.
Granted, the movie was middling, and quite long enough at well under 1½ hours.
I enjoyed Kate Mara's performance. She was familiar to me, but I cannot certainly say why ─ no doubt from more than one previous role. I was struck by how much the good-looking lass's eyes resemble those of Sandra Bullock ─ her eyes were extremely expressive, and so dark and moist-appearing. Most attractive!
I also found myself attracted to Sarah Silverman, if not to her character so much. But I cannot say with any certainty that I recognized her from anything else she may have acted in. I have to confess that her bosom was most striking in the restaurant scene celebrating the birthday of the main family's patriarch.
My brother never arrived home from his daily socializing until after 10 p.m., so we were only to watch two of the series that we follow in common: Riverdale and A Touch of Frost (this latter was well over 1½ hours long).
Could commencing on my two cans of strong (8% alcohol) malt unusually late have been the main factor in me feeling somewhat hungover this morning, or was it simply bad sleep unrelated to the malt?
My supper begun just ahead of 8 p.m. had been quite light, despite not having consumed anything but water for around 28 hours, so it does not seem reasonable that it was at fault.
When my brother and I got together this morning for some T.V. just ahead of 10 a.m., I again used our Android TV Box and tuned in three older episodes (from page 5) of Rumble's The Why Files channel.
Then I tuned in the only other video that we were to watch ─ it was nearly two hours (1:54:45), and had been uploaded to Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson's Rumble channel two days ago: Western Financial Meltdown.
James Grundvig host of Unrestricted Truth on AMP Media joins us to talk about the recent chaos on the financial markets.
Dr. Michael Palmer will join us to to talk about what happens if there is a nuclear fallout.

My brother then sought bed rest before leaving for the day to socialize.
Note that during that latter video, his daughter Rene phoned him and confirmed something I had noticed posted in Facebook and drew his attention to late last evening ─ the 29-year-old lass had gotten engaged that day. According to her phone call this morning, the marriage date is unlikely to be any sooner than Summertime next year.
I am bringing this post to a close because this evening I plan to get our on a good walk that will most likely see me doing some grocery shopping. I may even make the 5.626-mile round trip hike to the nearest Real Canadian Superstore.
Although I have had my early afternoon nap ─ and it was deep, for when I first roused from it, I believed that I was waking up after a night's sleep ─ I will probably seek another nap, if possibly achieved. The store is open until 11 p.m., but I would want to leave home before my brother returns.
I am still working out exactly what outing I shall undertake, however.
The day has been overcast, so I hope I am not going to have to contend with any rain in the evening.
I have had no exercise today, so maybe I will tackle six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups at an elementary school playground early into whatever walk I undertake. Right now, though, I am feeling overfull from my noon hour first meal of the day. And my youngest stepson has already brought me a delicious-looking dish that I dare not presently add to my stomach's burden, or I will be too impaired for any exercising.
I think that I will be spared rain ─ a look outside shows that the Sun is displaying, but it is heavily shrouded with extremely thick haze that overstretches the sky.
More on all of this tomorrow, God allowing.
I am closing with some photos and maybe a couple of short videos that my wife uploaded to her Facebook account late yesterday ─ Pacific Time Zone. She is of course in Rome, Italy, visiting a sister of hers who lives there; so for her, those uploads were done eight hours later than what I see in Facebook ─ local Rome time is eight hours ahead of my time here in the Pacific Time Zone.
My best guess is that the photos were all taken at the Cantina Tirolese restaurant. The Facebook upload of the photos was done at 2:59 p.m. (Pacific Time Zone) yesterday, or 10:59 p.m. local Rome time.
Apart from my wife, only her nephew Daniel appears in the images:
And here are the two video clips.
The first is only 37 seconds long, and was taken within Cantina Tirolese:
The second video is 2¾ minutes long, and was taken after the foursome had enjoyed their meal and were walking back from the restaurant:
I think that the video beautifully captures how playful my wife can be. Truly, she can be a very lovely person.
