Private Lives

Last evening's five-mile+ walk was successful, and I got some grocery shopping done at Save-On-Foods when I was approximately a mile from returning home.

My younger brother was home by then and watching T.V.

Once I got around to joining him with three cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol), he was quick to request that I put our Android TV Box to work.

I led things off with an episode of A Touch of Frost ─ episode three ("Private Lives") of season or series six.

It was a good episode, but the only working source I was able to find in the four main streaming apps that I use failed us something over halfway through, so I had to resort to the Firefox app and the Yandex.com search engine to locate an excellent source for the episode at this link at UpMovies.net.

The episode well exceeded 1½ hours, so we only had time for one further show. I selected an episode of The Graham Norton Show ─ episode 19 of season or series 31

This episode was the finale episode of the season, so I will have to settle on other fare for lighter entertainment that is not sitcom.

My wife had come home during A Touch of Frost after working the day at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time.

I am now unsure when it was that I made it to bed, but it would not at all surprise me if it was around 3 a.m.

My morning commenced nigh 8:30 a.m., although I hardly felt hale and well slept. My brother emerged from his bedroom around the same time. However, I did not join him for T.V. until at least 9:15 a.m.

When he turned the T.V. over to me, I used our Android TV Box to tune in what was then the latest ─ and surprisingly short (under a half hour) ─ video streamed yesterday at Rumble's Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson channel: 🚨BREAKING! 🚨UK Blocks Puberty Blockers.

Big news out of the UK today as they have banned the use of puberty blockers. Fireworks in the US as Special Counsel Robert Hur testifies about his report on President Biden’s cognitive abilities.

There was nothing in the show that I can recall of any discussion of President Biden's senility.

Anyway, soon after the video ended, my brother left to both pick up his girlfriend Bev and drive her to work and to also have a haircut. Consequently I had more time than usual ─ and it was needed ─ to gear myself up for some exercise out in the backyard tool shed.

After my brother was back at some point after 11 a.m., we soon resumed a recorded movie that was well over half done when we parted from it two days ago ─ 2014's Away from Here featuring the fabulous Alicia Witt.

I now do not recall what my original recording source for the movie was, but it is presently also available here at UpMovies if you are interested.

We had time thereafter for an episode of Barry ─ season four's episode four ("it takes a psycho").

This series has become exceptionally confusing.

Following the episode, my brother returned to his bedroom for some bed rest. My wife rose before I sought my own nap, but that opportunity soon enough was presented, although the nap was shorter than I needed. My brother was gone for the day by then.

This has been a day off work for my wife, so she has been home apart from one or two fairly short trips out on errands.

The day has been dry, with a fair amount of sunshine. My wife took advantage to do some gardening and vacuuming of her car ─ plus further vacuuming here in the house, bless her! It's probably a first for my bedroom in quite a number of months.

Enough blogging for today. I will be rising at 1:30 a.m. for a five-mile+ walk, and it is now nearly 9:30 p.m. Time for bed!
