Scrambling

With the decision last evening to have an early a.m. hike overnight instead of doing anything similar last evening, I managed to catch another episode of Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area before I turned off the Android TV Box and T.V. and repaired here to my bedroom where I keep my computer.

It was episode 10 that I watched last evening, and I very much enjoyed it. I now cannot recall just how many episodes it took before I became immersed into the series, but the last several have been engrossing.

The series of course succeeds an original Spanish series that had a five-season run, and although I may give it a go at some point, I do not find myself necessarily interested. After all, what helps make the Korean series so darned involving are the Korean actors and actresses. They have become the characters for me, so watching a bunch of unknown (to me) Spanish actors presenting as the same characters does not whet my appetite in the least.

Anyway, it may have been a little past 9:30 p.m. when I got to bed, with my cellphone alarm set for 2 a.m. to get me up to speedily ready for that five-mile (minimum) walk. I heard my younger brother arrive home soon after I had retired.

I slept ill, and was awake when my alarm sounded. It quite shocked and annoyed me, for I did not feel especially hale. I had no desire for a damned walk.

But I hustled up immediately and began readying.

It was with irritation that I soon realized that my eldest stepson was downstairs at the dining table watching videos or movies on his laptop or tablet. I had hoped to see if a pair of one of the lads' runners might be more comfortable footwear than my ageing boots, but this assessment was denied me.

At least I believe that I managed to slip away unnoticed by him, and it was 2:17 a.m. when I was streetside and my walk begun.

The sky was a blend of light cloud and dark clear stretches, with a bright moon. All was dry and still.

I had weighed myself just prior to departing so that I would know exactly how much fully-clothed poundage I would be working with when I stopped at a fairly nearby elementary school playground to endeavour six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups: 205 miserable pounds!

That is a lot of weight for most people to be working with, let alone a 73-year-old who is not quite five feet and 11 inches in height.

Fortunately the metal bars I exercised with were dry and tolerably cold for the short time that I needed to handle them for each set, and thus my repetitions were three in the first set, and then two in each of the remaining five sets.

It was serious work! Notwithstanding, it did energize me and loosened me up.

Note, however, that when I passed through the school property on my return and I was nursing thoughts of maybe trying for a final set of pull-ups, I had become so infernally stiffened that I could not raise my left arm overhead. The shoulder has been seriously damaged at least a couple of times over the years without any medical attention thereafter, so it is both weaker and easily aggravated from pronounced use.

Anyway, after first leaving the school property to continue with my walk, apart from soon spooking a cat and the wild rabbit it was giving attention to ─ and there was another cat in the near distance that also dashed from my advance ─ I cannot recall anything else of note about the walk.

I put in some laboured, pathetic jogging over much of the span of 100th Avenue between Green Timbers Access (Google Map) and 148th Street (which I was to turn onto), but that was the only direct challenge to my damaged knees that I cared to invoke. It was also a reason I had hoped to have on a pair of runners.

Another reason is that the small left toe that I think I broke three weeks ago (as of this evening) can often burn with an excruciating fire after being encased in a boot for much walking. There is still some swelling. A pair of runners might be gentler footwear.

Whatever the case, I was back home and outside the locked front door of the dark house by 4:17 a.m., and it was shortly after 5 a.m. when I returned to bed.

My morning was to begin about three hours later ─ that also was approximately when my younger brother seemed to be commencing his morning.

When we got together for some morning T.V., we only had time for two videos ─ both were livestreams yesterday by Odessa Orlewitz.

The first video was of 42 minutes' duration (and of much less interest to me than the far longer second video): More...On Matt Hancock's Whats App Messages. Other Politicians Scrambling To Delete Messages.

This will be known as LockdownGate. The release of 100,000 WhatsApp messages by a journalist that was initially working with Hancock, will prove the grand scale h0ax of this being anything more than a flu with the same #s as other years. Ego, power and psych0pathic behavior shown by these paras!tes all while laughing at the humans buying their crap.

To be perfectly honest, I almost detest Odessa's videos when all she does is read articles to the viewers. It is nearly unbearably boring.

The second video exceeded 2¼ hours (2:21:36), but it featured three consecutive guests: Interview- The Club Of Rome's Attack On Canadian Schools.

!nterview with 3 separate guests. A teacher of 30 years being fired for refusing to stretch the truth to students, A trustee who gives advice on tactics to hold the schools accountable, and an author who wants to give hope to our worldwide dilemma.

I found the video at that source to be too difficult for me to adjust and work with, so I soon had to resort to its YouTube source.

I do not understand why the three guests are not identified in that description, but in order of their appearances, they were Jim McMurtry, Dr. Darrell Furgason, and Donald Lee.

As often happens when my brother seeks some bed rest ere a video has quite finished, by the time I am into bed in search of a nap, he leaves for the day while I am in that state. There is never knowing with certainty just when he will complete his daily socializing and be home again, but it is usually into the early part of the latter evening.

I will watch some T.V. with him this evening ─ and have a couple of cans of the strong (8% alcohol) malt that I try to keep myself stocked with ─ so there will not be an early evening of it for me today.

The day has been quite a blend of sunshine and cloud, but the cloud seemed to prevail in the latter afternoon.
