An Encounter in the Night

Since I wish to get out for an early evening walk, this post cannot take up too much of my time.

I rose at 2 a.m. last night for a walk, and succeeded in having it between rainy periods. I had weighed in at about 188 pounds fully clothed before leaving at 2:34 a.m., but I never bothered stopping for exercise at the nearby elementary school playground. I justified that the equipment would all be wet.

Besides, my brother would be scheduled to be heading off around 10:10 a.m. for about 20 minutes to pickup his girlfriend Bev to drive her to work, so I would have opportunity then to exercise out in the backyard tool shed.

I was back home from my walk by 4:19 a.m., so I made very good time.

I had one very interesting interlude.

I had left 148th Street and was walking along forested 96th Avenue (Google Map), destined for Green Timbers Way.

I had not travelled too far at all when a car that had passed me suddenly started to dramatically slow down well ahead of me, and then stopped. I had no desire to be offered a ride, nor to have any other association with any occupants, so I was prepared to melt into the forest if the vehicle did not proceed.

Then I noticed a figure that had crossed in front of the vehicle from the wide treed median, attaining the sidewalk I was on, and the car then continued.

There is no sidewalk on the opposite side of 96th Avenue, so I had no idea where the figure had come from ─ there are no buildings or side streets until Green Timbers Way.

I assumed that perhaps it was some homeless person, possibly someone resident somewhere in the forest. So I stood in the gloom to see in which direction this person was about to walk.

The choice was to be towards me.

I know that I had not yet been noticed, so I could have ducked into the forest, but I decided not to. Instead, I continued with my walk.

To my delighted surprise, the figure turned out to be a woman in a fairly short skirt. But why was she coming from the opposite side of the street and have the car stop? There is only infrequent traffic at that time of night.

Could she have been a passenger? That made scant sense ─ why would she disembark the car there, surrounded only by forest?

When she finally realized someone was coming towards her, I am sure she was uneasy. She stopped once, probably unsure what she should do. But there was nowhere else for her to go.

So we were to coincide; and to lend her some ease, in a very kindly voice I enquired of her if she was okay? She claimed that she was, and she sweetly asked the same question of me, so I responded likewise.

By this time we had passed one another, and were stopped facing toward each other.

She had quite a nice voice, and she looked to be a most comforting figure in her shortish skirt ─ at least, that was the reaction felt by this deprived male who has not had any physical human intimacy in 11 years. That was the last time that my wife and I had any sexual contact.

The woman then asked if I might happen to have a lighter, but I apologized that I did not.

So she thanked me anyway, saying that it was okay that I was unable to oblige her.

Likely I could have prolonged our discourse ─ in fact, I expect that I surely could have. But this was all unplanned. I was not dressed for any sort of social involvement, and I only had $20 on me. I felt myself to be below her station.

Besides, I was bearing my Titan baton flashlight stun gun, trying to disguise it as much as I could by holding in the same hand the empty tote bag that I normally carry the device in. I was not using the flashlight, but I know that the sight of its metallic length is somewhat daunting to people ─ that is why I carry it in a tote bag as a rule, and not openly when walking in the streets.

Thus, I did not wish to appear threatening ─ we were surrounded by forest, after all. Truly, she was at my mercy there in the deep gloom, but I did not want her to feel overmuch as if she was.

So I wished her well, and turned about and continued on my way, and she did similarly in the opposite direction. I did anon look back after her before we were no longer in sight of one another, and it did seem as if she had stopped and might be looking back in my direction.

I thought much about this welcome figure in my night's walk.

Anyway, as usual, after some time home I returned to bed, rising anew towards 8:30 a.m. And shortly after 9 a.m., I ventured downstairs to boil water for a mug of instant coffee and to join my younger brother for some T.V.

When he greenlighted me to put our Android TV Box into play, I led us off with Odessa Orlewicz's nearly two-hour (1:52:11) video from two days ago: Interview- Celeste Solum Ex FEMA Staff/Whistleblower Shows Changes FEMA Is Making.

"Interview- Ex FEMA Employee/Whistleblower Celeste Solum Shows Changes FEMA Is Making" that coincides with the UN agenda. Everything seems to be falling into place prior to their takeover agenda. She also shows a bizarre site that shows the carbon made human like robots they are making and much more... celestialreport.com;

I must say that the portrayal by Celeste of what is afoot and still to come was much darker than what we usually watch.

All else that we were to watch was an episode of My Family ─ episode eight ("Age of Romance") of season or series two. That one had some good laughs!

My brother then had some bed rest, but left for the day to socialize before I sought my short nap that proved dreadfully difficult to forsake from afterwards ─ I desired more sleep, but did not feel that I had the time for more.

For a change the afternoon sky was blue, but marked with masses of often dark clouds, Normally we have mostly overcast skies with mere breaks in the cover.

It is 7 p.m. at present, so I am going to close this post and get ready for my walk. As yet I am not fully certain of my route.
