Last evening's walk was not the Fleetwood haul, for it was already 7:45 p.m. when I left home and the government liquor store there would close at 9 p.m., and I had no idea how long the trip might take.
Instead, I opted for the nearer government liquor store a 'mere' four-mile round trip walk from home.
Darned good thing! I was to discover that the extended hot bath I had earlier taken had disabled me for vigorous walking ─ my joints felt weakened, which was inconvenient for things like my ankles and knees.
I lacked the ability to drive myself physically, and my toes even felt tender ─ no doubt softened from the hot water they had soaked in.
Anyway, I bought a dozen cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol), and was back home again before my younger brother had shown up following his daily socializing.
As a result, I had control of the T.V. when he did get home. And fortunately, he managed to remain conscious all evening as far as I had noticed.
Using our Android TV Box, I tuned in an episode each of three of the T.V. series that we follow.
First was the single-season five-episode finale of the miniseries SS-GB. I must confess that even after reading Wikipedia's explanation of that episode, I still find the ending to be ambiguous. It is bad enough that we do not know what Archer's actual fate was, nor wounded police sergeant Scottish Harry Wood. And where did American reporter Barbara abruptly wander away to after being rescued from imminent torture by the Nazis?
It seems clear that a sequel must have been under consideration, but it was not developed.
I found it annoying that lead actor Sam Riley always seemed to speak in an almost theatrical whisper ─ just like equally annoying lead actor Adam PΓ₯lsson of Young Wallander. There is nothing cool about this speaking style!
The next show we watched was the premiere episode of The Rig. I must say, actress Emily Hampshire looks yummy in bright red lipstick and that tight white shirt! I tuned in the series because of her, so it was a surprise to discover that it included actor Martin Compston of Line of Duty fame.
The ongoing supernatural tension in the episode works most effectively.
The final show we were to watch was The Good Karma Hospital ─ episode five of season or series four. Sadly ─ for I will miss the characters and storylines ─ there is to be just one further episode.
My wife came home properly following her latter half day of work at the Thai restaurant. She had another such working day today, but I will be in bed by the time she shows up ─ I will be rising at 1:30 a.m. to begin readying for a five-mile+ walk.
It seems to me that I did not get to bed last night until after 3 a.m. And my morning began around 8:30 a.m. when I rose. My brother was already downstairs watching T.V.
I joined him around 9:15 a.m., and soon had our Android TV Box in operation for tuning in a 35-minute (34:57) video added yesterday to Rumble's A Warrior Calls channel: CHRISTOPHER JAMES ON THE HRVOJE MORIΔ SHOW - 29 FEBRUARY 2024.

Next was a 10-minute (9:53) video added two days ago to Rumble's ProgressiveTruthSeekers channel: Soldiers BURN THEIR UNIFORMS At Aaron Bushnell Rally.
U.S. and ISRAEL IMPERIALISM - FOLLOW THE MONEY
The Jimmy Dore Show
At a recent rally in support of airman Aaron Bushnell who staged a dramatic self-immolation in front of the Israeli embassy in DC to protest the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Other active duty service members lit their uniforms on fire.
New York Police was also out in force, in riot gear, no less, at a recent Times Square rally in support of Palestinians and to recognize Bushnell's ultimate sacrifice.
Jimmy and Americans' Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss the continuing impact Aaron Bushnell is having.
This is the first that I have heard of Aaron Bushnell or his suicide.
The I tuned in a 33-minute (33:43) video added March 4 to Rumble's Maryann Gebauer channel: Deanna McLeod.
Deanna McLeod is the principal and founder of Kaleidoscope Strategic Inc., an independent medical research firm that supports Canadian clinicians in preparing world class evidence-based reviews that advance patient care nationally and internationally in the areas of oncology, premed immunology and psychology. In March 2021, she launched COVID Sense to equip the non-scientific person with the skills required to interpret COVID-19 data and make informed choices for themselves and others. She has authored over 46 scientific publications. Ms. McLeod is also the Chair of the Strategic Advisory Committee of the CCCA.

I've seen Deanna before, but not in a long while. She seems considerably more aware.
The final show we watched was an episode of The Last O.G. ─ season three's episode seven ("In Da Club").
My brother thereafter returned to his bedroom for a short rest before leaving for the day while I was having my needed early afternoon nap. I had not had my day's first meal, preferring to catch my nap before becoming involved with my wife who was newly risen and shut up into the bathroom.
She was to leave here for work maybe around 3:20 p.m., but not before beseeching $150 from me that she promised to repay when she got paid ─ she claimed that they were late doing so.
We shall see.
With my Sabbath fast scheduled to start at sunset, I opted to eat my final meal quite early while watching a 2017 Christmas movie ─ Christmas Solo. Despite lead actress Kelli Williams's considerable list of acting credits, I cannot claim that she is at all familiar to me. However, I see now that on December 1, 2019, I wrote of watching her in the 2004 Christmas movie A Boyfriend for Christmas, so I can likely be forgiven for not recalling her.
I wrote rather glowingly of Kelli that day, and had watched the movie the day before.
Instead of Christmas Solo this latter afternoon, I should have completed and filed the tax returns for my wife and I.
I am also getting guilted into phoning Sandy, ladyfriend of my late old friend William G ─ Sandy left me this Facebook message at 10:37 a.m. today:
How are you doing??π
I miss my friend ******.
I never hear from you anymore these days.
Christmas time never really heard from you either. You usually talk to me on phone before Christmas usually.
But this last Christmas was at least a week or 2 later. But you still talked to me. And I appreciate your calls ******.
I can never reach you if I called you. Stupid answering machine is always on. I hate answering machines. And I try not to leave any messages I just hang up.
I hate being tied up with telephone conversations ─ they are so time-wasting.
Darn it ─ already it is past 9:45 p.m., so I must end this post. I may have to set my alarm for 2 or 2:30 a.m.
