My younger brother did bring his girlfriend Bev here mid-afternoon to have her apply online for E.I. But after she spent nigh an hour bumbling about ─ I remained as aloof as possible, only encroaching when she clearly required some help ─ she clicked something she should not have, and was unable to return to her application.
She closed out of the browser, and we returned to the application area and submitted a temporary passcode that she had been given early into the previous application process, but the declaration was presented that her identity could not be validated and she needed to apply anew.
She was so flustered that she gave up.
And so she and my brother are to come back tomorrow ─ this time I said I would make the submission for her, if she did not mind me having the access to her data.
Last evening went badly for me.
My accursed addiction was entertained and I was not to get to bed until just past 10:30 p.m., so I reset my cellphone alarm from 1:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. to get me up to ready for a five-mile+ walk.
It was to happen that I found myself awake ahead of 2 a.m., so I rose then.
By the time I was all set to go, my fully clothed weight was around 188 pounds, but I was to discover that a mist-like rain was in play and everything was wet. I decided to bypass the elementary school playground and not exercise there.
However, it was not just due to the wet ─ I also had a later start than I cared to have. Just as I was about to open the outer screen (it's actually screen and glass) door to leave on my walk, I noticed a skunk rooting about in the lawn, and only a dozen feet in front of the door.
I stood for some minutes fruitlessly waiting for it to vacate the area, and then decided to leave anyway. The noisy opening of that outer door got the creature scampering off, but it was 2:49 a.m.
My walk otherwise was largely featureless, and I was back home by 4:35 a.m. ─ very good time.
I believe that my renewed bedtime was close to 6 a.m., and I was to acquire another further two or so hours in bed.
It's still not enough ─ even with an early afternoon nap that was incomplete, I am dreadfully weary as my afternoon comes to a close. I was intending an evening walk, but that will not be possible unless I get an actual nap. Earlier I was too uneasy because of expecting my brother to be showing up with Bev ─ he had suggested 2 p.m.
He and I watched a few videos over the bulk of the latter morning via our Android TV Box.
First was a 24-minute (24:28) feature posted by Dr. William Makis on his Substack early today: VIDEO - How the Deep state really played Trump - who was the chief engineer of the lockdowns? (Mar.13, 2024).
The answer to that question was apparently Deborah Birx.
The next two videos were at Dr. Peter McCullough's Substack.
The first was only six minutes (6:07): FDA Deceived America on Ivermectin, CDC Covering Up Vaccine Myocarditis, and Much More.
The second video was not too shy of 1½ hours (1:23:55), and had been published yesterday: What Happened to the Rights of Englishmen?
Mike Fairclough: The only school principal in the UK to oppose Covid tyranny.
This ended before 11:30 a.m., but my brother was already set for some bed rest. I had my day's substantial first meal and was myself to bed by maybe 12:30 p.m., but as said earlier, I never managed well due to some unease about when my brother might return with Bev after he left (he left while I was abed).
I feel bad for not stepping in to offer Bev more help than I did, but I will atone for that tomorrow.
It is now just past 6 p.m., and I am going to quit blogging for today and seek some bed rest in the hope that I can still manage an evening walk.
By the way, my monthly pension was directly deposited today, and I was able to transfer it to my private account before my wife evidently noticed it, for she never contacted me to seek any of it.
